My daughter wanted to come here for her birthday so we both walked in and there was plenty of seating available. Of course the starter is salad and bread both good options. For appetizer we started off with calamari and this pretty much filled us up. The portion was huge more for 3 people. I got mushroom fettuccine and my daughter ordered the broccoli and shrimp fettuccini. I haven’t been to Olive Garden in years but the food tasted pretty generic like frozen dinners. This was a bummer. With the portions being so big we had plenty to wrap up and take home but didn’t even eat it. If I do go back I would order one plate and share it.

Title: A Casual Yet Romantic Italian Dining Experience ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Visiting the Olive Garden at 505 Gateway Dr, Brooklyn, NY 11239, has always felt like a culinary journey to our memories of more specific, happier times. As long-time patrons, my wife and I have been frequenting this restaurant for years and have watched our children grow up enjoying its splendid Italian-American menu. From the moment we pull into their spacious parking lot - which has never given us trouble in finding a quick spot - to the point we step into the cozy, Tuscan-inspired interior, Olive Garden has remained a beacon of consistent quality, service, and a relaxed ambiance. On busier days, the full-sized bar provides a comfortable waiting area for our table to be ready. There's something uniquely relaxing about sipping a drink and watching TV while anticipating the mouthwatering meal that lies ahead - it truly enhances the overall dining experience. As we walked in on the evening of July 4th, 2023, we were pleasantly surprised by the lack of waiting time. This prompt seating experience only further elevated our anticipation for the evening. Seated comfortably in a booth, the soft music playing in the background set a romantic yet casual tone to our dinner. Our dinner started with the appetizing Shrimp Fritto Misto - a generous portion of hand-breaded shrimp, onions, and bell peppers, perfectly fried and served with marinara and spicy ranch. The Pasta E Fagioli soup that followed served with the Olive Garden's signature breadsticks, was comforting, flavorful, and hearty. The star of our meal was, without a doubt, the Chicken Parmigiana. Two lightly fried parmesan-breaded chicken breasts smothered in homemade marinara and Italian cheeses created a satisfying main course that was simply irresistible. My wife and I both opted for this dish, with her substituting the side of spaghetti and sauce with Fettuccine Alfredo - a choice that she found to be quite gratifying. Our sweet ending came with the decadent Tiramisu paired with a cappuccino for myself while my wife indulged in the delicious Sicilian Cheesecake with a strawberry topping and a coffee. As always, the desserts at Olive Garden were the perfect final touch to a delightful meal. Service throughout the evening was friendly, attentive, and prompt. After we settled into our booth, our sodas were served quickly, and the staff was more than willing to accommodate my wife's substitution request. That being said, we miss the pizza offerings Olive Garden discontinued around 2017. As fans of Italian cuisine, we believe that pizza has its place in an Italian restaurant, and its absence on the menu is noticeable. This Olive Garden location, established in 1999, has been serving its signature Italian-American dishes with commitment and flair. Despite some mixed reviews online, our personal experience has always been positive, and we stand by this establishment's high quality of food, service, and ambiance. Whether you're a fan of unlimited breadsticks, crave the creamy Alfredo sauce, or simply looking for a relaxed dining experience, Olive Garden at Gateway NYC provides an inviting atmosphere that brings the spirit of Italy right into the heart of Brooklyn. While we do hope for the return of their pizza offerings, this doesn't detract from the excellent dining experience that the restaurant consistently provides. From our numerous recent visits, we can confidently say that the Olive Garden at Gateway NYC is a great place to enjoy a high-quality meal without breaking the bank. After all, it's not just about the food - it's about the memories you make while dining there. From the bottom of our hearts, we give the Olive Garden a well-deserved five stars at 505 Gateway Dr, Brooklyn, NY 11239.

Everything we ate was flavorful from the appetizer to the entrees. My Italian Margarita and the Black Russian drinks were good too, not watered down at all. Service was fast and everything was brought to us in good timing between appetizer and Entree.

This place is great! Atmosphere is chill and cool but the bartender was really friendly. The staff know what they’re doing and what they’re talking about, and you can tell making the customers happy is their main priority. There was a major delay in getting our food. (50 minutes wait) Food is pretty good, some italian classics and some twists, and for their prices it’s 100% worth it.

