Terribly disorganized. Their app is awful and their reports on the the app cannot be exported. They only way to get a report is to go back in person to get a printed report. The app is the only access to their "portal" and there is no other way to access your information remotely. Compared to other patient portals, this one has little to no information. The app doesn't even show the name on the report, so if you needed to bring that for travel that would not look legit. The printed report is a lot more substantial and I don't understand why that information can't be made available on the "portal." When you ask for tech support for the app (because it wasn't working), they direct you to the generic Summit Health app. CityMD is partnered with this company, but it doesn't appear that they communicate with each other. Their on-site sign-in process is on dysfunctional iPads where you have to click something 3-5 times before seeing you entries. Many mistakes, which led to issues with the portal later. No way to submit your info while you stand in line. During the recent spike in testing, they were not able to adapt to the huge demand and offer appointments. Instead they are having people stand in line for 3 hours or more (I was in line 3 hours and 10 minutes), in the freezing cold weather. If you are sick, elderly, or both, you are screwed. That borders cruel treatment. In a world where we have so much advanced technology, one would think that we have tech working for us. If your are someone who likes to keep careful records of your medical visits, this place is not recommendable. The visit: I came in with a fever, but their thermometer didn't register that. They said they would remeasure with a mouth thermometer but never did. I went to another place for a temperature check and remeasured at home as well and once again registered a higher temperature. I understand if they are overwhelmed, but it also does not make for good care.

My experience here was great. Helpful, kind, knowledgeable staff and very friendly. I needed urgent medical care and they provided it to me when everyone else was closed. Anthony and Vanessa were great!

Avoid like your life depends on it because mine did I powered through the long wait and almost unprofessional ambiance -- someone from the doctor or nurse station blasting music, because I was having a sore throat and in so much pain The attending provider here didn't spot the abscess in the tonsils, did a rapid strep test told me it's viral and sent me on my way. Given my situation didn't improve. I thought of taking a second opinion and went to my PCP at Weil Cornell. Who spotted this problem, recommended I be taken to ER, where they successfully drained about 6oz of pus which if burst could have caused complications and even death given it's proximity to the brain. Well dead men cannot write Google Reviews. I can, and probably also save a few from making a mistake and dying. I am in no way implying everyone here is terrible. But given the number of 1 star reviews and 5 star reviews, I don't believe their are capable of running a quality urgent care which needs to identify er cases potentially could be life threatening.

I went in around 10 pm for stitches after cutting my thumb. I was in and out in 30 minutes with excellent care from the patient care coordinator at the front desk, to the medical assistant to the DO. Shirley Pham was my physician and she was so great. Perfect bedside manner, clear explanations and expectations, and efficient. This is the second CityMD I have visited with similar outcomes. I’m super grateful to have confidence in the quality of care.

Went in for routine preventive care, which is covered by my insurance at clinics. Asked at the front desk if my insurance would cover the visit and was told that it would be covered in full. The blood draw and everything were fine, though the doctor herself spent literally only 15 seconds in the room and just asked if I'd provided my samples; she didn't ask if I had any questions or make any attempts to learn about my risk factors, etc. Since it was a routine visit, I let this go. One month later, though, I received a bill for $300 for the visit. The lab tests were covered by my insurance, but not the 15 seconds with the physician because of a confusing loophole about preventive care at urgent care facilities (apparently CityMD doesn't qualify as a clinic despite calling itself an "urgent care clinic" on its website.) So CityMD both misled me about my visit being covered by my insurance ("You're all good to go" was what I was told at the front desk before going in) and charged me $300 for a doctor to walk in the door and walk back out. The wonderful nurses were the saving grace of this experience, but I can't imagine using CityMD again except as a last resort.

Outrageous! They made me pay an upfront 225 dollars, which they explained the reason, fine. But then literally 1 minutes into the consult, the doctor who examined me told that I needed to see an ear and throat specialist at the other CityMD on the east 14th. I basically paid 225 dollars JUST to be redirected to an other doctor, to whom I paid an upfront 50 dollars and just received a 664 dollars for the exam. Not disputing the second fee ( although outrageously expensive but this is America so not a surprise) however I just feel like the original 225 could have been either refunded or deducted considering the situation

Rather than publicizing this, they prevent people from knowing that their Covid tests will end at around 8 p.m. Thanks for having me wait and waste my time. 👎 DMV is better organized than this place

Went to this location on Oct 19,22 was very sick my throat on fire and coughing, doc run the test for covid, flu and strep. He didn’t gave me anything, suggested me took 2 advil and 2 tylenol in the same time. He said wait for the result 3 days. I can’t open the portal, the result came over 10 days. I should give 1 star. But I think it depends on doctor who taking care because I came for this location few times, one Asian woman doctor treat my asthma very amazing, she care about her patient. I wish I know her name.

