I could eat those green beans every day. Good portion sizes, great cocktails, and fast service. We'll definitely be back to try brunch.

Got the Korean fried Chicken sandwich. Would have been 5 stars but the chicken was a little more tough than I'd like and whoever put the sauce on was a little to heavy-handed. But the overrall flavors were nice and the The Rum Around drink was spot on. Nice and polite staff. Nice interior.

Very cool spot! Came here for date night with Hubby The Bourbon Smash was absolutely great!! We also really enjoyed the burger. We also had wings and mozzarella sticks, which were cool. It was the attentive service for me! The staff comfortably checked in often OMG I almost forgot... THEE Apple Bread Pudding was the absolutely perfect way to end our date

I am glad I found this restaurant. I made a little bit more effort to researching a place to dine at and it paid off. The food was very well put together in taste. You can tell it was thoughtfully prepared, even for something like a chicken sandwich! I ordered the fried chicken sandwich with waffle fries and it was out of this world. Tender inside, crispy outside, and served with melty cheese, yummy mushrooms, smoky bacon, and a kick of jalapenos. The waffle fries were fun. I got the bourbon smash drink and it was just right/strong and also thoughtfully crafted. I would recommend.

The food had great flavor and we were seated right away. A lot of menu options for brunch (breakfast + most of dinner). Prices are pretty on par with the neighborhood. We all cleaned our pores practically. The chicken is so moist and the waffles were great. Sweet potato fries left something to be desired. Biggest complaint was the music being so loud. It was very difficult to hear one another due to the musics volume. I was with my older parents, one of whom is hard of hearing, and neither of them could hear very well. That being said, the actual ambiance of the restaurant was pretty solid. And fairly cozy. I would like to return and see if there are improvements to sound, because if so, this place is worth it!

The Chicken thigh piece was incredibly small for the portion didn't cover the Biscuit at all. The plastic ramekins of sauce was just off brand and looked bad. The service was decent but the server seemed extremely nervous. All in all just not a good experience. The food was thoughtful in idea but sloppy in execution and experience. Completely underwhelmed

The food here was delicious. I came here 3/15/20 right before restaurants only did pick up or delivery. The staff was friendly and the place is cozy. It’s a perfect place to come with friends or a date. It’s very intimate here. The burger here is one of the best I've ever eaten it was so flavorful and juicy. Just thinking about it makes me salivate. The cheese, the bun, oh my. The deliver eggs were also delicious. We also had fries which were nice and the perfect crispiness. We had wine too. I wished the carrot cake was just a bit more moist. However, that citrus glaze with pecans complemented the cake very well. This place also has a backyard patio. Can’t wait for life to back to normal

Stopped by when the bar just opened at 4pm! Was able to get seated with no problem and I sat in the backyard patio. It was really cute and quaint. Ordered a chicken sandwich with fries. I really loved the fries. The chicken sandwich was okay. Loved the Happy pineapple limeade. It was a refreshing mock tail. They also had good margaritas!

The food and drinks were amazing. I had the citrus teriyaki salmon with green beans and the house salad. My son had the fried chicken thigh...everything was the delicious. Bought take out for the hubby happy hour cheeseburger & waffle fries, he said it was great. Had 2 drinks; one I can't remember the name it was like a rum punch with ginger, banana liqueur and Angostura with mint leaves garnish. Had 2 of those soooo good and a house white wine & exquisite cappuccino. Will definitely be back. Nice chill spot with great staff and awesome food/drinks. So glad I stumbled upon it from my walk back from the Children's museum ☺🙌🏽.

A friend of mine put together a low-key proposal to his now fiance and the Ryerson team really helped make everything go smoothly. Service was great, food was delicious!

I recently had my first meal at The Ryerson here are my pros and cons. Pros - attentive service, nice atmosphere and cool back patio space. Cocktails are good. Spices deliver. Cons - very heavy, itis educing menu with disappointing flavors in some instances. The way they fry chicken isn't to my liking and they over sauced my Korean sandwich (very good sauce, spicy) to make it a sloppy mess. Chicken and waffles seemed all texture with crispy Chicken and fluffy waffle but no real strong flavors.

Very relaxing spot! Went for dinner and the food was great (chicken sandwich and beyond burger). Bartenders were very nice and friendly. Drinks could have been a little better but everything was reasonably priced.

Very nice place. The food was really good, service amazing, I went by myself and they truly made an effort to make sure I was enjoying everything. Cocktails are very good and the space is beautiful. Really recommend it!

Excellent friendly service. Sat on the patio out back, comfortable protected space. Food was perfect. Crispy battered cauliflower was light and tasty…. Amazing.

First time we decided to go to this restaurant as it had good yelp reviews. We were welcomed and then asked if we would like indoor or outdoor seating. We sat inside where there was a nice ambiance with 80's music. We ordered chicken and waffles and bacon eggs and home fries. The chicken and waffles were very good and thee eggs bacon and home fries were average. I would recommend

I cannot recommend this place more. Their fried chicken is incredible, and pairs well with a fresh waffle. Mac and cheese so good it was like my first time, and with pesto in the bottom. The hot sauce they serve with the crispy fried cauliflower nuggets is buffalesque, but with a subtle funk so nice that it is supremely sublime. Also, the brunch punch for two comes in its own bottle, and is just as good sipped as gulped once you realize, oh yeah, I'm supposed to be doing some other stuff, too today...maybe.

The food was good and the service was good. The drinks were ok. I enjoyed the chicken but the biscuit wasn't as buttery as advertised

Ambiance has a vintage warmth with delicious eats and tasty drinks. We had brunch here on a Saturday and it was not overcrowded. Everything came out quickly, service was great. We’ll comeback again for sure! Added to my list of restaurants to frequent.

Great brunch start! The blueberry honey on the waffle is delicious. Mimosa pitcher is at least 6 drinks.

I had fried chicken (thigh & leg), with a salad. The chicken couldn't be substituted for any other parts, so I was told. It wasn't seasoned AT ALL. I put a little hot sauce on it, but I didn't care for the thick hot sauce. The salad was good, I enjoyed that. My gf had a cheese burger with fries. & she said that was okay. The patty was very thin though. There's so many restaurants in that neighborhood, with really great food. Thank goodness, we have choices, because this isn't the best restaurant in the neighborhood, in my opinion. But in all fairness. I've only been there once, & tried one thing on the menu. So, I'll probably give it another shot. Oh, the cornbread was okay.

They have a backyard which is wonderful for outdoors dining. I chose to come here on a Saturday evening with some friends. There’s about six seats in the backyard and they have about 8 to 10 tables in the restaurant itself. The host set us down immediately, just making sure that table was clean and ready for us. I have to say big props for serving stuff for serving during covid times and as soon as we sat down offered us some insect repellent for the bugs around. They also had hand sanitizer on every table. The space itself is very lovely and laid it feels like you’re in someone’s private backyard and they put up some lights and umbrellas for the heat. On to the food and drinks. we tried the st Lawrence and the garter snake as well as the watermelon supernova and deveraux spritz. I would recommend all of them depending on your tastes, they were well made and mixed. I loved the cornbread - very buttery, and the Mac and cheese - they use pesto! So delish! I also loved the green beans they add in an Asian sauce and it's divine. Would also recommend the brownie dessert very well made. I didn't really think much of my burger, I would probably recommend to get the second patty as well because it is on the smaller side but it is tasty. So overall I would recommend this place for drinks and apps and of course the necessary outdoor seating in the summer :
