My experience with Erstwhile has been a master class in great customer service. My engagement ring needed to be sent back twice, once for resizing and once for a tarnish touch-up. Both times, they maintained constant communication and did great (and quick) work. When I wanted to have my ring touched up again during a work trip to NY, the process was quite effortless--a mere two-day turnaround, free of charge. If you're looking for a jeweler that really cares about their customers (and not to mention, sells gorgeous, unique rings), this is the one!

I love my Erstwhile Quill! It is truly beautiful, so unique, and honestly the perfect pair with my engagement ring!! I had come across Erstwhile with the intention of buying a vintage wedding band to go with my engagement ring. I took the train to the city to try on a couple options in person. My experience was exceptional. Nikki already had bands ready in my size. She was patient as I tried on many rings over and over again, even though we both knew right away that the Quill was perfect. I had such an amazing experience with Erstwhile. I wanted to be involved with the selection of my ring and had been eyeing Erstwhile online for years before I was even ready to get engaged, so I was thrilled to make an appointment at the showroom. They do offer limited weekend appointments, but I was able to schedule something on a Saturday without any issue. Nikki was SO helpful and kind, and super responsive on email. I decided on my ring during our appointment, and my fiance purchased it shortly after. He had a wonderful experience working with Nikki, and I truly cannot get over my ring. It is exceptional, unique, and exactly what i was looking for.

Erstwhile was fantastic! I ordered a custom Astrid ring, giving Jesse the information on the kind of diamond I was looking for. Erstwhile did a great job of sourcing the diamond and Jesse kept me up to date. They were even able to acquire a better diamond than they had quoted me for! I got videos of the diamond when they sourced it and of the ring after it was produced. They finished the ring faster than expected and I was able to surprise my fiancé with the proposal. The ring itself is mesmerizing, elegant, and unique. It is timeless. We recommend Erstwhile whole-heartedly (and have to all our inquiring friends!).

Finally getting around to this review after 2 years. I wanted something very special that no one else has and boy did Erstwhile deliver!!! Being from Texas spending that kind of money placing a online order made me a bit nervous. These people provided top notch white glove service and way over delivered on every level.
