Wheelchair accessible station with a large waiting room and clean platforms.

Nice modern lirr station, waiting room, new railings, message boards& 2 elevators.

Ticket machines are located by the elevators at the ground floor of the main building. $5 Atlantic ticket is available there as well, which you must buy in person. There’s a Popeyes and a Dunkin’ Donuts nearby for some quick drinks/bites. The platform has shelters for poor weather, announcements about the next scheduled train arrival, and digital screens displaying the next trains and when they are expected to arrive. There’s a metered parking lot with hourly and all day parking, though you could probably find local parking if you’re willing to walk a bit. My biggest complaint would be that I wish there were ticket machines on the west end of the platform. It can make a difference when you’re running late!

Good train station, problem is that it’s elevated.

It is where some of NYC Heroes come out of when they start their day to take other Heroes to and from work.

Nice quiet place, beautiful train station... Not very many food options available.

Nice clean station, with comfortable seating areas indoors and outdoors. Conveniently located other forms of transportation, eating and retail establishments. My favorite express pathways into Brooklyn (Atlantic Terminal) and Manhattan (Penn Station)

Platform was filled with slush and ice. Be careful walking

Good place to railfan port Jefferson and ronkonkoma trains pass by at high speeds with the Hempstead branch too, good spot on the main line to watch trains pass by.
