There is a girl that works there who is very rude no customer service... No professionalism. Disrespectful ... I would not recommend this place. Absolutely rubbish service. If you can do better go somewhere that appreciate you spending your money . That young lady needs some classes on respect and customer service. She made it seem like I was there begging food. She acted rude to the customers infront of me and arguing with the chef in the back. I thought she must be having a bad day . But I went back and the same disgusting behaviour. I do not even by water there. Off my list completely for spending my money.

So I bought a chicken roti yesterday on Pitkin Ave. I paid $11 for high blood pressure. Listen, that roti was extremely salty. I am not exaggerating. I couldn't taste any flavor it was only salt. I tried at best to eat most of it, I guess I made out with about $6 worth cause the rest I had to throw out. It was a huge disappointment. Whoever that cook was that day don't need to make curry it's dangerous. Never again, I'll stick to pattis

This golden krust is ok only for beef patties and even those are now tasting not fresh at all and the person at the register was rude and didn't seem to care either. The food use to be very good but the order I purchased was to salty and the peas and rice was very dry and the pieces of chicken they gave me was mostly nothing but bones with a very little bit of gravy!!😡😠 I paid good money for a poor dinner. I will go to the golden krust on utica ave from now on!!!

The food is probably the best Caribbean restaurant there is. At first the food taste great. But try not to eat it every day or you might lose interest in taste,(like any other food restaurant). But the quality and texture of the oxtail is preferably satisfying, seriously!. And the sauce is so rich poured over the brown rice. I really like it. The cabbage is actually good. It's a little expensive for a small plate. But trust me every penny is worth it. They got basically every type of Caribbean meal you can think of, especially beef patties. Give it a try you won't be disappointed.

Loved the large chicken soup.The server was very nice. Was feeling good after I had it.

This place is the best NOT ONLY IS THE FOOD FRESH AND HOT AND GOOD.THEY ARE VERY HONEST PEOPLE. I 4GOT MY $190 SNEAKERS I JUST BOUGHT FROM the SNEAKER STORE NEXT DOOR..well long story SHORT.I CALLED GOLDEN KRUST THE NEXT MORNING AND THEY HAD MY BRAND NEW SNEAKERS..

Very rude and disgusting. The cashier shouts at you, like you are children. She needs customer service classes. Word of advice when you greet customers you have a smile on your face you ask them how can you help them. You do not shout at them like their kids in a schoolyard, stare at with a stinkface or give them attitude when they are the one spending their money. The tall girl with the short haircut needs to be replaced as soon as possible I am not spending my money in that Golden Krust ever again just because of her. Totally unacceptable. If you having a bad day stay at home, or maintain yourself when you are dealing with customers. 2 stars, she is not good for business.

I went there today and ordered stew pea the server did take into consideration that plate was very small she overload the plate by the time I got to my destination my food was all over the bag I had to return to the store. When I got to the store and explain the situation to the manager ,she didn’t apologizes she gave me my money back but it’s not about the money it’s about the principle .they all need a course in customer service and preparation.

First ..i ordered pepper steak only to receive a phone call 30 mins later..sayin it would be substituted with something else .p(see picture)it smelled like funky feet seriously

First impression. The women on the phone hung on me after I asked her a question. I ordered a large oxtail for delivery. The oxtail was a bit plane and tough to eat. I asked for gravy on my rice. The rice was dry and had little gravy. I was disappointed about my experience and food thus I give them 3 stars.

The experience here is okay, but the food is disgusting. I have no idea how people eat this food. I think it's because of the area. I ordwe from this place few times, and everytime I say I won't go back, I try again because I want to think it's a few off days. I have had them even return items because it was so nasty. But when I tell you the food is disgusting, this is no over exaggeration. Their dumplings taste like overnight over used dumplings that was sitting in water for hours. Thier stew peas is always nasty, and the kidney, oh lord, don't even attempt to buy this. The owner needs to really do something about this restaurant. Please Golden Krust, do better! Change the chef, do something. This review is coming from a good place. I live near the area, and I'm extremely disappointed with the food quality!

The lady in front was so lazy she couldn’t put my beef patty inside my coco bread which I turn made a mess for me. If you’re lazy and don’t want to work then don’t work !

This place needs to close down the food is nasty and they over charge for that is suppose to be good!!!
