This review is long overdue!! The service provided by the staff and overall welcoming nature was beyond 5 stars. The patience shown to my Mom and I from Star, Garfield, and other staff members (unfortunately didn't obtain their names) was truly appreciated 💛. I don't make it a habit of bad mouthing anyone because everyone has their day. But with that being said, the difference between the "help" received from multiple DMV customer service representatives, and the AAA Ralph Avenue staff was immediately felt (literally upon entrance). They actually wanted to help my Mom and I understand and work through the transactions. Double-checking anything they were unsure about. I sincerely appreciate AAA offering the DMV service through their offices. Unfortunately, meeting empathetic individuals seems to be far and few between these days. Although the situation my Mom and I were dealing with started out as highly stressful. I am truly grateful to have met the staff members at the AAA Ralph Avenue office along my path. I will always go back to their office for any transaction they can assist me with. 🙏🏾 Much love and blessings to them 💛✨

Went to get my driver license renewed and upgrade to enhanced. Make sure to schedule an appointment ahead of time, I made the mistake of not making an appointment the first time I came here. It was quick and painless. I got everything done in under 30 minutes.

Didn’t have high expectations when I came here, thinking I’d have a similar experience as we all do at the DMV. It was a last minute attempt to get an international drivers permit days before a trip. Well…what can I say…I had a wonderful experience here. The whole thing took less than 10 minutes and the older lady helping me was very very helpful. I’m probably going to come back here for all my administrative auto needs once I’m back states side.

Awesome service, feel much easier to do my Enhanced driver license in here than in a DMV office. Glad that AAA can have this service in their office now.

Had my International Driver's Permit processed here. Very fast and friendly service, they contacted me over the phone when it was ready and had it ready for me when I came to pick it up. They have a private parking lot there, so it's easy even if you come by car.

The DMV service is excellent at Ralph Ave. Make an appointment, tell them what you need and you can get it all done quickly and hassle-free. And there's a parking lot!

As a member of AAA, I went in to return vehicle plates when I find myself being yelled at by one of the black female AAA service rep. For just trying to ask her a simple question. Obviously, She did not take her medication, but decided that I was her morning fix! yes, I did not have an appointment, but the place was practically empty. I was told to wait for twenty minutes. After waiting pass thirty plus minutes, the so-called manager decided to take her rude employees' side, and decided to prolong my stay, until I decided to leave. I was able to walk in, at one of those other local DMV service branches and was properly serve.

Just based on my own limited experience at NY DMVs, I was prepared for a the worst. But BOY was I wrong. I arrived at 8:59 am Wed for an International Driver’s Permit, they open at 9am. I didn’t catch his name, but a very awesome young guy had me out the door in 23 min including photos taken. This place is EXCELLENT.

Very dissatisfied with the service. My husband was a member of the AAA for 35 years, and at first everything was fine. But yesterday we arrived at 2334 Ralph Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11234 for our planned trip to Key West. A nice girl - an employee listened to us carefully and offered to come the next day at 13:30. When we arrived today, we were told to wait half an hour. After that we waited another 1 hour and 50 minutes. After that, we were again offered to wait another 5 minutes. But the employee who was supposed to serve us was busy all the time. We asked to send us all the information by e-mail. But we were refused. We went home. This service is outrageous and unacceptable. I will not recommend this office to friends and family.

Very friendly and professional staff. I was there to complete DMV business. From the time I entered the space I was addressed and moved through my process of completing my transaction smoothly. As I asked questions, all were answered completely. I was there for less than an hour from beginning to end! I hope they continue to accommodate DMV services as I will never go back! Great experience!

This branch of AAA also has DMV services. I went there to get my enhanced license. The staff is friendly and helpful, which is way better than the actual DMV. Go online to find out what documents you need first and to make your appointment. All in all, a really good experience.

Attempted to book a last minute vacation. Our travel consultant did all she could. Would have booked the trip except the airfare and all the delays weighed heavy. We opted for a last minute cruise. Yes, I recommend AAA travel services. Will reach out to our consultant again.

Been a member for about 2 decades. Base upon your affordability we all need help and AAA een there for me. Tow, travel, tire change, battery charger and replacement too. There's always trouble around the corner with your car. Best to have and not need it then to need it and not have it.

Got all I needed done thank God they do just about all motor vehicle stuff only of you a member. Very polite caring and answer all you questions and even give you information if you don't have a app on your phone. Not crowded but need to make a appointment.

They're always great but today they really went above and beyond to be helpful and quick. Thank you all for what you do.

Wonderful! Immediately greeted at the door asking what my visit was for, I was there for an IDP. In and out in 20 minutes! Lady I dealt with for the whole process was so pleasant and informative.

Great customer service. Staff were all very Helpful, Professional and Polite and most of all knowledgeable in their field of Work.

Friendly, fast and helpful. I went in to get new passport photos taken and as a member it was free. In and out again in about 10 minutes.

UPDATE AFTER OUR TRIP: PLEASE NOTE THAT ANTIGUA DOES NOT RECOGNIZE THE IDP FROM AAA! Upon arrival, we were told that they would not honor the permit. We had to get another IDP from AVIS and pay another $40!!! We needed to get an IDP for our vacation to Antingua. After reading some of the reviews, I had expected to arrive at AAA in the late afternoon and have some sort of long wait time. My other half and I already had our application completed prior to arriving. We were in and out within 15 minutes, including having them take our pictures. Star greeted us as we walked in, and Garfield handled everything for us in getting our International Drivers Permit. Great customer service for a business that's consistently busy!

Really nice experience by knowledgeable and friendly staff. Needed an intl d.l. asap and that's what I got. Free parking at the location topped it off! Unlike what the website says, I was able to pay all the license fees and photos via credit card.

Really bad service stay away waited all day yesterday and today. If you want your car towed on a flat bed in Brooklyn good luck if it’s not queens, Manhattan or Staten Island it will take all day

Very often, anything vehicle or DMV related is a nightmare to visit, but not this location! It was completely empty during my visit (so the polar opposite of traditional DMVs), the staff was professional, and the wait was adequate. All you could (dare to) want from a vehicle service place.

We had a great first time experience at AAA. We came here for an international driver’s license and were in & out within 15-20 minutes! We didn’t have to wait and everyone was friendly. Location was spacious, tidy, and clean.

Service is excellent when you are there. But try calling them. 9 different extensions. and each one goes to the same person. Then she puts you on hold to send u to another person. What's the point of having different departments if the same person picks up But so convenient to not have to go to dmv

I went to get an International driver's license for my father-in-law and they were extremely helpful the person actually that spoke to my father-in-law was there he acquitted me very very nice the staff super friendly

We went here to get an International Driving Permit, which is apparently only available at AAA offices. The young man there was very pleasant, helpful and quick. Easy-peasy, except for the annoyance of needing one in the first place, but not their fault.

Friendly staff and fast service for AAA visit; wish they had more in-house insurance agents though. We were referred to calling in.

They never showed up and made me wait all day just to ask me if I’d like them to come pick up my car the next day. Corporate greed at its finest. Will never recommend or use AAA again. They gladly ask for membership fees but don’t deliver on their service. DISGRACEFUL

Very kind and helpful people working here. They tried to help me get an enhanced driver's license but unfortunately I was unable to get one today because of a missing letter on some of my information. Make sure you have all of your information matching! Great people! Can't wait to go back when I have everything correct.
