We visited on a free open day. I am not sure I could justify $30 to visit, which is a real pity. I'm sure many many people who would love to visit simply cannot due to the cost. The museums were informative. The cultural performance was great. I really enjoyed wandering around taking it all in.

What a beautiful place. Very peaceful, it is a real tribute to the people of New Zealand. The museum's were incredibly interesting and I enjoyed learning a lot about our past.

Awesome history made even better by the fact that I went looking for my ggg grandfathers signature on the treaty itself. Found it but not on the original list as that was sent to Wellington archives. However, it's so cool to have gotten it anyway. Great walkaround to see other stuff in the museum and outside at the Wakas. Go for some educational experience. It's worth it 👌

Great layout interesting articles, we paid 60 dollar each which included walking tour with guide. CC the guide had an enormous knowledge of the history of this historical place. Maori performance/ceremony very lively and entertaining.

Great presentation and well maintained. Poor lighting in skme areas which made reading difficult. Would like to see costs reduced to attend more frequently

Awesome experience which will let you experience how the Treaty was signed and Maori culture, highly recommended for those who wants to know the roots of New Zealand

If you're interested in Moari & Pakeha family history and land claims you could probably spend a couple of days here doing some research. Here you will find the buying and selling of Moari land contracts and the treaty in much detail. It's a beautiful set-up and well worth the tour. I personally love anything to do with WW2 and The Waitangi Treaty Grounds has an entire building with detailed presentations and pictutorials for easy understanding. The shop there has Moari Art works created by well known talented New Zealand locals and are available to purchase. A must visit! 5 🌟 🤩

An educating destination of enormous national importance to Kiwis. The birthplace of NZ. Go visit you will not regret it.

😠 Me and my wife were in our honeymoon when we came across this place. We were interested to what it was. We were greeted by a nice lady, how ever she stood there and didn't let us process if we wanted to pay to go in (which we didn't) @$20 per person. We felt like we were pressured to go in. When we...
