I took a walking food tour of Brooklyn Heights and Dumbo with Antonio. It was wonderful, highly recommend. I’d been to Manhattan many times but it was my first visit to Brooklyn. Antonio did a nice job explaining history and describing the vibe of the various neighborhoods. Many of the places we stopped for food for small places that I may not have otherwise have known about. We sampled food from about 6 different and varied restaurants.

we had the very lovely mikayla for our Hamilton tour . It was hot and she did such an amazing job. She was extremely informative and understanding of the heat trying to seek shade where possible She was so great with a couple of kids who have seen the stage show . Hasn’t that been awesome for history lessons for generations to come !!!! We loved and highly highly recommend this tour

Erik was an absolute gem of a tour guide for our Hamilton Walking tour. We had a fantastic time learning the history of that area of Manhattan, from Bowling Green to Wall Street to Trinity Church and everything in between. It was an extensive tour that brought history right in front of us and we will always be able to point it out when we visit those areas now. Thank you so much Erik and hopefully we cross paths again for another history lesson!

We did the DUMBO food tour with Angelo and it was AMAZING! We are local New Yorkers, looking to learn more about the area and enjoy good local eats. Angelo was clearly well researched in the area- we learned so much. The food stops were delicious. High recommend this tour, especially with Angelo!

We had such a great time on our tour with Angelo! Highly recommend even for locals! Loved learning the history of a new part of Brooklyn and also tasting so many new places I’ve never tried before! Can’t wait to take another tour in the NYC area!

This trip was a follow up of the Brooklyn Bridge tour with Angelo. Jessie was a great guide who gave us all the information we needed for the trip to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis island. Upon return was what made it more fun for me. Just described as a food tour, it was actually a journey through the financial district, Wall Street, good food and more. Very nice round up to the day. Not to be missed.

We took the Hamilton tour with Sam and it was an A++ tour! Sam was friendly, knowledgeable and treated us all like dear friends. He was able to answer my many questions along the way. This tour was a great precursor to watching the Hamilton play. Thank you Sam!!

After touring Ellis Island it was a wonderful follow-up to tour the ethnic neighborhoods and lower Manhattan and learn about their growth. And the great food snacks along the way was a plus. Astrid was personable, knowledgeable and professional. Highly recommend.

I took my family on this walking foodie tour of Brooklyn as a fun idea. My daughters had asked about walking the Brooklyn Bridge, and I wanted to add a little more to it. We had an incredible time! Our guide, Angelo, was extremely knowledgeable about NYC, Brooklyn and its history and people, culture and dynamics. At times it seemed he had encyclopedic levels of knowledge. All of us loved it. Especially thoughtful was Angelo's continual support and care for our group, really going out of his way on a few occasions to ensure we were doing well and taken care of. He went above and beyond, literally running places to get the food so we could enjoy the views! I can't recommend Angelo enough. Do yourself a favor, get this tour!! Thank you Angelo! You made it special.

Had an amazing experience at the Brooklyn/Dumbo tour with Angelo! So kind, passionate and funny! The sites and stories were amazing and I may have had the best dumplings of my life on this tour too! Worth every penny!

We did the Brooklyn Heights and DUMBO food tour with Alex and it was awesome. Alex was knowledgeable and helpful. He answered any questions we had and was mindful of the cold weather by making sure we were protected from the wind and taking us inside when possible or safe. The food "tastings" were much larger portions than expected :) AND delicious. No chains. All local shops with amazing flavors. Great tour. Great bang for your buck. Very personal. :) Thanks Alex!

I took the Craft Cocktail tour with a group of friends and we had the most amazing experience with Brian! We're "local" to NYC (just over the bridge in NJ) so it was really surprising how much we learned about a city that we have all visited millions of times. The bars on the itinerary were great options to really get a local feel, it was definitely not just a loop through tourist traps!! And the drinks were REALLY good! (and a real, full-size cocktail, no sample sizes!) Not only do I plan on taking another Urban Adventures tour, but the spots we visited on this trip are definitely worthy of a return trip so I can stay longer!

If there's one tour worth doing in NY, it's this tour with Erik. In addition to knowing a lot about the subject, he teaches in an extremely didactic and playful way. I highly recommend it, it was my favorite pass.

Buyer Beware. I made an honest mistake when booking a tour in Philadelphia for what I thought was Longwood Gardens. Since I'm New York, I thought I was dealing with Longwood Gardens and that the meeting place was at the Gardens. I was actually dealing with three vendors -- We Venture, Get Your Guide and Longwood Gardens, which is quite confusing Sine I was in the wrong location,. I was unable to take the tour, which I paid almost $200 for. The tour guide called me when I did not arrive at the meeting place and I explained to him that I thought the tour began at Longwood. He apologized and said he was sure they would reimburse me. I called We Venture who repeated robotically that they had done nothing wrong and refused either a refund or tickets for another time. This is very poor customer service and I would stay away from We Venture and Get Your Guide. Longwood Gardens was very accommodating and gave me tickets for their beautiful Christmas display.

Erik was fantastic on our Lower East Side tour. His knowledge was excellent and he delivered in a really interesting way. He expressed an interest in us also. The food stops were varied and delicious. We came away extremely satisfied with the whole experience

Did the walking food and culture tour with Erik on the lower east side. He is clearly super knowledgeable about history and a foodie, too. It was fantastic! Food was great and the history was really interesting. Perfect length of time- long enough to explore a lot of town but short enough that we weren’t absolutely fried after. Be sure to bring some water with you and I would use the restroom ahead of time.

