Forest Hills is a great concert location. I went to see AJR on 5/21 and sat in section 801 row D. It fits 12,000 people and they offer a variety of food options (including gluten-free and vegetarian). You are not allowed to bring water into the venue but they have water fountains that you can use for free. I will say the fountains were hard to find but one of their many staff members can help you find it. Also, bathrooms were surprisingly clean and they had a lot of food options (though I recommend coming early since my sister waited over 30 minutes on the burger line).

Lovely venue for live music in Queens. Small enough to be intimate. Big enough to rock. Saw the Yeah Yeah Yeahs in October 2022, and even in the rain, it was awesome!!

Reviewing this venue as a concert venue. What an amazing place to see a concert here in the summer! They have Stadium seats as well as a general admission floor. It’s an open air venue so obviously be prepared if things go south weather wise but with summer weather here it’s absolutely amazing to have a venue like this with so much character and history surrounding it! They have drink vendors that actually go through the stands and down on the GA floor which is a first for me at a concert! Also, they have a wide selection of food. One thing I noticed is they have elote (Mexican street corn)! How often do you see that at a venue like this? That’s something one would see at a festival! I went here to see AJR on the 21st of May and just recently saw The Lumineers. The sound technicians and front of house staff really do an excellent job of mixing and audio quality for every performance even for the opening acts! Many transportation options there from the subway to LIRR. Probably one of the easiest venues I’ve been to thats highly accessible! Overall Great Venue! Make a point to see at least one show here!

Best outdoor music venue in NY. I live on Long Island, and I've always loved concerts at Jones Beach - but the sound at Jones sucks. When I saw my first concert here in summer 2022, I knew it'd be my new favorite outdoor venue. Great location with train stations within 2-blocks walking distance, easy entry/exit, and great food and drink options. But the sound!!! The sound is incredible, as it was built to host tennis events. Think about how that bowl-like structure amplifies sneaker screeches and ball bounces, and then think of your favorite band playing to you seated anywhere in the stadium. Incredible. I went to 3 shows this summer (2023) and thinking about closing it out with Jungle on Sept 30th, just to savor this venue!

Super cool venue in the middle of a neighborhood!! Came here for the first time to see Fred again and I was blown away by my experience. It's an open venue so be prepared. It's best to commute by train if you're coming to this venue. If you plan to drive you can find plenty of parking around the neighborhood but it takes time to find. The train would be the easiest and it's barely a walk to the venue. I didn't know this when I bought tickets but there is a bowl section, which is the upper level. Seats are first come first serve in the bowl section. And then there's the general admission, which is just a big open floor by the stage.

Great venue for concerts but the top seats are benches so prepare yourself your back may start hurting. Parking is tough because it's permit, residential and meter parking only unless you park in a lot. Drinks and food are pricey. I recommend you eat beforehand.

Saw Queens of the Stone Age for my first time at Forest Hills Stadium. It's a very cool place to explore. The place is packed with history and just has a really cool vibe to it. There's a ton of different food options and places scattered throughout to have a drink. I particularly liked the Gray Whale Gin deck for a cocktail before the show. The suites are all speakeasy themed, but unless you have a suite ticket, you can't really check them out. It would be cool if they had one or two for the public. Bathrooms were clean, and there were enough where you didn't have a long line to wait in. Had general admission for the show, and the floor was easily accessible. The audio sounded great, and overall, it was a great show. Will definitely be checking the lineup for Forest Hills Stadium for a return in, hopefully, the not so distant future.

Went as a music venue to enjoy the Rock The Bells concert. Has a lot of space and height. Bathrooms are located well. The staff was friendly, just always remember to screenshot your ticket, via they can’t remember your face, as the venue holds a lot of people. I would definitely recommend. If you see a concert pops up here… please go. Show up 20 mins for the show, tons of parking and also it’s located 1 block away from a train station. Parking may be 2 blocks to 3 blocks, but it will be safe and secure when you get out the concert or event. Amazing & Authentic reviews only by myself… if you want the real deal, I got the facts. :).

My son and I attended a Lord Huron concert at this outdoor venue. I really enjoyed the facility. We had good seats but because of the tennis stadium bones, the view probably wasn't as good as the general admission floor. Oh well, it was a great show on a beautiful night, hard to complain! Getting the train back to the city was fun after the show as well, we took it to Penn Station which is another cool experience to do.

