I needed to get back into some form of exercise, so I tried a free military deal for a month. My first time was scary because I was out of shape. The staff told me about Restorative class; an instructor ask about any injuries, etc. I love this class; just the right flow for this older Yogi. I also love the Gentle Yoga. All the instructors are great, knowledgeable, calming, loving, and on and on. I've been doing these classes (at Voss) for over a year!! Love, love, love Joy Yoga!!

Incredible experience every time I visit. Hot, powerful, and of the highest quality instruction. The space is beautiful, the community is friendly, and the style of yoga practiced here is so freeing and challenging and intense but always so worth it. My body never feels better than the way it does after a Lyons den power yoga class.

Visiting from the UK, recieved an amazingly warm welcome from the staff and the yoga session was really great, definitely got me going! I didn't know how to secure my locker, I figured it seemed like a nice enough place to leave my things tucked away for just an hour as there weren't many people around at all (I do this a lot in Britain!!) but unfortunately about $150 cash was taken from my wallet during my yoga session. I am 100% certain that it was taken during the session, don't ever be too trusting! That left a bitter taste in my mouth and made me a bit sad, I won't be going back but the yoga session itself was fantastic - it was with a lovely European lady.

Lyons Den Power Yoga is, very simply, my favorite place in New York City. It is not only a Yoga studio, it is a center of Community, Power and Love, and there is no other place I would rather come to together with others to enjoy my Yoga Practice. Ps. I had no intention to practicing Yoga until I was in my fifties (that was my schedule for this). One class, as a promise to a Friend, at The Den, changed this.... It also changed my Life.

World class Baptiste yoga studio. One of only 2 in manhattan and the other is also lyons den. Check out these studios for their devotion to the power flow/ journey into power sequences that are second nature to their awesome teaching staff! This is more than a studio it's a community and I cannot be more proud to be a part of it.

What a magical place in a fast paced city! Both studios are spotless and every detail was thought through. The products are animal friendly and the staff is exceptionally warm and welcoming. The classes are consistent and the technique is very effective.

Tremendously uplifting and yet grounding place for yoga. My wife and I first tried Lyons Den because of its affiliation with Baptiste yoga but have since become regulars. Lyons Den is a fantastic example of Baptiste practice mixed with a fantastic New York City vibe. Though the space is a discreet size, all the amenities are present; most importantly, the instructors and staff are both hospitable and super polite. It's our favorite New York City studio.

Bethany is a treasure for leading pay-what-you-can classes 6 days a week while we are in quarantine. She's powerful, courageous and a catalyst for everything important in this world. Someday I will make it to a class in the actual brick and mortar of Lyon's Den, but until then - I can count on Bethany to be there M-F 5-6pm EST and Sunday Service Noon-1:30pm. Always bringing the fire with the love.

Lyons Den is where I always go when I am in NYC...you cannot beat the powerful, athletic Baptiste flow and the talent of the instructors that deliver it. I am always greeted warmly by the staff. This place is a must if you love power yoga.

Lyons Den digital classes are high quality and very engaging! I have loved being able to continue my yoga practice through all the virtual classes they offer (both live and recorded) each week. The staff are amazing and so motivating!

Lyons Den Power Yoga is a welcome escape in this crazy, loud city (don't get me wrong, I <3 NY, but sometimes I need a little quiet and a lot of yoga). I'm new to yoga, but LDPY was never intimidating for me. In each class I've taken, there have been students of all levels—someone in headstand on the mat to my left, someone in Child's Pose on my right, and me somewhere in the middle, sweating like a maniac. The room is kept at a warm but not "OMG I'm going to die" temperature, so you will definitely work up a healthy sweat whether you opt for the 60-minute or the 90-minute class. There is a shower in the women's locker room, which is nice, and everything is clean, warm and inviting (including the owners' puppy, Josie, who has a little home built into the reception area—so cute). So far I have taken classes with Bethany (the co-founder and one of my longtime favorite instructors at SoulCycle), Jessica and Terri, and all of them have been fantastic. The pace is always active and athletic, and I somehow leave feeling both invigorated and delightfully exhausted. I could go on, but go try it for yourself. Lyons Den offers a $79 new student discount which is good for a month of unlimited classes. I did that and most definitely got my money's worth (and I'm feeling strong and amazingly calm during this time of year). I hope you love it as much as I do!
