Beautiful place to hangout at. Pier 26 is full of relaxing time you can give. There is a rooftop bar over there and also many benches to sit and relax! There is a garden, swings, skating ring, vollyball net, basketball ring available there. You can go to run around that area. There is also available free kayaking which is open till 4, you can kayak for 30 mins and there are no charges. They give u keys for the locker and also they will ask you to sign the consent form and also make sure you know how to swim. Its a fun place to be specially during summer

Great addition to the waterfront. So much greenery and fantastic views of the financial district. LOTS of seating and loungers. Great space to rest in the sun or shade.

Very unique transformation of this pier into a relaxing park with chairs benches and "beach style" chairs to relax. It's like being on the ocean without the motion sickness. Really enjoyable. And also they rent out kayaks here.

During the summer months, kayaking around pier 26 is a great idea!!!! We went there on a Saturday morning and, although there were a few locals around, there were plenty of kayaks for us to stay in the river for as long as we wanted. The area where you are allowed to kayak is signalled with buoys, which makes it a safe and very pleasant leisure time activity, and for free!!! The view of the Financial Center from the water is amazing!! Great assistance from the people in charge!! There are lockers for you to leave your belongings.

Absolutely astounding park on the Hudson! No better way to showcase New York City's wealth than to splurge on a park with so many extravagant amenities. I enjoy living here because of the many wonderful amenities such as these!

We’ve been to Manhattan a good dozen times and yet there is always something new to see. We stumbled upon this park by chance and is was fantastic! Great sights, nice nature spots and doesn’t feel too crowded by tourists.

This is a great place for city dwellers and tourists alike. Wonderful river views and views of west side of the city and the World Trade Center. Great spot for relaxing and getting away from the crowds. Creative planted trees and shrubs mixed with wooden benches, lounge chairs and even swings for couples nestled among the vegetation. Similar to the Highline. Kid’s playground with water effects, skatepark and mini golf are all nearby.

Wonderful new pier on the Hudson. It’s great that the Hudson River Park is restoring and converting all of these piers from 57th street down to Battery Park City into parks for people to relax and look out at the river and watch the sunset setting over New Jersey and reconnecting New Yorkers to the water

Very good for sight seeing. This pier offers free kayaking on some days during the summer as well. Best time to visit is around the time where the sun will set to get an amazing view of the scenery.

Perfect place for a family outing (with kids). They have a specific playing area that is netted around that is perfect for kids to play soccer, basketball without having the worry of them falling off the pier or get lost. There is also two swinging benches perfect to lullaby a kid for their nap time or for kids to enjoy a mini swing experience. The view is absolutely breathtaking, you are able to see the Freedom tower as well as the Statue of Liberty from afar. Also, the perfect date spot to experience the sunset with the view overlooking NJ.

I went here for kayaking and the views were super nice. The organization that runs the kayaking place is super cool. The workers and staff there are very helpful and nice. Overall this is a great way to spend summers in NY.

Excellent spot for a respite. Great views of the harbor. Also, perfect for people-watching while lounging on a chair, recliner, or even the grass. If you find yourself in search of excitement, the volleyball courts, Skateboard park, kayaking and kids' playground will probably hit the spot. Restrooms, water fountains and places to grab a bit to eat are also nearby.

i think its one of the best piers if not the one. It is so cool they even have swings. though they sound rusty sometimes. it has a cool deck at its tip on the Hudson. would recommend.

Free public kayaking during the summer is pretty friggin radical. If you’re lucky, you can catch some gnarly swells from the passing boats and shred some hang time before heading back in.

This is a final skateboard park. Little small, but people here seem very polite and they are okay if you are just getting started in the sport.

My first time there.... Its a beautiful view and brunch at City Vineyard was really good - Truffle fries and Kung Pao Cauliflower. My friend unfortunately got a 'present' on tge hood of his coat from a low-flying pigeon that I dodged swiftly and of course thats not the pier's fault, as hilarious as it was. Great way to spend a warmer-than usual February afternoon. The only restrooms are in the restaurant, so there's that.

This is a pretty place in the city. They have free kayaking and beautiful scenery. I saw a group have a wedding on the Pier taking advantage of the Pier 26 natural beauty. They have public restrooms and a changing area for people using the kayak. Moreover, they have free sunscreen too.

Went free kayaking here. The line was long but the workers were nice and seemed happy to be there providing a great experience to the people kayaking. The views during sunset were very scenic but they cut off the line behind us so it is better to get there earlier. The water did not feel that gross and they have a hose to use after you get out.

This place next to Pier 25 is designed very well to complement the view of the river, coastline and city all in one.. The deck looks great and I am sure it will be popular when the sun is out. Nice place to bring the family, quiet stroll, to enjoy the views and contemplate on your own thoughts. Great place!,

Pier 26 is one of those places you have to see for yourself. It's an impressive design public space. I love the swings, in particular, the sunbathing chairs, 180-degree view of the Hudson, multiple layers sectional, and the elevations that change your viewing angle. Check out the shots below to get a feel for the place.
