You come here if your looking to die. Physicians are jaded and disengaged. Constantly having to prove your sick or suffering. Being told you got it or tough it out has been the killer of black women and sydenham plays a role in this as well. 30 years and today was the day i quit. If you care about your health find somewhere else. Sydenham is where you go to pick up your bedside table cocktails of medicine. Just go to an actual hospital ANY OTHER HOSPITAL ! Update: Sydenham reached out to me shortly after the review to address my issue. Unfortunately, it did what it does best and let me down. However, a wonderful representative became a stakeholder in my care. She listened to and validated my concerns, promptly reaching out to her team to schedule an appointment for the very next week, according to my schedule. I spoke with the director who confirmed the appointment after checking my availability. On the day of the appointment, I arrived to be informed that I didn't have an appointment at all. Apparently, there had been an overnight change, and I was now required to wait for a month without any consideration for my availability. Even at the front desk, I was met with a dismissive and jaded tone. It was disheartening to hear them say, "We don't do that," when they could have informed me months ago so that I could explore other options for care. Regrettably, I don't envision Sydenham as a pillar in our community, despite its presence here for decades. As I observe the declining number of patients and diminishing service offerings, the lack of care and compassion comes as no surprise. I hope to find quality care outside of Sydenham, as I can no longer trust them to prioritize my well-being. They have proven themselves to be completely untrustworthy, disengaged from the community, and blissfully ignorant of their patients' needs. At this point, I suggest taking your insurance to a boutique clinic for better service and care.

.. Yes , it's true.. This small hospital stablished at 264 w 118th st is the right and smart place to take care of our own health 🙏 .. All Doctors & Nurses do an Amazing job in our body + scanning from head to toes + easy access to the lab (for all types of tests & exames) + with low or no costs and no stress for parking .. 👍 .. The only reason I go to Sydenham is because of Dr. H. Campbell. She is not only knowledgeable and professional but also very positive without being unrealistic. Every time I see her for my appointments I feel like I am being spoken to like a person, not an ordinary patient. It is so important and extremely rare nowadays to meet doctors who treat their patients in such a way.

Five stars for Dr. JACKSON I LOVE HER!!! But the new phone system to call in for appointments suck. You have me hold for a long time just to take my information to call me back days later to set up and appointment. That really sucks like what did I hold for then? You could have took my information instead of putting me on hold from the begin. The front desk can be rude at times over the phone. Dr.Jackson is the only reason I will continue to go here. Horrible they don't even answer the phones

This health center is lacking in it's most basic abilities to provide healthcare to those in need. My experience spans almost a month of trying to see a doctor and procure a referral for specialist care. My injury was time sensitive, but the doctor at Sydenham didn't even look at it, instead I was given useless blank referrals, and had to call Sydenham countless times. It took help from my insurance company, and the specialist doctor office plus my own calls to get the inept staff at Sydenham to fax a simple form. It appears they have no idea how insurance companies work, what they require and how to provide help to people who need specialist care. If your PCP is at Sydenham I suggest you change it immediately before you actually need healthcare, or be ready to take on a second job while you deal with the careless and endlessly inefficient system at Sydenham.

Horrible service from front desk staff, nurses, doctors. specifically from the date 8/23/22 between 3-5:40 pm. Would not even recommend to my worst enemy. staff is unorganized, gentleman at front desk is rude, doctors like Mitchel don't do their work at all. If your looking to go in circles and argue, this is the place. A simple form for work, will get lost, told its not done, get told the doctor didn't do it, the social worker is on vacation, anpther assistant doctor wouldnt sign because he didmt personally see the patient. Mind you all the informationfor the form were vaccines, blood work which was done and height and weight. if you've been there file a complaint against the health department. They're complaining about releasing Vaccination records but God forbid if that form would've been filed out and lost. Was also not given the supposedly supervisor's email "Cesar" because according to the nurse they don't have an email.

This satellite clinic never answers there phone and employee are too lazy to look up your information so they would rather make a new profile. Which in actuality takes more work. When making appointments on the hotline their staff is rude and has made mistakes on numerous occasions.

Wish could give zero. Terrible experience with my doctor and the lab technician left my finger bleeding. Waiting time is too much. Wouldn’t recommend this place at all at all And of course with the exception of the good people there. I hope the doctor and the medical assistant whom I dealt with change their behave .