This olive garden has amazing service and i’ve never been disappointed with the food or anything at this restaurant. I ordered the “tour of italy” and it was really good! I also order a raspberry iced tea, and gnocchi and chicken soup which i really liked.I also love the breadsticks

My friend and I went there to have lunch before going back to work. It was not crowded. The service was fast. The never ending soup salad and breadsticks was awesome. The Raspberry lemonade was good. They have parking. For indoor dining you must show vaccine card and ID.

Seated faster than the time frame we were told. Quick service. Wonderful waitress. (JAYLAH YOU'RE AMAZING! KEEP DOING IT!) I had the chicken gnocchi soup and chicken tortellini Alfredo and it was so cheesy and creamy and yummy.

I used to go to Olive Garden probably once a month 2001-2010 with the family. It was a lovely place to go. It declined after that, we went less often, the menu changed, and then we just stopped. Fast Fwd to the 202X and feelings of nostalgia creep back in... Remember the salad and the bruschetta, the stuffed mushrooms? Now the menu is mostly fried or baked stuff, just heavy. The drinks are better, fruitier it seems, the salad is still great (why so few tomatoes) and the soups were tempting... Entrees were fine... I want to re-discover this chain. I hope they recapture the magic. This location was well kept, and clean. Staff seemed to wander, only 2 x people were actually working, but 4 others were wandering. That's the new normal I guess.

Our server Jaleel (hope I spelt his name correctly) was AMAZING. Very kind and polite. We would definitely visit again if he's our server. To prove how nice he was I actually remembered his name. I usually don't remember their names.

We attended this Olive Garden for my mothers 86th Birthday celebration, which was by far the worst experience we ever had at any Olive Garden. The waitress Sharina J was by far the worse person for treating my mother in that fashion. And I understand that they were busy but when I see Sharina J attending other tables with faster service and better customer service as well as the food there is definitely something wrong with management. I should have known when we were passed over 3 other groups of younger adults that the staff knew it was not going to be a great night. We attended this Olive Garden being that it was close to the Casino and the two things my mother wanted for her 86th birthday was to play some slot and have her favorite food and her favorite restaurant Olive Garden. (Well at least she had one of her birthday wishes come true). Once we were sat they sat us next to the kitchen and I literally had to get up and ask for utensils ask for cheese help get my drink. When we ordered The Strawberry moscato it was all ice and half the fruit was rotten. When I asked for help from the “manager” in the white t shirt she and well as the other gentleman with the black T-shirt and ipad Just responded to me wait for your waiter. The food was horrible. We ordered the spinach dip. Disgusting. It was hard on top and cold. The pasta dishes we ordered was cold and hard on top. I had ordered a beer that took her 30 minutes to get me. When she finally did I went to help her and she pushed me away with the beer and you again oh my god and went to attend the other table with a smile. I wasn’t the only one who saw this. I was with my wife daughter mother and sister who all witnessed what I went through and they felt bad. So I asked the only male had to chuck it up and apologize for brining them to that Olive Garden and not our usual ones that we go too. Last but not least, desert. My wife ordered three deserts (my mom’s favorites) and my wife has to practically beg Sharina J to put everything on a plate with candles for her. The staff didn’t want to sing. When the desert came out it was cold and soggy. She threw the chocolate dip and fruit dip on the table In front of my 6 year old daughter’s face which some chocolate spilled on her dress. Horrible, horrible, horrible Waitress. And I don’t even want to mention how long it took for the desert to arrive. We did not want any altercation or harassment so we packed everything up and tossed it out when we arrived home. It saddens me to think in this time when we are all going through so much and when we try to celebrate the little time we have left with our loved ones some one with that dimeanor can find it in themselves to treat other in that fashion. Thank you for your time for reading this. And have a great day.

Great service by our server Werley! He really paid attention to us and was quick on the refill of drinks and very pleasant to speak with. The Service Manager Holly came over to see if we were okay and enjoying ourselves which was nice. The food as always in all my experiences was fresh and tasty! I always love the Tour of Italy and my husband had the never ending pasta bowl which was great for him with so many combinations! The iced tea flavored and flavored lemonades did not dissapoint either. They were fruity and delicious! Also this is the only restaurant I will eat the calamari and the salad and breadsticks are a great start to the meal. I love the strawberry cream cake and the presentation they do for a birthday! Delicious and satisfying!

