Shady. We liked the gifts but at checkout, the cashier rings up everything and says $45.68. I hand over my card and he runs it. He hands me the receipt for $45.68 but my credit card alert shows a different amount ($47.28) and I question it. He tells me it’s a convenience fee and points to a little tiny sign behind him. I tell him that’s not very ethical and he simply says it’s a fee that they don’t make any money on. I tell him it’s a cost of doing business and I just get a blank stare. He then gives me another receipt with the fee. Nice place but really rubbed me the wrong way.

Charged my card for more than what was on my receipt AND (we were traveling and didn’t realize until we got home) didn’t give us everything that we bought. Followed us around the store like we were going to steal something.

Great variety of souvenirs at the usual prices around the city. However I noticed hand sanitizer being sold at $9.99! During this pandemic to be price gouging is unethical.

The way they play music outside their store is rude and disrespectful to the neighborhood. People deserve peace and quiet and shouldn't have to listen to their noise. Inside your store you can play anything you want but not outside in a public area.

STOP PLAYING MUSIC OUTSIDE YOUR STORE. Nobody loves this place in NY. It's tourist trap that doesn't have any respect for their neighborhood.

To avoid, they are thieves. We asked for the price because we wanted to pay in cash. Finally, we asked to pay by card and they charged more than articles' price tax included (8%). I don't recommend, to avoid.

This is a great place to get souvenirs. They have a large selection of items that are identical or very similar to the things you can find in the gift shops of famous places, but much more reasonably priced. I chose to get my Statue of Liberty souvenirs here rather than at the actual monument and was very pleased with the decision - the same items were much higher priced at the island ferry. I'm not sure if the store has a theft problem or if I looked particularly suspicious that day, but I was followed around a bit by one of the employees. However, he was helpful and polite so I can't complain. All in all, worth a stop for your typical trinkets and souvenirs!

Like other reviews, the charge on your card differs from the receipt. Our bill was 47.58 but the charge on our card was 49.88.

Bought a sweatshirt here last week. Washed it today and it shrunk like 2 sizes and the printing came off. Very disappointed.

They charged me more on the credit card for a 40$ purchase I just find out they charged me a 100€ I will report this to the authorities

All souvenirs you'd expect but WAY overpriced. Just buy the same stuff from Aliexpress for a fifth of the price when you go back home.