This is the ultimate worse place to go. No one here believes in great Customer Service or even know what it means. The staff walks around with attitudes and when you ask for help staff do not care to assist you. The energy is very low in this facility and the service sucks. Please hire better employees who actually care about peoples well being rather than a paycheck. I wish no stars was an option because 1 is too much!!!

Wish i could give a zero rating. Syndenham health is the worstttt clinic ever. Their staffing especially "Ms. Hunt" the receptionist is beyond disrespectful and have no manners. I just spoke to her on the phone in regard to my OBGYN appointment that they changed without my permission and she was very condescending. This is the second time they did this. Please save your energy and go somewhere else! I scheduled my appointment for june 23 at 11 am and took the day off from work and she called me thid morning stating my appointment is not june 23 but june 16 and the doctor is fully booked for june 23. I will never go to this clinic again. The OBGYN Ms, Campbell is very nice and professional but the rest of the staffs are very rude and unprofessional. They treat and talk to patients like we are in the streets. All patients should start writing their experiences so the city can either closed this horror clinic or fired those who have no business working there. They are clearly only there to collect a check. Zero customer service!

Went to try and get a COVID test here. People on line were not wearing masks and were drinking coffee. There is no enforcement of safety protocols. If you don’t have COVID when you go you will probably get it while standing on line. I left the line without getting a test. Disgraceful.

Dr Mary Mc Cord is the best Pediatrician . She would call and follow up on my kids . I've been going to that clinic since my 1st pregnancy (2007) on 125th st . I miss Dr Lanzara, Dr Ignacio, Dr Jackson and some other great Doctors. I thank y'all for your services.

Wow. I am blown away by the amazing women that were running the outdoor COVID testing site today. Incredibly efficient, patient and kind. The ladies handling the line were so nice and on top of the paperwork and ID hand off situation. And the medical professionals in the tent made you feel like someone you knew for years was taking care of you. I told one of them i was a bit skittish with needles, and another NP came right over when she heard me say that and started talking to me and laughing with me while the needle went in. Didn’t even notice or look over once. I wish i had gotten her name, it is difficult to hear with the AC exhaust and so much face protection. Bless these workers out in the heat all day every day to take care of us quickly. Every single one of them deserves to be compensated more for their labor.

I been trying to get in contact with this people for over a week for a refill, in the app in the phone and no body answer or get back to you.. when someone pick up they hang up the phone

I got a nasal swab for COVID this morning. The staff and medical professionals here were fantastic; they were compassionate (there was even a staff member handing out water bottles and making sure everyone was doing OK in the heat). The tech who did my swab was professional and talked me through the whole thing. They're taking every precaution (distancing, asking you to sanitize before entering the tent, etc). The swab itself was legitimate (unlike Urgent Cares where they seem to just do a 'light' swab of one nostril...?), so I feel confident about the results coming from Sydenham. Yes you need to have a little patience because they are busy, but the people are great and really taking care of the community. Thank you all so much!

Today, Aug 8 2020, we went to the Harlems Gotham Health Sydenham to have our Covid tests done at the Outdoor tent. My wife and myself are absolutely impressed by the professionalism, patience, knowledge and organized and efficient Doctors at the Institution. My most sincere thanks and congratulations to the efforts and admiration on how they handle their work. They helped my kid who was scared, showed him videos while he was doing the test, facilitated in the best way possible the process. I would love to thank all of the 6 people we interacted today, these doctors, receptionis ts and Lab experts are impressive professionals. It could not have been a better experience for our kids and ourselves. Santiago Conway

Whatever you do please stay away from Dr Sanitorini at Sydenham especially if you are black ! He writes vague paperwork for FMLA and leaves some parts out deliberately so it can be denied , run my yearly physical I was borderline diabetes he still let me almost have surgery without placing me on a medication such a meta formin, the leadership in that place is non existent , any doctor like Claude but please stay away from Dr Sanitorini unless dying young is part of your life plan ! He can’t even write a detailed letter for your job I have never come across such a doctor in my almost 4 decades on earth ! Good luck

The tests are not accurate and the people performing the tests do not do them well, barely stick the q-tip in your nose. (This is the DocGo car outside this location)

I wanted to give this Quest a try, it is much closer. i was tranferred when I contacted my first person - the phone is till ringing. Im going to 215 W.125th. No one was rude to me, I wasn't able to get phone call answered.

Came here for a covid19 & anti body test. The place is a mess, Don’t even think about coming here for testing. Also they DONOT do anti-body tests here. Another Blasio mess.

We all need to be nicer to each other . You never know what someone is going through. A kind word. The way you speak to someone makes a big difference. .
