Very nice view, large football field. But be careful, the ball can easily fly over the net into the ocean

This place is such a hidden gem at night, I accidentally came here after dinner and went for a jog. The view to manhattan was superb and the houses along the river are stunning. Worth a visit

Great field to play some pickup footy! Was visiting NY from Toronto and everyone playing was so friendly. They invited us to play some pickup with them. Such an amazing place! For more Travel: IG: @rondelrb

Looks like not many visitors know about this wonderful place. It's awesome to walk around the sport field and also able to see the skylines of the lower Manhattan.

Get your skates on! This place has a roller rink on top of the futbol field, beach volleyball fields, basketball courts and so much walking space along the river. Many people have driven passed this location but may not acknowledge its presence because it’s tucked away. It’s a great place to bring family, friends and people who are visiting the city.

Stunning view of the city and can see the Statue of Liberty from afar. Plenty of bike trails and places to walk. Also had the soccer fields and got to see a game!

I’m in love with this park and you will be too. It’s located downtown Brooklyn which is thriving and progressive. There’s so much to do such as volleyball, skating, bike rentals, picnic areas and more. It is such a beautiful and peaceful place. This park is even more beautiful at night. My friends were engaged there and the background of this park added to the whole mood of the night. Don’t take my word for it, check it out!!!

Perhaps one of the best places on earth to play football, or just to spend quality time.

This park is absolutely amazing! My extended family and I all got together for a cookout. The environment was clean, the people were friendly and the scenery was to die for! They also have grilling areas with grills and picnic areas without, a kid park, food and drink stands including alcohol beverages and sooo much more!

One of the best parks in Brooklyn! Can't beat the views. Each pier adds to the charm. You have basketball, soccer, an amazing tucked away open field. Great food and snacks all around.

If you want to play soccer in the city, play here. Best views ever. It was a really hot day and I was overheated, so I recommend playing in the evening. Super nice turf, and it wasn’t crowded at all surprisingly.

So much to do, great for family or dates. Ample hills ice cream, shake shack, pop up pool, basketball, handball, soccer, sand volleyball, BBQ picnic area, and more. All with as good of a view as you can find or NYC skyline, BK & Manhattan bridge. Take the ferry for $2.75 for full experience.

Love this park, parking is scarce, but the views are glamorous and the weather although hot was still great. We cooked on the grill, walked to the end of the pier to look at the Manhattan skyline and the Statue of Liberty with my 2 year old who also loved the kiddie parks

Has a beautiful view ⚽🤩 and feels great to play there with friends , but do know that this place is very beautiful and so there's a always a whole bunch of people so you gotta be able to play in small space or mix in with them and play or idk, but again that's just my experience.

The soccer fields at Pier 5 are simply spectacular! You have a wonderful backdrop of the Manhattan skyline. The fields themselves are clean and well maintained. Bathrooms are not here but only a short walk away in either direction toward Pier 4 or Pier 6.

I would love to stay here forever. Because I have not seen any city. Where the local counsel care a lot about their youth and everyone. For example Brooklyn has more then 5 piers where you have children’s and youth playing different different sport.

Put on your skates! There are basketball courts, beach volleyball courts, a roller rink on top of the soccer field, and a tonne of riverside walking space here. Due to its concealment, this location may have been driven past frequently without anyone noticing. It's a great place to take visitors, family members, and friends from out of town.

Amazing. I can't wait to go back. We celebrated my daughters bday with a beautiful BBQ and roller skating. The kids had an amazing time.

I must admit. Whoever is reading this review will get there bang for a buck experience this place. It's all you can dream of having the perfect barbecue, going fishing and playing many games of soccer! You can relax and be safe as you enjoy the amenities of this pier! I definitely recommend if you are in town to explore and experience the view on your own!

This is a beautiful park. Day or night.

Pros: Awesome place to play, great view and amazing clean air. Free to play ( if you find a spot to play). Has close by bathrooms, you can find a close by Basketball court as well. Cons: Too windy in the winter and very cold 🥶. Most or the time over the weekend the field is booked by organizations that organize leagues, that's who i play with. NycFooty offers good league options.

Turf has always been near perfect, unlike other turfs around NYC

This is a hidden gem. The views are beautiful this pier is kept so clean

  • 5/5 Shannel B. 10 months ago on Google
I was in the bbq area. It's very nice. They provide you with grills and tables. You aren't allowed to bring your own equipment. You also aren't allowed to bring any items to keep your food hot. You can byobb but it has to stay hidden. Other than that, it is nice with a lot of things to do.