My tour guide was Alex and he was wonderful. Very knowledgeable and interesting. I was a small group. The food was great…when they say come hungry they’re not kidding. It was a nice way to see a part of Brooklyn I’ve never been to. I would definitely do another tour with this group. Highly recommended.

Timely meet up. Nice walk through several neighborhoods with good eating along the way. The things touched on by Alex our tour guide that we took note of was the history comment regarding Winston Churchill's mother, the Ellis Island history clarifications, and the Cobble Hill ship ballast connection. We wished there had been more of those. The food tastes all were delicious, mostly sweet. My husband would have enjoyed one sweet replaced with a savory. Ending with an egg cream was a hit for everyone in the tour!

Thank you Erik! We had a wonderful time on our tour. The history was fantastic and perfect for the two members of your group who had just moved to New York a few days before. The food selections were great compliments to the historical theme and Erik did a fantastic job telling New York City's story of growth, change and challenges. HIGHLY recommend this tour.

We really enjoyed our Hamilton Tour through the financial district in NYC. Ace was a wonderful guide and she showed us the spots the founding fathers once walked and lived. The tour was a great mix of Alexander Hamilton and a short living history of how New York City became the financial giant it is today. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone who has seen the play and is interested in more information or any finance geeks like myself. What an incredible way to see the city and actually know what you’re looking at.

My family went to NY for the first time and as Hamilton fans, we booked a tour through NY City Hub for a Hamilton Tour. Astrid/Ace was very professional and very knowledgeable. She was GREAT!!! Answered all our questions and not only that, we were several minutes late but she waited for us.. it was the highlight of our tour in New York. She was the BEST!!. We will surely be booking again with them for sure..

We did the Hamilton walking tour with Erik and it was fabulous. He was so knowledgeable and had many pictures to help us visualize the people, maps, and buildings that no longer were standing but were intrinsic to Hamilton's time. It was definitely one of our favorite parts of our 5 day visit to NYC and we'll look into tours in the future with this group. Thanks for a great tour, Erik!

What a great tour! We got to sample way more food than I’d anticipated, and everything was SO authentic and delicious. Alex gave us some history of Brooklyn and how it is deeply woven into the epicurean fabric of the neighborhood. Super fun.

We took a Hamilton tour around the financial district, and had a great time! Astrid was our tour guide, and she had so much great information to share, was very engaging, and even incorporated some references to the musical, which was great for Hamilton fans like us! Would definitely recommend this tour!

Hannah did an incredible job during our Hamilton tour, which came with the New York Pass. It was so worth it because you see the great places that not only connect to Alexander Hamilton, but we were also told very interesting facts about local art and buildings we passed. This is great for anyone who might know the songs, but needs more context to the story behind the musical and the major differences. It's also great for anyone who doesn't know American history. We also got a great tip to go to the American Indigenous Museum which is free to enter. Absolutely phenomenal!

We did the Hamilton Tour. Ace was our tour guide and she was excellent!! The tour was super informative and interesting. I am not a Hamilton musical super fan like my friends who I was in the tour with, but Ace kept my attention the entire time! So many fun facts! Ace was also super personable, remembering names of people in our group! I highly recommend this tour and Ace as your tour guide!

The Lower East Side Food tour with Erik was awesome! Way better than we were hoping for. The food was great but the real treat was all the history and stories about the different neighborhoods and pop culture associated with each one. The background and history of each of the shops we ate at made the food extra special. So fun to hear it from someone who actually lived in the neighborhoods we walked through. Definitely would take a tour with Erik again.

We had the most fantastic walking and foodie tour of the Lower East Side! Erik was super knowledgeable, thoughtful, and kind. From his engaging history lessons, sharing little known tidbits about the neighborhood, and selecting amazing food stops - he truly knows his stuff and genuinely enjoys what he does. Don't miss this great opportunity to get to know a tiny piece of NYC with Erik!

My family loves doing food tours so whenever they come to visit me in the city we always book one. We did the Lower East Side tour and Brian was our guide. He had incredible knowledge of the area and all the different foods we tried. Brian made us feel very comfortable since we are still in Covid and made each of us feel welcome. Food tours are such as wonderful way to view the city, learn about the history, and try some delicious food, even if you are a local like me! Thank you Brian!!

We had a great time on our food tour of DUMBO. Angelo was an excellent guide and shared interesting local history as well as giving us a flavor of the neighborhood. It’s such a unique area. We really enjoyed getting to know it. Would definitely recommended this tour and Angelo!

We had an absolutely incredible food/cultural tour of the Lower East Side ("NYC: The Story of Lower East Side's Food Culture"). Our guide Erik was passionate and knowledgeable and overall amazing despite the cold day - he even accommodated tricky dietary preferences. The mix of history and food was perfect. I had booked a private tour for my parents and friends who were from out of town visiting New York and honestly I could not have asked for anything better.

We had the most wonderful day and our guide was fabulous both in knowledge and personality. Our Guide did go the extra mile for us on our private tour. Thank you Andy Maunder for organising and setting us up with an excellent guide.
