The
Campbell
is
a
fancy
cocktail
bar
located
in
Grand
Central
Station.
The
entrance
is
a
little
hard
to
find
-
in
Vanderbilt
Ave,
look
for
the
sign
pretty
much
opposite
1
Vanderbilt.
Once
inside
the
building,
you
walk
up
the
stairs
to
check
in
and
get
escorted
to
your
table.
It‘s
the
former
office
of
a
1920s
mogul,
with
high
ceilings
and
ornate
1920s
decor.
While
the
venue
is
beautiful,
we
were
a
little
disappointed
by
the
bar
itself.
On
a
busy
night,
it
is
packed
with
people
and
so
loud
that
having
a
conversation
is
almost
impossible.
Also,
we
found
the
drinks
to
be
nothing
special,
just
your
usual
standard
cocktails.
Service
was
a
pleasant
surprise
to
us
-
we
had
booked
a
table
for
Wednesday,
but
were
told
upon
arrival
that
due
to
a
private
event
taking
longer
than
expected,
we
were
unable
to
get
inside.
We
were
offered
to
rebook
our
reservation,
which
we
did.
When
we
arrived
way
ahead
of
our
reservation
time,
staff
went
out
of
their
way
to
get
us
a
table
without
any
waiting
time,
which
was
greatly
appreciated.
Even
more
so,
when
we
asked
for
the
bill,
we
were
told
that
we
should
consider
ourselves
invited
as
an
apology
for
having
messed
up
our
original
reservation.
Kudos
to
the
service
team!
