Glad I stopped here, got them right before their lunch break. This place is so tasty. Everything came out hot and tasty and so good. Their pork belly is so good, their bao and pan fried goyza os so so good. So with all these goods, why a 4? Well my almost hard boiled egg was still cold. Like right out the fridge cold and was off putting, tasted well but was off putting. The ramen noodles were a little too firm for my taste from the traditional ones I’ve had in Japan (their broth was bomb though) and the main course came out a couple minutes apart for me and the person I was eating with. Main courses and appetizers should be delivered to a table at the same time for both folks. Again though. Super happy with my choice to stop here and try it. Their spicy oil garlic sauce is fantastic.

Friendly and helpful service, drinks were mixed well but a tad light for my taste. Their tan tan soup is delicious, you have a wavy ramen noodles in curry sauce (Singaporean style), the tonkatsu ramen with braised pork that melted in your mouth was very tasty and you just keep trying to eat more. They have an appetizer and soup special combo that's very decent in price. Soft shell crab in soft bun was very good. We will be coming back to try their other dishes.

🦐 $12 The shrimp is very delicious, generous in portion, and you get around 12. Its sauce is like yum yum sauce. 🍜 $17 The chicken noodle soup base is rich, with bamboo shoots and shredded wood ear mushrooms. The chicken is tender, and with each bite of soup and noodle, it's truly comforting 😌. 🍜 $17 The tan tan noodles have a rich flavor; no wonder it's a popular dish among the masses."

Good ramen (4/5) and incredible value for lunch ($20 for ramen and a curry). The tonkatsu ramen (4/5) was quite good with flavorful broth. They include the egg which is great, and their noodles are thicker which I liked. They didn't give you that much ramen and the piece of pork they included was small but it was good. The curry (4.5/5) was super good - well flavored and included tender cuts of pork. I recommend!

Nice place, great service. Every time guests were seated, the hosts say “Irasshaimase” that means Welcome in Japanese. I ordered sake, the regular flavor (I’m not an expert) and it was fantastic! Well served🙏🏻 We ordered seaweed salad, tacos with duck and a couple of rolls. Tacos were my favorite dish. They had everything: the flavor, the texture, the unexpected. Recommended!

Great chewy noodles, delicious broth that is packed with flavor but not overly heavy, tasty toppings. As good as a bowl of ramen can get and perfect for cold days.

Very disappointed. The reviews made it like top 10 ramen shop in New York, however the food is not even better than a fast food ramen. First the portion is extremely small. The portion that can’t even feed my 2 years old. The chashu is a JOKE. It’s like a slice of bacon unsalted! The service is one of the most terrible, although in New York where you don’t get services, Japanese restaurants usually have relatively higher standard than American ones. Not recommend at all.

Fabulous sushi and probably some of the best spicy white tail I've eaten. Good wine list for a Japanese place and the cocktails are delicious. The decor and vibe is simple and cool. The pork belly bao is a tasty add on to the $18 lunch special. Excellent value!

Not sure why this place is so highly rated. I found the ramen average - the noodles were well cooked but the broth and char siu both bland and uninspired. And the karaage was possibly the worst I’ve had - bland, tough and not crispy at all. The whole vibe is that of a chain- just not my kind of ramen spot. Service was friendly though.

Momosan is one of my new favorite ramen spots in the NYC and NJ area. The noodles have the perfect firmness and the spicy Tonkotsu broth is absolutely delicious. Definitely recommend that and to try the cocktails. Everything is amazing and the service is fantastic. Now for my standard COVID comments as of November 2022. No one is really wearing masks anymore. Seating indoors is really nice if it is not too crowded. Otherwise there are nice booths which feel comfortable. If you are at one of the long tables though, you are sitting pretty close to other. Regardless, I felt pretty comfortable in there.

We for the lunch specials, each ramen came with a small appetizer for 20 bucks. I got the tan tan noodles and it might have been one of the best I've ever had. Rich coconut milk broth with some slightly spicy beef. Even the sushi apps had really fresh tuna. Highly recommend this place and I will be back!

Super friendly service. Clean and great seating options. Came around 1230 on Saturday and wasn't busy. I got spicy tonkotsu with extra egg and half order of noodles. Pork chashu was super tender and tasty. The noodles were the thick ones which Im not a fan but they were firmer so I enjoyed. The broth was so good. Reminded me of this place in Houston I used to love. It was almost perfect except a lil on salty side. The spice was right on. They have extra seasonings to spice it up. I'll definitely come again.

