I wish I could give this location a 0. If you're going to charge $18 for a salad at least give a decent portion of chicken etc. Its a slap to the customers face especially after having to wait on a ridiculous line because the workers are too busy playing games with each other joking and ignoring customers and then throwing their salad at them half the time missing main ingredients. This location is just a mess!

Dear management, Today was unacceptable. No buts, ifs, or ands. After counting 14 staff members in your kitchen dancing, playing music, eating. Not one staff member stepped up to help the people waiting for 15 min in line who were there for lunch. Had I’d known it would take this long to get service I would’ve taken my business else where. Then when I finally get to the counter to have my order taken by an employee who appeared to coming back from her break did I learn there was no meat for the salad of my choice or any salad. The counters were dirty, the staff seems to giving each other the customer service not the paying clients. It is disappointing because Ik sweet green is better than this. I see a lot high school kids work here and a lot ethnic people as well(I’m black) but we need to represent ourselves better than this so I don’t have to here corporate employees whisper underneath their breath what did you expect from “them” while I’m trying to get my lunch. Do better! Fire, hire, or train your staff to know that my experience today with 10 other people was unacceptable. Thank you

Terrible. I gave it two chances. The first I queued up in store and experienced a slow, painful crawl to the front of the line. There's loads of staff but the process isn't running smoothly and it takes ages. The second time I ordered online for midday pickup. 20 minutes after the pickup time the food finally arrived, missing one of the main ingredients (chickpeas in the curry chickpea bowl).... The salads, at a cost of $14, are not good. After they've been mixed with tongs they resemble something a toddler might knock up if given free reign over the contents of a fridge. Flavour wise there's nothing special and the chicken appears un-seasoned and bland. There are so many better alternatives nearby for flavourful, healthy lunches (Dig Inn, Naya, Little Beet etc), don't waste your time or money at Supergreen.

Horrible, horrible, horrible!!!! I placed a pick up order and it showed it was ready to be picked up. I get there and one staff member said I have to wait 15-20 minutes because they didn’t have any fish ready. Then I placed order stating the dressing is to be on the side but the salad was covered in excessive sauce. I even showed the staff member the picture. They even forgot to give me the bread. SMH!!!!!! I will never buy anything at all from there again.

I don't quite understand, why this location is getting such bad ratings. To be fair, I had pretty low expectations as I took a look at the ratings online, but my experience proved me wrong. The location was pretty empty when I dropped by, there was only one other customer in line before me on a Thursday afternoon at roughly 4PM. My order was processed by a very kind, polite and attentive employee, who basically asked me every step of the way how to prepare the bowl, the amount of sauce to apply, explained the spice level of the hot sauce, and every ingredient from the salad to the chicken was balanced in its quantity. The bowl was extremely delicious, the amount of food was more than I expected, and I don't see any kind of disrespectful behavior on part of the staff here. Maybe things have changed after the aforementioned reviews, and if they have, then to the better. Thanks for the delicious food and thank you for the exceptional service and experience.

The Rockerfeller plaza location is horrible. They never smile or look like they want to be there. It shows in the way they make the salads and they way it taster. I work for TISHMAN SPEYER in one of the buildings and this gives us a really bad name for what he’s trying to do and build.

I work in the bldg and use to enjoy their salads but my last 3 experiences were bad. Two small cube pieces of chicken first time. No chicken the second time. No Brussel sprouts in a salad where that's the main ingredient 3rd time (container less than half full) plus I got sick. Since I order to go I didn't realize there were problems right away. I figure any place can have an off day but these are pricey salads and that's 3 strikes. Not going back unless a coworker confirms they've straightened their issues out.

Wild rice was not properly cooked. While eating It felt as if there are stones in my mouth and had to spit ( worse to that extent). This was after waiting in line for 45 minutes., although there were only 20 customers in front of me. Worst service and food. They also charged me for some other salad with higher price which I had not purchased. When I pointed it out, I had to wait for another 10 minutes to get my refund as the cashier did not know to process it and had to seek help from 2 other people, for whom I was the last priority. Workers there are busy having fun, talking amongst themselves and do not attend to you promptly even at the peak hours. This was my 4th time at the same location during peak hours. But service was slow and poor each time.

Hands down the worst sweetgreen in NYC. I thought things would be better in current times (Sept-20) since there are significantly less people, but this place is horrendous. Tomatoes were brown and soggy. The kale smelled rotten. I would not be surprised if I get sick in a couple of days. Walk a few streets over for another location.

We are from Singapore and was visiting NY. Being a salad lover, we tried a few salad shops in NYC, where some are franchises. SG is better than many of the commonly found salad shop around the town. 1. The menu is understandable but you may want to add in the prices for additionals top ups. 2. The staff attending to me was friendly, esp being in NY where normally we get a cold interaction. I was not too sure on my order being a 1st timer customer, he explained it to me well. 3. Did not see options of drinks such as smoothie or fresh juice. That will be better if available. 4. SG is also commonly means Singapore. Just for fun to see your brand as such, haha 😂

I can’t believe how horrible the service is!! Everyone is with an attitude no communication what’s so ever! I told the guy how I want my salad he did the total opposite didn’t even ask me how much dressing I’ll like he just did the salad like it was for himself! It’s so bad!!!!! Please get new management!!!