The courtyard was awesome, the very vocal (necessary) attendants moving people along was excellent, and their ADA assistants were courteous. Getting to that part of Queens is a breeze for Newark. A one-stop train to Penn Station, then the LIRR to the venue. My teenager and I had a blast, separately, of course (can you imagine being seen with your parent(s) at a Clairo + boygenius concert). 😒🙄 I know, I'm not supposed to use emojis anymore! A once in a lifetime concert made even better by a lot of the staff and the EMTs 🦷

Oh boy, having spent most concerts at Brooklyn steel, baby’s all right, terminal five and msg this was a true joy. It’s like an adorable commune: grass, games, space, you can even hear crickets! Part was definitely the Fleet Fox crowd isn’t your house party gang but damn this stadium is awesome. It’s so peaceful. All staff was kind, all facilities welcoming, a truly beautiful nice day venue. We’ll find an artist, or new found love tennis just to to return.

Very relaxed, many great food options (not too expensive). Keep in mind that most bowl seats are metal bleachers without back rests. If you want chairs with back support, go for sections 401, 501, 601, 701 or any seats on the floor (as detailed on their website)

Went to see Arctic Monkeys in September. Great food and drink options. There isn’t really a bad seat in the entire place. My only gripe is the limited exit staircases if you’re in the seated area, way too many people trying to get down safely.

Truly a venue that goes under the radar unless you’ve actually been; it’s one of my FAVES! Beautiful amphitheater vibe and no matter where you are, you will have a great sound experience. So many food vendors, free water refills (bring empty reusable or unopened plastic), and beverages. I wish they actually had warm beverage options; imagine hot cider! Saw one of my favorite bands here: JUNGLE and many many years ago: disclosure.

Spacious arena and friendly staff. Very chill vibe. My friend and I came here for a concert when it was pouring rain and unfortunately, they do have a no umbrella policy, but that did not keep us from having a great time. Bathrooms were not super clean but it was apparent that staff were constantly working hard to keep them as clean as possible. Pro tip: This used to be where they hosted the U.S. Open, just to give you a feel for the stadium vibe. All in all, I would come back to the stadium for a concert.

Love this stadium. Located in the gorgeous, historical Forest Hills, this is both large but somehow intimate venue that’s hosted a range of artists, from the legends like the Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan and Cher to the lesser-known new-comers. Last time I was there I saw a British band, Jungles, and it was fantastic. I don’t dance and I danced. Looking forward to attending more events.

Went for Head in the clouds day 2 and I enjoyed it. It was tiring when I wanted to switch stages, espically with the stairs to enter the stadium. I didn't get to eat because I heard the food was expensive, $20 for a small bowl of food. I did bring a small snack, rice crispy treat but it wasn't allowed in which sucks but I guess. I also didn't get to see what else was around since I wanted to keep my front row seat. When the seats were full, security wouldn't let you in (this was for XG) you can enter floor until the set finished. Leaving the stadium, there were metro north staff ready to check tickets before heading in the station. I lined up at 12pm doors opened at 2pm, took 20 minutes to enter.

Very nice venue and pretty decently organized. I like the outside bowl seating and drink stands are everywhere without a line (can’t say the same for merchandise). Look forward to the next event here. (I saw King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard)

One of the COOLEST concert venues I’ve ever been to. So cool to be in the open air and see the sunrise behind the stadium. Only complain is I wish they had the sound a little louder - but understandable for being smack dab in the middle of a neighborhood.

Very cool venue. Some bleachers seating, some chair backs, and general admission ok a tennis court. Very fun. Some obstructed view with the lighting poles...manageable!

Very little here to disappoint. We had the cheapest seats and yet still felt like we were part of the gig. Getting to and from the venue was incredibly easy and finding our seats was similarly straightforward. The one complaint of note is likely a fault of having to accept sponsorship like all these places - their supposed craft beer selection led with Stella in a can for $15. I couldn’t decide whether to laugh or cry. So I just didn’t drink.

Great venue for a concert. Over the course of the summer they have something for everyone. Tucked in a residential neighborhood so the music stops promptly at 10pm. Street parking only and parking is tough. Lots of food and drink options on site.

Saw lord huron here and it was a great size. Every seat has a good angle to view the stage. I actually think sitting straight infront of the stage would be the furthest. But of course there is the actual standing area if you'd rather not sit. Will definitely be returning for more concerts and events.

Great venue for a concert. We saw Van Morrison and Tom Jones with a large Saturday crowd and the overall experience was great. They had a very efficient entry system with plenty of lines for bag search and ticket scanning so there wasn't a bottle neck going in. Once inside there was a huge variety of food and drink vendors and a large open area so you didn't feel too crowded. The green seats with backs were comfortable and it looks like they offered an upgraded seat back for the bleachers but I'm not sure how much extra that costs. The staff was friendly and helpful, and there were plenty of them. This is definitely one of the best venues of this size I've seen a concert at.
