Absolutely delicious! The corned beef hash is top tier, my girlfriend and I had an amazing breakfast. Second time coming and many more to come, extremely friendly staff. Very home feeling place, would 100% recommend to anyone.

Great place for a quick bite for breakfast. Service is fast and friendly and the prices will save you a buck or two but the food will fill your belly. The menu was very much what you would expect for a mom and pop breakfast shop, especially in the Columbus exo-burbs - I usually reserve a 5 star review for a menu or ambiance that really stands out and offers something a little more adventurous, but this place nailed everything else. Overall, this was delicious and I was in and out in about 20 minutes. I would definitely come back again.

We ate here for our first time on 6-30-23 at about 930am in the area frequently and had a half hour to kill. I'd been craving a small town, cafe, feeling, and ironically found it in the "Big Apple Cafe," tiny and limited seating, but cozy and welcoming. Prices were incredibly cheap, food and service both incredibly quick. We were seated, ordered, and ate within thirty minutes. The staff was very friendly, and one thing I'd noticed was how incredibly hard they were all working. Literally, non-stop, miminal chatter. We were absolutely impressed at how a table was clear and reset within minutes. These employees work, and it shows. Food came out to perfection. Some of the best French toast I've had. My wife and I will be back often. Very recommended for breakfast, and as my wife said.. "Since when do you like breakfast?" , since The Big Apple Cafe!

Love finding highly recommended local spots when we travel, and this one did not disappoint. Good service, good breakfast, good prices! Fluffy scrambled eggs and pancakes. Bacon cooked how we requested. Would definitely return.

Great breakfast, just needed a Bloody Mary. They don’t serve alcohol. Servers were so nice. I’ll eat here again the next time I'm in Newark. Go here and be fat and happy.

The flavor of the food was ok, in this cleanly minimalistic cafe; however, the "double decker breakfast sandwich" my wife and daughter ordered to share, was pretty meager (see photo). The staff was nice, but busy. Prices were inexpensive.

No frills breakfast joint. Waffles looked great. Wish I had gone with an omelet instead of crab Benedict because I have an allergy to egg yolks and think omelet would have been better choice considering. Food was prepared perfectly and the staff couldn't have been faster or more attentive. Very reasonably priced as well. Great experience.

Had high expectations for this place based on the reviews but was underwhelmed. The service is really good and the food comes out really fast. It is clean but the floors to the restrooms are sticky. There are some good things about it but the key downside is portion sizes. My egg white omelette was probably the smallest I’ve ever had at a breakfast place. The veggies were plentiful but very little egg white. My hash browns were good and whole grain toast was nice as well. My wife’s burrito was tiny as well and her home fries were burnt. My son got the farmer omelet and he liked. It and it was a little bigger. They are really friendly and fast.

Had a delicious breakfast at Big Apple Cafe! I had the traditional eggs benedict, but the pancakes were the star of the show.

Big Apple (West Church St - main location), continues to impress and deliver excellent flavors and seasoned service staff. My wife and I like to visit on weekends. Big fan of their omelette’s, French toast and fast friendly service. The atmosphere is always buzzing. On occasion it can be a bit loud, some well placed wall noise absorbers would definitely help the acoustics. At times, seems like shouting. No place has a more consistent and friendlier group of service professionals. Highly recommend.

Cheapest but good breakfast in a long time! My husband and I ate for less than $25. Wait staff was great! They never stopped working. Atmosphere simple but attractive. Highly recommend!

The food was delicious, however the portions were really small on some items. The service was great! I would definitely return.