BEWARE! They sent me a bill ONE YEAR after a visit for covid testing during the height of the pandemic when it's supposed to be free, and now I'm bouncing back and forth between my old insurance and their perpetually backed up billing department to try to get it fixed. They charged my insurance AND left me a $75 copay for a covid test and when I called my insurance, they said city MD didn't code it as a covid test. This is potential for insurance FRAUD. I HAVE CALLED ABOUT THIS CHARGE ON MY ACCOUNT TWICE BEFORE and was told NOT TO WORRY. BEWARE.

Quick and reliable service, very knowledgeable doctors and nurses. Went to get an X-ray, total time about 30:00, with quick results. Will definitely go again if another medical emergency.

Came in with numerous symptoms. PA didn’t do anything except a covid test. No viral panel or anything and sent me on my way. Wasted visit. Went to the er, they did a viral panel among other things, I tested positive for influenza a, and was prescribed antivirals. HIGHLY UN-RECOMMEND

Amazing experience, I HATE doctors offices especially here in New York City. This place had a great staff that were extremely helpful and very knowledgeable. The doctor we had was very polite and listened. (Anthony) might of been his name. He knew exactly what was wrong with me gave me what I needed and everything within 30mins. Bathroom was very very clean and everything was well organized. It’s worth the travel definitely better than other urgent cares. Insurance ladies extremely experience and knowledgeable, and was able to figure out a couple of Insurance hiccups on my end. Thank you!

So grateful for this location being open later on a Sunday night and also for the wonderful personnel, especially Christine and Dr. Godbout. I went there after testing positive for an at home Covid test. They saw me right away thankfully it wasn't busy. They listened to all my concerns retested me and verified I was indeed positive and then called in a prescription for Paxlovid. Very impressed by their knowledge and their kindness.

I received excellent care at CityMD - it far exceeded any preconceived ideas I had about these convenient medical centers. I came in merely for a test for Influenza and I was seen by two nurses and a doctor who gave me a thorough and reassuring exam and answered all my questions. I will turn to CityMD again and again and I recommend consider CityMD as one of their healthcare options. I have already recommended CityMD to highly to friends and family.

I have been coughing for weeks. Went into the location on 14th street between 5th and 6th ave. I was seen immediately the staff was very warm and welcoming. Although I was coughing was treated with respect. I was given a flu and Covid test that were both negative. The Dr. right away realized I had an infection. Called in the antibiotics. Right now I am on day 2 of my antibiotics and I feel much better. I hope by the new year I will be 100percent better.

I unfortunately needed to go twice recently. The first visit there was no X-ray tech. I specifically expressed a need for one before checking in. The first dr didn’t even take off the bandaids on my left knee and just advised me to clean it when I got home. My right ankle was broken making it impossible to clean my wound properly. When I went back to different location the next day to have my ankle X-ray that dr re wrapped my ankle so much better but advised me to go to the er. Which is what I could have done the night before if I had known there was no X-ray tech. Needless to say I’m not happy with my experience and will not be recommending Citymd at all going forward

THE GOOD: I was attended to at the West 14th Street CityMD location by Dr. Mohsin Saber MD on 8/12/23. Dr. Saber was extremely kind, very professional and superb at his practice. THE UGLY: I went to the West 14th Street location AFTER I had a horrible experience at the 37th Street and 3rd Avenue CityMD at 4:15 PM on 8/12/23. A female doctor there was extremely rude and obnoxious. Not only obnoxious but stopped away from me while I was speaking to her. As a Black, disabled veterans, I felt I was treated less than human.

I was misdiagnosed and given medication I didn't need. I went there recently for severe back pains and other symptoms that I wanted checked up on. Doctor took urine, saw blood, told me I have a kidney infection, prescribed me antibiotics, and sent me on my merry way. I ended up in the EMERGENCY ROOM, with REAL DOCTORS who informed me that I DO NOT have a kidney infection but rather herniated disc's in my back. The extra pain and suffering was due to the lovely antibiotics that were meant for a diagnosis that I DID NOT HAVE. The doctor who misdiagnosed me should have her license taken away. Completely unacceptable and entirely dangerous. I work at a MEDICAL OFFICE, so LUCKILY, I HAVE REAL DOCTORS WHO ADVISED ME TO GO TO EMERGENCY ROOM. I am unhappy.

A stupid accident made that much better by city md. Staff was skilled, efficient and kind. 11 stitches later I was back (somewhat) on my feet again and out the door in around an hour. Saved me a long wait in urgent care. Thank you - really grateful for this care in nyc.

Dr. Anthony Huff was exceptional. I would give him an A plus. He was personable, knowledgeable, thorough. I wish he was my doctor all the time. That being said, I didn't feel the same about the first doc i saw. She was ok but very rushed and not communicative. City MD was quick. Went, got in, got treated. The place is clean. They give you a read out of everything. It was good all in all.

