I have witnessed someone being dragged in by cops without their consent that was brought in from a false call and was held. Felt bad having to comfort someone who had to go through this brutality, yes there are some who needs help but I'm sure those Poeple are obvious, but if someone was to refuse without a reason or doupt the service after saying it wasn't needed one should not be forced, what age are we living in the stone age...its 2018 let's breathe fresh air...peace.

One of the most horrific places I’ve ever seen and been in in my life. Please stay away if you are looking for a good psychatric facility for yourself or a loved one.

Feels like a jail. The bathrooms are in terrible condition and there were more men in the room than there were women. Everything was so cold. It was never worth it to try and get help.

Lovely place. Beautiful landscape. Nice aesthetic appeal. I did my internship here. As one reviewer put it, GREAT mentorship. Clients are treated with respect. Privileges are afforded to those who perform well. A nicely ran facility. I wish my ex would seek help here. I pray for him he's in a sunken place. He not only causes harm to himself but those around him. Definitely think with these current times they should consider an Outreach program focused in Brownsville.

No issues. But you must know the building #and the ward number that you are going to /that the person is in. Security will not /can't look this information up for you.

Well most patients are here for a long time as the facility is meant for a long-term hospital. Also for ones who do not have insurance. Sadly some will nt ever recover fully. They do like medicating patients without having a full diagnosis. The grounds are beautiful with trees, walk-ways and benches. Good patients are sometimes given a grounds pass either alone or with a buddy, and even if most units are locked. The Crisis unit is for high standing people in need of housing eg. Ae homes, halfway, supportive apartment living and SROs. Usually KCHC does the reception of Kingsboro patients.

The men in the safety department have the education of a high school dropout who only received a diploma because of Obama education policy.

🫤 So we paid $600 a night for a private room….. as you can see from the photos, toilet paper roll was broken. Maintenance came to fix and it fell off again. A fish smell was very apparent by the mobile IV unit, NOTHING looked sanitized or clean. The lower wall looks like something spilled down the wa...
