Horrifying. The place is completely out dated. Although, it's nice and clean. The concierge are absolutely rude and unprofessional. Arriving to visit my friend and I don't even get greeted. You do need a key to get up on elevator. When I asked someone at the desk this guy stared down at me towering over me and the female attendant stated that they will not contact my friend because it's 1150pm on memorial weekend. Seriously?!?... my leg wanted to break itself to stop me from entering the that thing. I was getting warned, but I wouldn't listen. Not worth the money.

If it is ok for a luxury apartment, then I just have no comments .... special thanks to the administration for the terrible service

I honestly wasn't sure of what to expect, but I needed a nice hotel within close distance and the price was right. I had a very nice stay. We got a 1 bedroom suite, which came with a fully equipped kitchen (stove, sub-zero fridge, sink, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, and even dishwasher). Room was very pleasant and scrupulously clean. It was very quiet even though we were only on the 3rd floor; couldn't hear much street noise at all. Bed was comfortable and the bathroom was luxurious. Staff were welcoming and attentive. Restaurant (Nougatine) downstairs is excellent.

After having stayed at the Trump International Hotel for 2 nights and also reading the comments, I feel like the hotel I visited was in a different dimension. I’m wondering if certain reviews reflect more their opinions about the man who’s name resides on the building instead of the hotel itself. Because let me say this - the hotel is spectacular. I surprised my girl with a suite experience for Valentines Day and we loved it so much we extended for another night. We stayed in a one bedroom suite thatxxxx. had a working kitchen, dining area, living room, separate bedroom and bathroom. All of the rooms boast floor to ceiling windows and the view we had from the 16th floor facing south and west was spectacular. The room itself is finely appointed but not snobby. The furniture is functional and comfortable. The service was excellent. We had breakfast via room service one morning and although everything was brought in to-go boxes, they were the classiest to go packaging I have ever seen. The experience is not cheap, but I still felt the value proposition relative to other 5 star hotels in NYC is definitely there. For example, The Conrad Midtown and The Park Hyatt are both 5 star hotels that are close by The Trump and both have a similar price points, but I would choose Trump International.

From the moment we stepped onto the property, we were greeted by the warm and friendly staff. Hot towelettes were provided for our hands as we were checked into our room. Also, special consideration was given as we were anniversary. The room was lovely - well deserving of the 5 star status. Simply put, this property delivered on every level. We will be returning with our business most definitely!

Awful customer service and a very rude receptionist… went there to have a room for the night I was staying in the city and preferred to walk away and use one of the apps to find a hotel right away… people don’t spend money in a hotel with this great location to be encountered by such a rude receptionist…

My family and I absolutely loved staying here. The room was perfect with lots of space and had everything we could have possibly needed. The best thing about our stay was the staff, which went above and beyond for us. They were so friendly, accommodating and helpful. Beautiful room views, delicious in room breakfast, wonderful amenities. We would absolutely stay here again when visiting NYC!

Excellent stay. We’ve been to many 5 stars hotels and this is one of the very best. Staff was friendly and professional, location was excellent, and the gym has every equipments you may need. An attendant actually walked around and handed us water. Great pool too.

We have been treated like nobodies. Our Park view room was a tree view room. 3rd floor should not be sold as a Park View. We have been cold all night long. The water of the shower was not warm enough. We asked for a reimboursement of 2 nights on 3 leaving after the first night and the deal we have been proposed was to pay 2 nights on 3 while staying just one. That is a shame !! I will never go back to one of the Trump hotel. Will never use again my Trump Card. We have finsihed our stay in NYC 20 metres from this hotel. The Mandarin was just amazing.

I love going to this hotel. My favorite amenity is the public restrooms. They change the toilet paper when it runs out and sometimes they have paper towels when I wash my hands but sometimes they don't have paper towels when I wash my hands

After 2 days here I will update my review to 5 stars. Location is great. Subway is about 50 feet away at 59th street and Columbus circle. They even had a little gift pack for our 10yo.

Fantastic location, rooms and most of the staff are friendly, welcoming, helpful and professional. Save a few door staff, front desk employees and the european lady who eventually checked me in after my room very disappointingly and frustratingly was initially not ready by the check-in time of 4pm. No explaination, apology or ETA was offered. No warm drink, hot towel etc. The european lady I mentioned above, could not even tell me roughly when the room might be ready... even 2 & 3* hotels don't mess this up and handle situations with more grace, professionalism and care for their guests. Not expected for a 5* hotel. The same lady suggested I either wait in the Lobby for an unspecified amount of time, or go elsewhere and take a few laps of the block! I eventually was able to check-in and carried my bags up to my room myself to be able to access what I needed without waiting. Room was large and well-equipped with two large closets, a nice kitchenette and reasonable-sized bathroom with proper bath. Bed and pillows were soft. Pillows especially which felt like they had down fillings rather than microfibre or something more supportive. It does get a little loud at times due to the busy nearby area - Broadway, Columbus Circle etc. And also bright at night. If I stayed again, I would upgrade to the Park View Suite or similar in advance. This option was not available due to occupancy around the NYC Marathon weekend I was told. The Spa and Gym were very well-equipped and staff were fantastic - Kyle especially as he went out of his way to welcome me, give me a quick tour of the facilities and talk for a little while. Apart from Norman on the front desk, the majority of the staff and their service felt cold, mostly uninterested and they weren't overly accomodating, helpful or professional I felt - This became quickly apparent when I asked for minor, fairly standard things like being able to leave a small drop bag with reception around the 5km & NYC Marathon weekend. The front desk initially didn't understand why this might be necessary and what I was asking for, but I managed to sort this out after some time. I didn't get the opportunity to experience the restaurant/room service or bar much unfortunately so can't comment there. Overall an okay and satisfactorily comfortable stay, but service and experience not quite as expected from the brand and position/price of this property. I wouldn't rush back to the Trump over other properties unless there was either a very good promo or specific reason to stay here again.

Great views over the central park and next to John Lennon memorial. Ideal place to visit in the summer. I like it

The service was great from all of the staff. And the location is great for traveling about the city. But the room and kitchenette was not as advertised.

John, Joe, & all the hotel personnel were nothing but professional, kind, very helpful, and respectful. They maybe big guys but they are gental giants who are there for the guests.

Amazing how good it is-- service, room, location. One of the best values in NYC.

5 star, I had a beautiful 1 bedroom suite with beautiful views of the city and park. The staff was so friendly. My only complaint was the food wasn't that good for room service and they should remodel the rugs.