I do think their menu is lacking a bit. Especially with the cheese options. They were also running out of stuff by 1 pm. Total lack of seating in the restaurant was also a little annoying. Overall the salad was decent

This location can be very chaotic with a long line if there is a rush. However, I've only had good experiences with pre-order and MealPal, and the portions were actually better than another location in my work neighborhood and the service better than in my home neighborhood. This chain will probably always be controversial; they are on the pricer side of salad restaurants and not everyone's taste, but they have been consistent and use quality ingredients in my experience. But I'm used to midtown prices and weird timing of lines/demand and occasional shortages at the end of the day. There is no immediate seating area in the storefront but you can dine in the building or outside; it's in the basement level so not what I would consider an amazing atmosphere. The store is clean and bright at least.

As always food is amazing at SG but the service at this specific location could use alot of work. The queer white man that helped me out had a lot of sass and was slightly rude when telling me all my extra additions were extra. The other woman that helped my boyfriend chopped and tossed his salad even after multiple times telling her no. The whole place smelled like sweet potato and workers are either rude, dont know english or can’t hear well. (Also nowhere to sit)

Never again. Absolute chaos. Ordered a 12:45 pickup online because of a very limited lunch break. Received an email saying it was ready @ 12:35. It wasn’t there and it was chaos. They clearly take on more scheduled orders than they can handle. Staff was flippant and indifferent. Worst sweetgreen experience

at this location i can see why kow stars. the staff should know ingredients that go in their salads!? missing putting in the essential ingredients (theres a list they read from too) that make up specific salads is ridiculous. also forgetting the romaine in a salad that is a SALAD and lists it as a ingredient is just plain odd. on salad #2 paid 20 00 for a bowl of lettuce other ingredients were scarce and the hunt and peck game was not worth the money. if you eat here pay attention when they make it, chances are it will be wrong if you don't.

Manager was so courteous today - I came in late afternoon when lots of their options were sold out, and she and her employee were so helpful in making me something I would enjoy. Very much appreciated. Salad was delicious too :)

My bowl was very sloppy and thrown together in a rush (and I get that it’s a busy location). It looks like a toddler put it together. Did not look appetizing at all. Not ordering ahead again if I ever get anything from this location.

I CAN’T STAND this Sweetgreen! The line lasts forever and they never have all the ingredients!! You wait forever to get to the front of the line, order one of THEIR customized salads, only to have them pass over your fav ingredient because “Oh! We don’t have it!!” Don’t you think you should have mentioned that when I ordered it?! And then that woman doesn’t want to replace it with some measley cheese flakes!?! Yes, I was flabbergasted and yes, I left hungry. To top it off I had to deal with her condescending sarcastic “Have a nice day”. Thanks Sweetgreen! You really made my day!

Several things upset me. The girl who took my order also decided to also take the guy behind. TShe was so concern with his order that she left ingredients out of my salad. Its a fast pace assembly line and alot going on so it was very confusing and annoying. I feel she should have focused on getting the salad right. She also kept rubbing her nose with her wrist where you would normally wear your watch all this while serving the food and proceed to pick up almonds with her hand not a spoon. Not happy

A truly amazing experience. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. Especially Najah and Britney, who had such a good attitude and made the atmosphere of the whole restaurant really welcoming , and overall making it such an memorable experience. Would recommend for not just the great food but great people serving it.

Our first experience with sweetgreen was just great. The staff was very friendly and the store looked clean. Most importantly, the salads were really good! Also fairly large portions, so good value for money. Would definitely recommend!

I haven’t been to other sweetgreens but I’ve ordered twice from here and the food from here is always very good. It’s a little expensive compared to nearby options (but healthier, probably!), and if you show up at or just after noon on a weekday the line is usually pretty long, but I’ve found it to be worth the cost and wait.

I ordered two salad online from Rock Center and when I came to pick them up, only one was there. As it was lunchtime, it was very crowded and yet a sweet greens employee named Monica R checked the order, realized that somebody else had taken mine, remade the order and brought it out to me all within five minutes. The food at Sweetgreens is always delicious but this exceptional service deserves a shout out!!!!! Thank you Monica

We stopped by for some grub before heading up to Top of the Rock. Food was healthful but portions are small-ish. Prep area was a little messy. Takeaway only.

Shroomami kale salad is amazing, so good. Service is good. Long lines but definitely worth it.

Extremely slow service, didn’t listen to my order & had to be corrected …. and handed me the wrong salad in the end, which I discovered once was away from the store. Don’t go to this location!!!!
