Found this little gem while on my way to Woodhull Medical. The staff was very welcoming and friendly from the minute I walked in. The place is cozy and feels like a perfect place to chill out while sippin’ some coffee/tea. Excellent tea selection and delicious almond croissant. Highly recommend!

I ordered a sandwich that said it came with tomatoes and avocado on it and then it didnt have either of those things. They should at least tell you when youre ordering that the menu is not up to date if that’s the case. Also if you dont specify the size of your coffee when ordering they wont ask theyll just give you a large because its more expensive. Overall gave me scammy vibes but the actual taste of the food and coffee was good.

The shrimp and grits is amazing! Not many people like grits but this cafe definitely hits it spot on with so much flavor and cheesy goodness. The huckleberry smoothie is also a delightful treat for those wanting a healthy alternative with natural sweetness!

Truly a treat of a local coffee shop, tucked away on whipple street off of Broadway is Bushwick Grind. More than a few blocks from my apartment, this is where I go on my day off when I have time to enjoy the neighborhood & treat myself to an oat milk latte. Serving an amazing variety of coffee/ tea and wellness products with fresh ingredients. The owner, Kim really sets the vibe for the shop welcoming you with charm and knowledgeable options! We love options in NYC. They also outdoor seating and have a variety of wellness products for sale including home made seamoss. Did I mention this business is black owned? 5 stars ☺️

Honestly couldn't rate this place higher. It was first day in New York (and first time in the US) and the welcoming and warn hospitality of this place honestly blew me away. Such a lovely start to my trip - super friendly, super vibe, and super delicious. I got the french toast and was enjoying it so much that someone walking past actually stopped to say how I happy I looked with my breakfast 😂. Really lovely local cafe - highly recommend xxx

I’m shocked to see this places has a 4.7. I never write reviews, but this experience was beyond horrible. I should have expected this when I walked in the store and flies were all over the place. I ordered a Buffalo chicken wrap. Took over 20 mins to make and probably was the worst wrap I’ve ever eaten in my life. Soggy and horrible taste. Then extremely overpriced. If I had the stomach to actually eat the entire wrap, each half would have been 3 bites tops. Never will go here again.

The place has a chill vibe about it, but has a quiet energy that feels productive. Good coffee, very nice menu...sweet treats are also worth it.

This is a great little place. It is smaller, with not a lot of seating. The quality of coffee is good! When I went there was three different type of fruity, citrus based coffee roasts. I tried the Boka roast (vanilla, pear and stone fruit) and Idido (floral, melon, citrus). I did the Idido as an Americano which was a great decision. I love darker roasts of coffee so I enjoyed that more. I wish they would have had a variety of roasts available. I tried the blueberry muffin and that was awesome, great flavor!! The prices were awesome. The employees were super friendly! I would recommend this place!

Dined in while in the area for coffee and a breakfast burrito. Was welcoming and cozy inside. Got a glass of sparking with my coffee which was a thoughtful touch. The service is excellent. Person behind the counter was super sweet and helpful. Grabbed a pistachio donut on the way out and it was amazing!

Great small place with plenty of options for my friend and wife to get exactly what they wanted.

I cannot emphasize enough how good the coffee was. I got an iced coffee with nothing added. It can be tiring for coffee shops to tell you their concoctions need no milk or sugar, but at Bushwick Grind it’s actually true. The brew had genuine chocolate and fruit flavors. It has now ruined me for all other coffee!! The food was fantastic too. The extremely kind service allowed my nephew to adjust the ingredients in the breakfast burrito, and my smoothie was delicious, with almond butter to boot. We ate at the counter, but there was also lots of outdoor space to hang with company or a book for as long as you’d want. It’s not formal or covered, but more of the coffee shop vibe.

Delicious coffee, delicious sandwiches. Very narrow and is not a good place to break up with someone. Good place to get closer to a loved one or new friend!

Hands down my favorite coffee shop in the world. Warm feeling, good food, great coffee, the owner has a great story behind the coffee they serve, clean, friendly and a staple/pillar for Brooklyn.

Friendly baristas. Ask what fruit infused syrups they have! I got a peach iced tea with lavender peach syrup made by a friend of the owner. Delicious! Also great to see they have a communal fridge and pantry outside!

Yesterday my family and I enjoyed the Mother’s Day brunch! The shrimp and grits was superb. The kale salad a pleasant treat. The macaroni and cheese simply delicious! What a treat! We will be back!

I walked in seeking a regular cup of coffee. When I made it to the register - I decided to check their menu and I was happily overwhelmed with all their delicious choices. Sooo - 🤭 I changed my mind and ordered their coffee smoothie, a ginger shot and a cup of chicken noodle soup to go. *** SURPRISE: their soups come with a few pieces of garlic bread 🥰🥰🥰 *** Everything was delicious and I was super happy with my choices!! I can’t wait to return and try more of their menu items! Thank You 🫶🏼

Stopped in to grab an iced mocha and stayed for a amazing grilled chicken pesto on sourdough. Food was great, but the welcoming atmosphere was what really puts this place above and beyond. Definitely found my coffee haunt in the neighborhood.

A coworker and I searched for a delicious meal; we saw the Bushwick Grind decided to enter. We were greeted with welcoming and outstanding customer service. The assistance was excellent; the menu made us drool, and the price comparable to the area. The food was delicious were going back for more. Oh, the inviting, relaxed atmosphere was professionally and personally stimulating.

Went here in the beginning of January and I loved it. The workers were so friendly and were very helpful with all the questions we had. We decided to sit in and drink, and it made a lasting impression- I saw how much love and community that was in this place as different people came in and out of the cafe. One of the ladies gave us another drink to try and apologized for being so busy and not being able to talk. She didn’t know it was my birthday but it was like a wonderful present. I’m back in California but whenever I come back to the city I will make the effort to visit here again :)
