The rudest store employees I have ever encountered in my life. I worked for Prada as a Buyer years ago. I stopped in to show my family the store and tell them a little about the architecture. The employees were insanely rude and we all felt so uncomfortable. Really, the company should get rid of every one of them and start over. Terrible. I’ll take my business elsewhere.

I wanted to buy sunglasses.. but the people looked at me very weird. They people who worked there were extremely rude. I had gone to target before I entered the store to get some aspirin for my headache.. they gave me a very disapproving look while eyeing my target bag and It became very clear to me they did not think I had the money to buy anything in their store. I really don’t understand why the people had to be so rude. Buying something at Prada should be a nice experience especially since you’re about to spend a bit more money.

Purchased a very expensive jacket and they didn’t take the sensor off. I went back and their customer service was lackluster and not very accommodating for the inconvenience they caused. I was expecting more from a high end brand like Prada.

The discrimination and racial profiling I experienced today at this Prada store is astounding. I'm still in disbelief. I actually questioned them because why would I dare to think that in 2023 they would know better. I got to the door of the store I was alone and there was nobody in a line to get into the store. As I went to open the door the security at the entrance wouldn't let me in. Told me I needed to wait for an associate to come and get me and bring me into the store. Ok that's weird I thought but I figured that's their process weird as it sounded. I waited a few minutes then I asked him again why I couldn't just wait in the store. Why do I have to wait outside a store in which I could potentially be spending my money. It was a very icky feeling as he insisted that I needed to wait for an associate. Just as he was telling me that she came and fetched me and I asked her why I couldn't at least be allowed in the store. She apologized (fake apology of course) as she explained that it was the stores policy. Policy gor black people? I asked in my head. Then I thought nah it can't be. Anyways I went with her half heartedly no longer fully interested in shopping in the store as she took me to where the shoes were. They didn't have the size I was looking for a saving grace actually because i wasn't sure I wanted to give this despicable people my hard earned money any more, I left the store and as I got to the door there were small groups of shoppers literally being allowed in the store no questions asked and they didn't look like me. Smh that's when I confirmed that this is a policy only for a type of people. Prada Soho New York you should be embarrassed and ashamed of yourselves. I will never wear anything Prada on my body and no black people should really but oh well. Never again

There is no service at this store. I have been a Prada customer for years and have never experience such a passive, uninterested and rude staff as at the Prince street location. This is deff not up to the service level as other Prada stores in Europe. Not strange that I have not seen a single person coming out of the store carrying a purchase. Do not waste your time even coming into this store, buy at Prada somewhere else.

I came there with my Prada sandals where the sole fell apart after regular wear for about a year. They wanted to charge me $80-130 for repair, and said it would take 6-8 weeks. Seriously? You can’t handle a free replacement of your sandal’s sole? The assistant said it’s not her rules and that I can do whatever I want. I’m not buying Prada anymore 🤡

I bought many products in Prada and absolutely it is my favorite brand. But I think the SERVICE I received this time was totally RIDICULOUS I went to refund or exchange my item in soho location. but one of employee (employee name is Edward tuason) responded with unbelievable bad service and bad tone that quite troublesome. When I asked something, that answer was ‘hey im doing this so wait’ ‘go take a look~’ something like this. Price or money is not the problem, but I think the service should be great in one of luxury brand Prada. I decided not to refund item this location because I got terrible service. so he just kinda throw the item to me and I took it back. He was the worst service I've ever received from a any kind of brand. it is impossible to understand how to respond to customers in luxury brand Prada. They need to teach how to act to customers first

We went there a couple days back to buy a few Christmas gifts which needed to be shipped and we were told those would be shipped overnight. As it’s a Christmas present and the return policy for in-store doesn’t cover actual Christmas Day, we decided to cancel and order it online, but the worker at the store stopped responding to emails and the package has not even arrived yet. What’s with this poor service and the so called ‘overnight’ shipping the my supposedly said would sent it with??

