π We visited on a free open day. I am not sure I could justify $30 to visit, which is a real pity. I'm sure many many people who would love to visit simply cannot due to the cost. The museums were informative. The cultural performance was great. I really enjoyed wandering around taking it all in.

ππ Amazing place! We had so much fun. There are so many birds and you can feed most of them! Lots of signs telling you who bites so you don't get caught. Staff were passionate and friendly. All the birds seemed happy and well cared for.

ππ You can visit here by taking a boat ride and its worth taking a trip of bay of island when you are in Paihia.
Our boat went through the hole in the rock (elephant rock) which was so cool. Also, we saw so many of dolphins during our trip.
