The
discrimination
and
racial
profiling
I
experienced
today
at
this
Prada
store
is
astounding.
I'm
still
in
disbelief.
I
actually
questioned
them
because
why
would
I
dare
to
think
that
in
2023
they
would
know
better.
I
got
to
the
door
of
the
store
I
was
alone
and
there
was
nobody
in
a
line
to
get
into
the
store.
As
I
went
to
open
the
door
the
security
at
the
entrance
wouldn't
let
me
in.
Told
me
I
needed
to
wait
for
an
associate
to
come
and
get
me
and
bring
me
into
the
store.
Ok
that's
weird
I
thought
but
I
figured
that's
their
process
weird
as
it
sounded.
I
waited
a
few
minutes
then
I
asked
him
again
why
I
couldn't
just
wait
in
the
store.
Why
do
I
have
to
wait
outside
a
store
in
which
I
could
potentially
be
spending
my
money.
It
was
a
very
icky
feeling
as
he
insisted
that
I
needed
to
wait
for
an
associate.
Just
as
he
was
telling
me
that
she
came
and
fetched
me
and
I
asked
her
why
I
couldn't
at
least
be
allowed
in
the
store.
She
apologized
(fake
apology
of
course)
as
she
explained
that
it
was
the
stores
policy.
Policy
gor
black
people?
I
asked
in
my
head.
Then
I
thought
nah
it
can't
be.
Anyways
I
went
with
her
half
heartedly
no
longer
fully
interested
in
shopping
in
the
store
as
she
took
me
to
where
the
shoes
were.
They
didn't
have
the
size
I
was
looking
for
a
saving
grace
actually
because
i
wasn't
sure
I
wanted
to
give
this
despicable
people
my
hard
earned
money
any
more,
I
left
the
store
and
as
I
got
to
the
door
there
were
small
groups
of
shoppers
literally
being
allowed
in
the
store
no
questions
asked
and
they
didn't
look
like
me.
Smh
that's
when
I
confirmed
that
this
is
a
policy
only
for
a
type
of
people.
Prada
Soho
New
York
you
should
be
embarrassed
and
ashamed
of
yourselves.
I
will
never
wear
anything
Prada
on
my
body
and
no
black
people
should
really
but
oh
well.
Never
again
