Great traditional boardwalk park! Loved the classic Cyclone Rollercoaster and all the exhilarating rides! Many rides for thrill seekers and some for smaller kids. Best part is that it is on the boardwalk and the beach. Much like Santa Cruz, California. Both iconic roller coasters are from 1920’s! Great carnival food, shops and rides!

The Boardwalk itself is quite nice (at least in the morning when there is no rush and tourists like us). There are a lot of shops for eat and drink as well, of course relatively expensive and also very well booked in the afternoon. The fairground rides at luna park are ok (for kids) but nothing special. All in all, we spent a nice half of the day in coney island, if you plan to lay on the beach or go swimming, a complete day could be also pass away.