I gave them 4 stars because the SA we got were nice and professional. We were 3 of us and my friend was interested in buying the bag. The SA patiently gave my friend to try the bag and usefully suggested what bag she match with. We were enjoying about decorating of big store and the service. Even we ended up didn't buy anything but the SA still good with us.

VERY RUDE doorman and a terrible service today. I’ve been a Prada customer for years and I’ve never been in a store this disappointing. The interior is beautiful but overall service is terrible. You get better ones from Zara and that’s saying something.

The attitude of the sales people needs to be adjusted, you can’t even get a sales person to help you try on your size without giving so much attitude, I asked for a size 7 in black loafers, telling me the shoe is “right there” when it’s the display shoe. I was asking for a size 7 to try on. The salesperson didn’t give it to me and wanted me to try the display… So I went ahead and did that. I’ve never seen workers so disinterested in their own job, perhaps it’s time to find a different job where you can actually be happy Edward J. Tuason. If you are reading this, I could care less as I’m speaking from my observation. No customer will buy from this store if the sales people give such a snobby stand-off ish attitude. If you want to purchase Prada and actually receive better customer service, I highly recommend the flagship store in 5th Ave. They provide beverages while you wait and shop and even gave me chocolates as courtesy for waiting for my order to be packed up. I don’t understand why Filipino people need to act this way, the crab mentality has to stop. I have shopped in many luxury stores but never have been treated this way until I encountered this particular sales associate. I mean your job is literally to help customers and sell the item… how hard is that.

The store clerks were intimidating but the decor and presentation was out of this world.

Terrible experience. Waited in shoes for 45 minutes and was not asked if I needed a size a single time. Employee made direct eye contact multiple times and chose to ignore me. Store was almost completely empty on a Monday morning. Will be going out of my way to shop at another location going forward despite living within a 3 block radius of this store.

Was in the fifth avenue store the day previously and received amazing attentive and friendly customer service, come in today to the soho store and it took a good few minutes to find a staff member to help and they just seemed not to care. In a shop with such pricey items the least you can expect is staff to be ready to help when needed rather than have you stood looking around for minutes like your lost.

Happy to be able to visit NY again and shop in Soho! Luckily for us we picked a Monday as our trip shopping day because the lines were manageable. Once we made it inside, a security guard pointed us in the direction of an employee to escort us around which seemed a little strange/excessive at first but they said it’s mandatory since Covid. This store is massive so it was nice to have someone there to show us around. It was like having our very own personal shopper! I ended up buying a new crossbody bag and will definitely be back on my next NYC trip. :)

Had amazing time shopping at this location. I was looking for a variety of different loafers that were all available at the story and was impressed with the level of inventory and choices in stock. Benjamin assisted me in picking out my Prada loafers and provided great service throughout my visit.

I had an amazing experience with Paul! I have a memory of a goldfish so I don't remember the name of the bag I wanted and he was able to get me the bag right away! Seems like every luxury store in NYC require an associate to follow you at all time, but Paul definitely gave me and my husband some space to browse around! ☺️

Early this evening I had to wait until a security guard opened the door to enter the store. Thereafter, a sales associate followed me to the shoe department and other sections on the lower level of the store. I felt like a criminal. I've gone to Prada for years. However, I've only been in the store once since the Covid lockdown ended. Last summer a sales person asked if I needed help, I replied no. He followed me down the stairs, but he didn't track me the entire time. I won't be back. It will be long time before I ever buy a Prada product.

Don’t say you close at 7 if you close at 6:30. Raf and Miuccia’s Prada this store ain’t. What a seriously flawed presentation of Prada for what I can assume is the only experience some people may ever have if visiting nyc. I know Prada is better than this - the Calvin Klein store improved under Raf’s direction…when will that happen here?

I went in looking for a bag. Taylor was an amazing associate to work with! He was very kind and approachable, was respectful of my budget, and helped me find the perfect purse to fit my style. The store itself is gorgeous.

Beautiful location and interior design of the store. However they decided.. just like other high end designer brands.. to not mark the prices anymore. That’s so incredibly annoying. I went in and out again and I’ll stay out and order online. There at least I see what it costs.
