For
the
good
things-
the
staff
is
incredibly
friendly
and
attentive,
the
location
is
solid.
If
you're
looking
for
a
place
to
just
sleep,
this
is
not
a
bad
choice.
However
with
the
rates
of
Manhattan
hotels,
you
can
find
something
nicer
at
a
similar
rate.
The
hotel
is
nice
when
you
walk
in,
but
past
the
updated
branding
this
is
more
of
a
motel.
I
arrived
at
3:15
for
a
3pm
check,
the
room
wasn't
ready
until
about
3:45,
but
again
staff
was
nice
.
I
had
a
room
in
the
basement,
which
already
was
a
bit
off
putting,
its
weird
down
there.
The
size
of
the
room
isn't
bad,
but
it's
narrow
like
a
hall
way.
Even
though
its
a
basement
room
it
does
have
a
window
and
gets
some
light
peaking
from
above.
Otherwise
the
lighting
is
a
bit
drab.
The
room
had
an
odd
smell,
kind
of
a
damp
smell.
There
was
signs
of
water
damage.
There
was
also
several
flys.
Whoever
cleaned
the
room
prior
did
the
sink
trick
to
'seal'
the
toilet
paper,
but
it
was
so
wet
that
it
made
most
of
the
roll
soggy
all
the
way
through.
The
bathroom
sink
doesn't
have
a
counter,
it
was
more
like
a
sink
you'd
find
in
a
high
school
bathroom.
The
fixtures
in
the
room
are
a
bit
dated
and
beat
up,
the
walls
also
have
an
odd
amount
of
scuff
marks.
The
internet
was
spotty.
And
the
kicker-
there's
a
$22
resort
fee-
for
what?
I
didn't
do
the
free
breakfast
so
can't
comment
on
that.
Overall-
it
was
a
cheap
rate,
in
a
prime
location,
so
for
a
one
night
solo
trip
it
works.
But
for
a
similar
rate
you
could
book
Tryp,
Four
Points,
Holiday
Inn-
or
any
other
number
of
hotels
nearby.
Kudos
to
the
staff
for
being
incredibly
friendly,
but
I
don't
plan
on
coming
back.
