Edit:
what
a
snarky
response.
Thanks/no
thanks.
Went
for
a
weekend
for
a
milestone
birthday
and
it
didn’t
really
meet
our
expectations.
Our
“river
view”
room
actually
faced
downtown
(you
could
*see*
the
river
if
you
squeezed
down
to
one
side
of
the
window…)
and
we
had
to
request
privacy
panels
for
the
bathroom-
which
are
supposed
to
be
part
of
the
upgraded
room
we
chose-
and
a
maintenance
guy
brought
up
a
cheap
shower
curtain
on
a
tension
rod,
stepped
into
the
tub
in
his
work
shoes
to
hang
it,
and
that
was
that.
I’m
pretty
positive
we
had
a
lesser
room
than
we
paid
for,
but
couldn’t
be
bothered
to
fight
about
it.
Additionally,
my
boyfriend
tried
to
arrange
some
kind
of
surprise
in
the
room
for
our
arrival
(flowers,
champagne,
etc)
and
the
hotel
told
him
they
“don’t
do
that”.
Judging
by
other
reviews,
they
do.
The
lobby
is
a
whole
other
story…
it’s
more
club
kid
than
chic.
And
speaking
of
clubs,
THERE
IS
ONE
ON
THE
ROOF.
It’s
open
until
4am,
so
reserve
with
caution.
Cool
elevators,
though.
The
High
Line
and
Chelsea
Market
are
great.
