Just a small lovely park. Be sure to read the rules, no pets, there is no internet, and other things to consider. There is a small cafe in the park. The prices of items are pretty reasonable and the food is good! The chairs are not the most comfortable to sit on so it is not the ideal place to work at. I think it is a great location for a lunch break or a quick meet-up.

A beautiful little park hidden between buildings. The waterfall is so calming and there is a lot of seating and a little cafe within the park. A nice spot to bring your lunch and just relax, it’s very quiet as well. Just the sound of the waterfall. Can’t wait for my next time there!

My husband and I got engaged here in 2021 and it’s a beautiful little park nestled in the heart of NYC. It’s quiet and has some seating and had a little stand at the time that served drinks and light food. It’s a beautiful park with a wonderful waterfall! (Excuse our awkward engagement photos haha)

A small park with a peaceful environment for relaxation and meditation. I was amazed by the waterfall. There's a bar where you can get something to drink such as juice, punch and stuff.

I love running around New York City but sometimes in the middle of all the crazy you need a moment to reset and collect yourself before getting back out into the intense rhythm that can be Midtown Manhattan. Greenacre Park is unique in that it has beautiful waterfalls at the back of the park. The water creates a sound bath and buffers the street noise. The inset cafe is a super bonus, and there are tables and chairs for outdoor dining. I enjoy the multiple levels of outdoor seating as it allows for privacy while still enjoying the occasional people watching. I like to come here to do Zoom call meetings, catch up with friends, and enjoy the best bagels in the city from Ess-a-bagel around the corner. It’s quiet, serene, and I always leave feeling refreshed. Cheers💛

Amazing park in the heart of Manhattan! A beautiful place to escape the chaos and hustling of New York City for a quick break! There is beautiful scenery, lovely plants and trees, and an absolutely gorgeous waterfall. It is truly amazing that this is in the middle of the city! I highly recommend going here for a quick break! They have tables and chairs to accommodate for lunch breaks as well!

What a fabulous find! This is the greatest retreat, when you wish to get away from the craziness of the city, but still remain the city. This is a fantastic place to read, have lunch, meet up with someone, or visit solo and just take in the relaxing sounds of the waterfall. It completely drowns out the usual noise of Manhattan. You immediately become relaxed when visiting. I suggest if you wish to eat, bring food from surrounding area restaurants there is a small kiosk that sells food and beverages , and while the beverages were fine. I wasn't crazy about the food. Also keep in mind there are no restrooms on-site, But i've been told some of the surrounding businesses will allow you to use theirs.

Green acre Park is beautiful and nice place to have sit and relax with this beautiful artificial waterfall. This place can be best utilized in day time. Great photo location. It has limited seating. Truly saying, this is a small seating with an artificial water. There is no other amusement in this place. Free entertainment and one time visit recommended.

Sweet hidden gem tucked away in the midst of midtown Manhattan! I was looking for a place to sit and enjoy my bagel from nearby Ess-a-bagel and saw a tiny park on the map. Wandered in and found an absolute oasis! A shady park with tons of seating and a massive, man made waterfall! The sound of the waterfall drowns out all the city noise and creates a peaceful escape in the middle of one of the busiest bits of the city. Sat, ate, read, reflected, refreshed, and ready to go. Come check this out if you need a slice of peace in the city!

Every time I visit NYC, I like to spend time checking out new (to me) parks. On this trip, I found a couple that had waterfalls which seemed unique for a city. It's a very small park, but it's cute. The waterfall adds a nice element to it. There isn't really grass or anything here, but there are plenty of trees so it's nicely shaded. It's also close to Paley Park so you can check out two parks with waterfalls at one time. I'm not sure I'd add it as a must visit, but it would be a nice spot to eat lunch.

Greenacre Park is a hidden gem. It’s a small, park in Midtown Manhattan, offering a peaceful oasis with its beautiful waterfall, trees, and seating areas. It has seating area just near to waterfall when you go downstairs, there is an open seatin area with few chairs and tables and just next to it has a seating area covered with shade. This place also has a small food kiosk. If you want to escape from the bustling city for few hours than this is the best place. It doesnot have playground for kids.

This is a hidden gem in the city. Not too crowded and nice to relax or enjoy lunch. Finding a waterfall in the jungle of concrete was a surprise. Thank you whoever came up with the idea.

A great place for a respite or to grab lunch while surrounded by the awesomeness of a two-story waterful. FYI, you can bring your own lunch or opt to buy snacks and beverages from the wonderful concession stand. If the visuals of this waterfall are not enough to make you feel like you've somehow stepped into a portal from the busy city life... grab a seat up close and all city noises will quickly be drowned out.

Such an amazing little gem in the city. I love coming here and it feels like a little secret place that only locals know about, which I love. It's never too packed either, and the waterfall is really beautiful. Perfect place to read or just chill during your lunch break or after work.

I could spend the whole day here and have a fantastic time! The manmade falls and greenery create a wonderfully relaxing atmosphere. It's such a nice surprise to find a place like this open to the public in the middle of the concrete jungle.

Best place to relax after a busy work day. I usually grab a book and spend hours at the park. This place takes u far way from the hustle and bustle of NYC. The waterfall gives a calming effect. This is a private property and kudos to the person who owns this place, for making it publicly available. You won't find a place like this one in the heart of midtown Manhattan!

Nice waterfall from nowhere. A little oasis in Manhattan. Good place to relax, to read, to work. Those who is planning to have a conference on laptop, the waterfall's noice might be to loud. Have a coffee and enjoy the moment.

A serene oasis in Midtown, with a tiny cafe, lots of chairs to sit and contemplate the soothing cascading flow of a waterfall. Green and peaceful, it's a wonderful place to have a quick bite al fresco or just to come in for the waterfall alone: the roar of the water is soothing and therapeutic.

An absolutely beautiful and peaceful little park tucked away where you probably wouldn’t find it or notice unless you were looking for it. It’s also better designed for zen and serenity than others like it in the city like Paley Park. Certainly a place I will visit more when I’m in this part of town.

Beauty, serenity, gorgeous waterfall oasis. Lush plantings, amazing running water troughs lined with River rocks leading to the amazing waterfall. Manhattan's best-kept secret! Pocket park with a view and "natural" white noise of waterfall.

A great secluded park that gets you away from the city, right in the middle of it all. Quiet, relaxing, and a nice cafe with some good food. Crowded (but pleasant) at lunch time, so you may have trouble grabbing a table.

Beautiful green oasis in the concrete jungle. The water flow is calming. You can read, have a nice chat or just enjoy the tranquility. There’s a small cafe that sells juices, smoothies and food.

Very nice place to go in the city. There is small daily store also. But there is not bathroom. But you should use bathroom at Panda Express restaurant. That restaurant is across from park and corner of 51 street and 3rd Ave.

This is a beautiful park. I didn’t know it was here but walked by and returned later to enjoy lunch by the waterfall. The fountain is made like a waterfall is a loud like a big natural waterfall, it’s a very nice sound and ambiance.

A lovely oasis in Midtown. In a neighborhood short on green spaces, this one delivers tranquility and beauty in a very small space. Yes, you need to abide by the rules of this "private space for public enjoyment," but all are welcome here. Step in and hear the sounds of the city slip away as you watch the waterfall.

Very quaint place to see a beautiful waterfall in the city. Outdoor seating to relax or eat at since they even have a booth that sells food. Simple yet elegant.