It's amazing how you walk into, what you think is a professional business, especially the medical field and was rudely greeted by a young female receptionist that has a disgusting attitude problem that needs to be adjusted and corrected immediately cause she's going to run into another miserable patient that's going to adjust her stinking attitude. People go to these places for medical attention regardless who they are, where they come from and their age. Being in a customer service position, requires professionalism, being caring, being patient, a good listener and a great attitude and especially in the medical field. You can't treat people wrongly and expect a award for it and you're only a receptionist not a NURSE OR A DOCTOR, so please do the public a favor and quit your job cause you won't be missed you miserable thing. And every business is overwhelmed right now and I get it but also be thankful you're not outside like the people on the mobile vans are and they are in the freaking cold, but they are extremely professional, polite, respectful, well mannered, caring, helpful. Go take our your anger on yourself and not innocent people. Hopefully this gets taken care of ASAP. It's the young latina sitting right in front of the bathroom as your walking towards the back. Incident happened Sunday 01/09/2022 between 12:30pm-1:30 pm.

The deskwoman insisted on filling in my e-mail address on their ridiculous iPad, instead of telling me how to get to the screen with the '@' character. Without asking me, she filled in the first part of the address with upper-case letters beginning my first and last names—thus creating a brand-new account instead of using my existing account. The result was that I couldn't sign in to my existing account or the new account the rest of yesterday and into this morning. At 10:14 a.m. this morning, I got an e-mail starting out with "Thank you for your first visit to CityMD!"—when my first visit had been in 2020 using the e-mail account whose address had no upper-case letters. Fortunately the software from MicroBrain (my name for MS) was smart enough to find the existing account and transfer over all the information. That turned what would have been a 30-minute setup job into a 15-minute setup job. If I hadn't gotten that "Welcome to CityMD" e-mail, my plan was to go back to my local CityMD this afternoon, and tell them I would insist on repeating the PCR test after setting up a new account using my business e-mail address. I would carry a metal yardstick, and use it to rap the knuckles of any deskperson who tried to physically touch the iPad—rather than verbally direct me—while I was setting up the account.

Took a Covid-19 PCR test on a Monday and I was told on Saturday I would ny get my results until Monday or Tuesday because is business days. That’s Not 3-5 day for results that’s more like over a week Smh. I’m glad I’m not traveling and if I am in the future I wouldn’t go to CityMD to get a PCR test.

They treat you like you're from the ghetto. And they will do the wrong PCR test. And no one offered to help. Go elsewhere, it's just not worth the disrespect, inconvenience and medical errors

I've had the worst experience here. I went to get an n95 fit test done but since I didn't have my medical request paperwork, they were unable to do it. I came back a few days later with the paperwork, and this time they couldn't do it because I didn't provide my own mask. So, I finally came a THIRD TIME, and this time they refused to help me because they said my employer didn't have a contract with them. You need to better train your front desk workers. They should have told me this the very first time I came in instead of wasting my time not once, but THREE TIMES. Absolutely ridiculous

Great experience on site. Awesome young female Dr. However, it's been two weeks, and I still do not know my test results. So, giant FAILURE... avoid this service. Somehow I am not able to access access online results and am currently on hold trying to get them by phone. This is attempt #3 and I've been on hold 6 minutes as I type this review.

I had what turned out to be a serious condition that required 3 days of hospitalization. I went to CityMD for help, and a PA there quickly diagnosed me, got confirmation from another PA, and sent me to an ER. The PAs knew exactly what I had and exactly what to do. Grateful to them for getting it right.

If you are coming here, the doctors are good but the front desk is incompetent. DO NOT SCHEDULE FOLLOW-ON SPECIALIST APPOINTMENTS WITH THE FRONT DESK! They will likely book you with their affiliated Summit health specialist location on 18th street, which does not have the best doctors, or the equipment they need to actually treat patients. The front desk at this location booked me for the wrong kind of appointment (consultation instead of an exam), and the location at which they booked me neither had the staff or equipment to do the test on the day of my appointment.

I had 102 fever and went there for treatment in midnight. Nurses and doctors are very nice. However the doctor told me to get medicine at CVS in the next morning which means I have to wait for the whole night with the high fever. I came to the urgent care in midnight just because I do not have any medicine at home. This is my first time in urgent care, not very sure about how it works, is it because urgent care doesn’t provide any medicine or prescription? Can someone tell me why the doctor didn’t give me any medicine??

I recently brought in my teen athlete because he had an infected toe. After having to check in on their system (a lengthy process)and wait: the doctor looked at my son's toes for less than a minute (literally !) ,prescribed an antibiotic and ointment, for which CityMD charged a $300 ! Due to a high deductible insurance policy, I had to pay out of pocket. There should be some correlation between the time spent by a doctor and the charge. the physician and the bill.I would think twice before another visit
