I booked a taxi with my little sister and we had 1.5 minutes to get in the taxi he served up a chicken donner with chips and salad for extra. Genuinely the best kebab I’ve had in my career - quality. Friendly, top lads and great meat. Ring me if you’re unsure

I rarely leave reviews but people need warning away from this place. We were on the river and decided to have F&C for dinner, walked up saturday early evening, ordered and were told 10 minute wait, which is okish I guess for fresh cooked fish. However it took 25 minutes - that is rubbish service given they weren't particularly busy. Having received our food, F&C twice, an extra fish and 1 mushy peas, we walked briskly back to the boat to eat them. Some of the very worst F&C I've ever had, batter was as hard as a roofing slate and almost as thick, the haddock was somehow over cooked and dry even though the inside of the overly thick batter was still a little underdone. The mountain of chips was underdone and completely colourless, and everything had been poorly drained of whatever foul tasting cheap oil they had cooked it in, plus the mushy peas were cold though we'd walked back fast enough that everything else was still hot, so they were obviously cold from the outset - NEVER EVER AGAIN

Always had great fish and chips from here. Never had an issue with any of the staff. Good prices for good food. Will definitely be visiting again.

We called in here on our way home for a cheeky kebab. All the food was really good, generous portions and fresh cooked. The photo is of the 'jungle meat' kebab which was pulled pork, chicken tikka, doner meat and chippy chips all on a fresh naan bread.

Sorry excuse for a chip shop, we ordered via just eat and was notified food was on the way… fast forward 35 minutes later still no food? Contacted the place on the phone and I get greeted with the rudest woman I’ve ever spoken with! Only asked where the food was & she hung up the phone. I called back and no joke a woman with the exact same voice answers…. I say “Hello I was just speaking with you about our order” she flat out denies ever speaking with me. Food then arrives 15 minutes later and as you can see by the picture Stevie Wonder could’ve cooked a better portion of chips! All rubbery & cold most of them looked like they’d been sat in the fryer since pre-covid. If you can cook better at home why would you bother paying for it? Delivery took 1 hour 20 minutes for 1 meal. When I called to chase up the order they couldn't have cared less. So, when the fold did turn up I thought maybe it would be worth the wait. WRONG. Fish was burnt and the chips were raw. Sauce that I paid for was out of date. Easily the worst fish and chips I've ever had and would never reorder.

Slow and quiet service, food was nice, hot and made fresh! No hygiene rating in the window and really grubby inside! If you’re desperate for food it is good because it tastes nice but you can easily find much better! Wouldn’t recommend.

Just had probably the worst chips/peas I’ve ever had the misfortune to eat. If only I could leave no stars. Soft, greasy, tasteless chips with more than half actually inedible due to having black spots. Also very ‘bitty’, barely any decent size chips. Presume substandard quality potatoes are being used to save money, a saving not passed onto the customer as two chips/peas cost a phenomenal £8.30!! The tasteless peas were so thick I could’ve used them to mortar slabs. If we hadn’t left town straight away I’d have returned for a refund. Shocking.

Food used to be nice once upon a time. Now disgusting food. Terrible service. Even a bad atmosphere in the place with people coming back asking for refunds! Avoid - very bad food

I recently had the Best wrap in the UK. I am a shawarma lover from India. Have been missing the good shawarma or chicken wrap in the UK. Have tried in few places like Swansea and London but haven’t tasted so good like this. The wrap itself was soft, yet sturdy enough to hold all the delicious fillings without apart. It was extra large pulled pork + chicken wrap. Good portion was generous leaving me fully satisfied without feeling overwhelmed and freshly made. This wrap is an absolute triumph in the realm of culinary delights. Treat yourself to this heavenly creation and prepare to be amazed. Trust me you won’t be disappointed.
