Was hoping to be blown away by a number of outdoor sculptures but when I arrived, it was a small park with not many sculptures and the ones that were there weren't super interesting of eye-catching. Bathrooms available in the summer are nice although no hand sanitizer anywhere. Some benches in the shade although the bench near the trash can meant flies kept coming over and disturbing the peace. Overall wouldn't visit again.

Such a great place to bring your dog and be able to get them to socialize. First time going and being introduced. There’s the little beach area if your dog wants to jump in the water and cool off, and there’s also this really cute dog cafe across the street to grab a bite to eat.

I’ll be honest. Socrates Sculpture Park is one of the biggest reasons why I moved to the area. It’s always clean, the staff is friendly, the view is nice, the events are great, and the exhibits have always been worth checking out.

Smaller than you’d imagine but definitely makes up for it with personality! Check out online for events they host and when! You can see the Roosevelt Island Lighthouse and so much more on the other side of the river!

Unfortunately, not many sculptures. Some are broken and incomplete. When it rains it's incredibly muddy since a good majority of the park is not paved properly.....in some areas at all. Such a shame for a park that has been here this long. There is not even a restroom and it's not wheelchair accessible.

I love this park. It's less traveled than Astoria Park, it has new sculptures and installments quite often and they also have a market on Saturdays. (I highly recommend checking out Sundae Fundae for amazing dairy based and vegan and/or gluten free treats and ice cream! You'll never be able to tell!!) They also have weekend events, a book drop and a place you can grill!

Was a bit disappointed. Must be between installations. Not much to see, but it was a gorgeous day and any green space by the water is always a bonus. Landed me quite close to the ferry terminal so I ventured onto the boat & headed downtown. Will visit again in spring/summer!!

Cute hidden gem! I never even knew about this park until my friend had to wait an hour to fix her titles with Costco. So we waited and killed some time relaxing and munching on some food in the park. Definitely relaxing and nice to walk in.

Small free park with some open space and a few sculptures. Arrived here at about 2pm on a nice Sunday and was able to get street parking about 2 blocks away. A bunch of people laid out on the open space on beach/park towels or lawn chairs. Not too much else to do or see...unless they hold events there.

A nice park overall but it is not well kept, it is bugs and mosquitos infested. It has become disgusting and quite frankly the sculptures aren’t something to be awed at.

2 stars because i came for the sculptures and art installations and there werent any. I shouldve double checked the website and i would've seen they are in between exhibits. It was a nice relaxing time to get away from the city, there are nice waterfront views. I just made the trip out here for nothing. So if you're going because you want to see any of the structures and art, just check the website first.

What a beautiful surprise! Only a short walk from the Noguchi gallery. Take a walk or have a picnic and enjoy the art and waterfront!

Really lovely place with great views, amazing cherry trees and other beautiful flora. Needs city support to improve and should be expanded. The sculptures are forgetable compared to botanical Nature.