This is the real deal. Great ramen. Great sake selection. Add a little Rock & Roll music to liven things up and you’ve got Momosan. Check it out!

This ramen shop is perfect for a quick and simple meal. The ramen tastes fantastic, and the snacks like fried chicken are also delicious. The service is quick, and the staff is very welcoming. The atmosphere is lively, although the restaurant can be a bit noisy, requiring raised voices for conversation. Overall, it creates a cheerful and enjoyable dining experience.

Nice ambiance, excellent service, very friendly staff. The BEST vegan ramen I've had so far, impressed. Although for me, the spicy isn't spicy enough, I think it's mostly tailored for a western palette but they have condiments I'll have to try next time. The brussel sprout appetizer is amazing and the cocktails are yummy too, I recommend the mango one. What a hit. Definitely going back.

Everything ordered was 5/5, but the tsukemen with agedashi tofu and extra noodles was the star of the night. The service was amazing and everyone was so attentive. The overall energy was so nice, it’s a great place to have dinner! Would definitely come back again :)

The food was amazing. The atmosphere was great. Service was perfect. The Ramen and Karaage were so good I burnt my mouth because I couldn’t resist eating while hot. Fire restaurant would recommend for anyone.

This is my ULTIMATE favorite in NYC! The service provided by Johan is bar none the best of the best! He will treat you like a king/Queen! The Ramen is the best I’ve ever had. The spicy shrimp appetizer is phenomenal. Johan makes superb cocktails as well. Go there ASAP for a great dining experience!

Peaceful space with tasty ramen in the middle of NYC. We ordered a variety of dishes. They all came out great.

One of the better ramen spots in New York from my experience. This place serves the kind of hearty, traditional, and tasty ramen you’d expect and it’s done well. I ordered a spicy Tonkotsu ramen which comes with all the main add-ins like pork, mushrooms, soft boiled egg and seaweed. The noodles were a thicker cut egg noodle but very tasty. The pork belly tasted delicious as well but when I first bit into it, the center was cold which tells me they prepared it earlier and just added it in to heat up. Besides that, the broth was amazing and everything came together well. I walked in without a reservation and was seated right away at the bar. All in all, would recommend this spot for its ramen.

Perfect place. There were a lot of people when I went there during the weekdays. It was crowded, but we didn't wait for a long time for the seat(around 10 minutes). The dish was sooo good. However, expect there may be a longer wait time for the ramen. Great place while hanging out with friends. Will visit again.

Being an ardent fan of ramen, my visit to Momosan left me thoroughly satisfied. The staff was friendly, and the service was quick and hassle-free, especially with a fantastic lunch special available during the week. Opting for the TanTan ramen accompanied by a side of spicy tuna rolls and pot stickers, I was treated to a delightful combination bursting with incredible flavors. The creamy broth of the ramen was so rich and flavorful that I couldn't resist finishing every last drop. The dining room had a charming and comfortable ambiance, and I particularly enjoyed sitting at the bar area, facing the street and indulging in some people-watching while relishing my lunch. I'm already looking forward to my next visit, eager to explore another enticing combination from their menu!

Love their ramen. I’m not a ramen expert, but I have always loved the food and ambiance here. The appetizers like chicken karaage, gyozas and pork belly buns are so well executed, and the tonkotsu ramen is one of my favorite in town. Extra points for their sake.

solid bowl of ramen. the noodles are nice and chewy, and the broth is flavorful. i do think the pork was a little lacking- it wasn't super tender. FYI it is on the expensive side for ramen, and it is a smaller bowl. note that they don't take reservations, so we got there around 6 on a weekday, and it was right before a big rush.

Life is Short F……it up! Family, Flavor,Friends Start it off with soft shell crab bao Which was very juicy very flavorful highly recommend. Then we got the Kalimantan bao melts in ur mouth. Got the karaage not oily flavorful. Then came the main course the Tonkotsu Ramen. Presentation was done well ingredients were fresh and done well. Noodle texture was what to expect. Maybe I was expecting too much for the broth which make or break the ramen. IMO it was just Ok , it tasted good but disappointed and lacked the wow factor. Maybe since they were open a few years they have gotten complacent. However if ur in the area to visit a iron chef restaurant I should check it out.

Place is pretty good, ramen 🍜 is tasty 😋 , but the rest of the food wasn’t that great, sushi are tasteless, karaage 🍗 was cover with breadcrumbs and you can feel the oil taste, moreover when we finished we found out sauce on the bottom 😃 I believe chicken should have teriyaki taste when it is covered with the sauce. The service is great 👍