My sister and I stopped in for a quick lunch at Olive Garden in Gateway. Parking was terrible! Weird how empty the place was and there was still a 20 minute wait to be seated. The "endless" salad was barely chopped...the onions were such big pieces and the lettuce pieces were humongous. The crispy chicken Alfredo was so salty that I could feel my blood pressure spike 5 minutes into the meal. The cook was so stingy with the Alfredo sauce...the spaghetti was so dry...I asked for more Alfredo, and was given the smallest, tiny container! At least the bread sticks were soft and warm...the only saving grace from a terribly mediocre lunch. We should have gone to five guys!

Went there with a friend. Staff was friendly and helpful. Restaurant was very clean. We went there at 2 pm and it was full. We had to wait 15-20 minutes for the table. Food was fresh and delicious. Had a great time.

The pasta was bland. The crispy chicken I ordered was too salty. My companion meal was lacking taste. The restaurant was not crowded, but the wait times were 45 minutes per table regardless of party size. Apparently they were not sufficiently staffed that particular day.

This is my go to place for me and my girls when we want a quick lunch. My girls always order from the kids menu and I have the salad and soup. This time we ordered fried calamari as well and it was absolutely delicious…best we have ever had. The servers are always nice and attentive at this location, but this time we had an exceptional waiter. Overall, our experience was wonderful!

We went in for an early dinner and was not disappointed. Service was quick and our server was pleasant. The food was hot, fresh and delicious. I ordered a mudslide without Ice cream and it was great! Overall it was a good experience.

Server was told many times we need napkins. Disappeared many times. She asked did we want check. We wanted dessert 🍨 Then she told us we order on computer. We did and then said again are you ready for check? Again we reminded her we ordered dessert. Waited more than 15 for it to come to table. Then we asked for boxes. She seemed more concerned if one of the other tables was going to pay or skip out. Customer Service is everything for me. Especially when my sister and I spent over $100! Food was fantastic as usual.

I loved the service we received from server Darlene. Darlene was very professional and provided quality service. She always smiled and can back to check to make sure the food was cooked to perfection. I would definitely recommend this restaurant location to all my friends coworkers and family. Thank you Darlene for making our experience at Olive Garden wonderful. God bless you.

My significant other and I came into this Olive Garden location and had a poor experience; we placed an order and waited over an hour to receive our food, after waiting that time I stood at the counter right in front of the cashier for To-Go and was ignored, they had bags of food that were ready to be picked up, lined up on the counter and they never announced anyone’s name that their order was ready. I overheard a conversation between two specialists, one of which had said “They already ordered, they can wait” in a very passive-aggressive tone. Meanwhile everyone, including myself, there waiting for their food was respectful and understanding of how busy it was. The unprofessionalism and lack of care with guest service was disappointing. I don’t know about anyone else, but when I go somewhere to order food, I don’t like to feel as if I’m in the way. As the slogan goes “We’re all family here”, I felt like an outcast.

Our waiter Raul was such a pleasant person. He got our orders correct every time. It took a while but we went during a busy time. Our food came out at a short time and he was always so kind about everything. Food and drinks were great, such an ideal family outing.

The service was excellent! Hands down. Our server, Tina, was on top of everything. She was patient, understanding, and fast. All the food my party received was fresh and hot. I love how all the teams worked together smoothly while also being mannersble. The manager walked throughout the place to ensure that everyone was satisfied. My only complaint would be the waiting time, but it was also Father's Day, so that's expected. I highly recommend this location =)

I started my keto journey about 3 weeks ago. Our server was Destiny. She was such a sweet gentle soul. Very professional and offered great service. I asked for the unlimited chicken and gnocchi soup which I asked if I was possible for the cooks not to ladle any gnocchi. She was more than happy to accommodate. I ordered the chicken Alfredo and asked to sub the pasta with broccoli which she was happy to accommodate. The food was delish and the service was outstanding. Thank you Destiny.

This is my son's favorite restaurant. He loves their pasta and pizza. I do too my favorite is the shrimp and scallops with a topping of grilled chicken, yes I love to mix it up. That mango martini is life. Not forgetting the friendly staff (Vernalda) who greets us like family on our way in sure makes sure I have a nice comfy seat( Am also in a wheelchair scooter) our server (Yasmine) if am not right am sorry but she is truly the best she always offer the best soups and serve us with a smile. Did I say I love it there?!

Currently still in the restaurant. Bad service, waited 30 minutes to get seated then waited a next 20 minutes to order. The dishes they gave me was dirty . The glass they gave me is dirty : overall I don’t recommend this location to nobody. Save your money you could make these food at home. Can’t pay for bad service and dirty dishes and the food under cook
