Order from here almost weekly & the prices are so affordable! Highly recommend!

I paid $11.00 for an extra large pie and $10.00 for delivery. The pizza was a soggy and sloppy mess. The crust was paper thin and undercooked, no crunch at all! All I tasted was the extra cheese and too much of it! Big disappointment, I used to love this place. What happened? Smdh.

First time ordering from Gencarelli’s. Probably will be my last. I ordered the Stuffed Shells & 8pc Buffalo Wings. The pasta sauce for the Stuffed Shells was not tantalizing at all. The Shells themself were not good at all neither. The Buffalo Wings were extremely salty and inedible. First time in my adult life I didn’t finish Buffalo Wings. I paid $32 for the combo, and it was not worth it in any way, shape, or form. The total should have been $12, maybe. Hopefully they’re better known for their Pizza, rather than their dinners, but I would def not be trying this place again. Only reason I give it 2 stars is because I was expecting it to arrive in “1.5 Hours”, but it came in 30 Min. Def could not give it a recommendation to anyone. My first experience was not a good one at all.

The point serves up some Delicious pizza but those wings will cause someone to have hypertension and it won’t be me. I had to throw them out because the wings were simply too darn salty.

Unless Unreal Deli Vegan Sandwiches is an in-house entity like I learn of another store of which I'm unable to find a location on Google/Yelp because of it being like an in-house entity, I don't know what's going on with Unreal Deli Vegan Sandwiches having the same address as Gencarelli's Pizza Factory. Even so, I'm leaving à good review for Unreal Deli Vegan Sandwiches. I like subs. I like a good sandwich, yes, though cold subs particularly. Now, being in New Jersey AND Vegan, I'm glad about discovering Unreal Deli Vegan Sandwiches. I order The Reuben which is tasty though I don't mind a little more vinegar, salt, and pepper on a Reuben. The entire sandwich is firm-soft. I'm curious about the way other sandwiches might taste especially since Vegan meals can differ in taste so much per brand and/or type of Vegan meat. The Reuben travels well (tasty after about thirty minutes).

I’m usually stoked to order from Gencarelli’s. I’ve loved the pizza and the wings since I was a little girl, so much so I even had a birthday party there once. But my experience the last two times I ordered from Gencarelli’s was unfortunate and upsetting. The previous time I ordered they got my order wrong and when I notified them about this they told me “we have a new employee working here she made a mistake.” I told them I understood and would just like my order fixed and they told me it would be an additional $5 for the delivery. Not only did I have to pay for their inconvenience but the delivery driver was also nasty and impolite. Since the cashier on the other end of the phone was understanding, I decided that I’d try again. Today I ordered and they gave me whatever bootleg boneless wings these are. I wonder if its because of our unfortunate previous encounter or if they just find it funny. I’m sad to say that I won’t be ordering here anymore.

This place is a scam!!!! They charge $1 per pizza for credit card, then they charge another $2.03 on top of that to use the credit card, and then add some type of convenience fee onto the credit card after use. The original receipt never matched the final receipt. The pizzas are not made fresh. They make a bunch at the beginning of day and keep them on top of the oven so they stay hot. The pizza is not that good. There are a bunch of other places on that same street with better pizza. Don't waste your time believe the bad reviews!!!!

Classic style pizza....loved the $6 special. They offer large size slices @ great prices

Oh my god, if there was a perfect place where well priced pizza and delicious food met, I think I just found it. Gencarelli’s was quick to prepare my order, and when I left the store the aroma from my food was driving me crazy, I even had to eat two slices & some of the garlic bread in my car because it was that good. They say you can never go wrong with a simple pie, and they proved it, the pepperoni was amazingly hot and fresh, my mother talked about how she was a fan of the dough and I can see where she’s coming from. Overall and amazing place if you have simple appetite, and you want it filled for a great price!

I always order from here when I get pizza for my daughters school. They are professional, and the food is very good. I will always be a customer. You won't be disappointed I have tried other items on the menu that are very good as well!

Omg!!!!! I have been looking for a real Italian pizzeria for years..... I bumped into this one by chance and oh wow.... I ordered and the driver which was real nice and funny. He gets 5 stars too. We ordered 1 plain pie and 1 pepperoni with a Pepsi 2 liter. Everything was so good!!!! I'm never ordering from anywhere else thank you so much

I'm your average all American guy who needs pizza etc. During football Sunday or just in the mood I personally choose here it's close fast and tasty 🍕 Go GIANTS!

Pizza taste so good, cheesy and crispy. Definitely finger licking good. Great prices also. They sell other Italian items and sandwiches as well. You can buy a cheese slice for $1.50.

Use to be my favorite pizza spot until I call today to get my regular order of excheese pizza half pepperoni she tell me I have to spend 25 dollars when my order is already nineteen dollars. You'll lost a good customer.

I went Friday 9/8/23 and service was not good. I called ahead and ordered 1-wings, 2-tenders w fries and I asked for a pie the size of the same one they use to sell for 5$ on bloomfield ave. I WAS GIVEN A SMALL PIE, TENDERS HAD NO FRIES( when i called and ordered i was told it was included) so 4 tenders for 15$ is Ridiculous! I asked for my fries and after paying 57$ they wanted to charge me more. It was not my error should have been comp. CASHIER is clueless on whats on the menu, what goes with what. Though they weren't rude they were lost and didn't provide good customer service. Me and my very big family of 10 siblings have been coming here since we were kids. You just lost 10 big families of customers since we are all adults. They moved and upcharged all their prices but alot. Do better

This is a hodge podge of restaurants not just Gencarellis this place has maybe a dozen plus "restaurants" the kitchen is cooking for. And as far is the pizza goes its bad everything there seems like its missing something there food isn't filling at all kinda like eating air. The service is great but the food and price for what you get isn't correlating. Do yourself a favor and PLEASE just pass up on this place your better off either not eating or eating air.

I've ordered Burgers and pizza couple of times, but this time burgers were overcooked this. Cheese pizza was good. I'll probably order again in the future.

Over 35 minutes for two slices and missed my meetings. They said it would take 15 minutes. Time management is not their skill set.

I was having a kids party , waited 2 hours for 3 pies. When the pies arrived the boxes were soggy from sitting so long & the pies were cold. This place has gone down the drain.

Good pie, thin crust— good sauce, super fast delivery on Door Dash, good low prices. Kids loved the mozzarella sticks. White pizza was a hit. Will use again.

Lifetime No Newark resident and first time customer. Ordered pizza and spaghetti to go, just want to say I’m no kid and I’ve eaten in a loot places but I was thoroughly surprised by the taste and quality of your food. I will be back. For the first time I ordered something other than pizza. Spaghetti special was a grave disappointment. The meatballs were definitely not homemade. The were watery and mushy. The pasta was a little under cooked and the sauce was bland, tasted like it was straight out of the can.

This pizza is authentic cooked to perfection flavorful, & tasty👌.. I don't even get the $8 pies anymore (try extra cheese, fresh garlic, mushrooms, green peppers, half sausage half pepperoni 😉).. reminds me of NYC.. Gencarekli's.. for-get a bout it!! (Not crispy If that's what you like)❗

Recently gave this pizzeria a try, five stars across-the-board!! Had me back 2x in one week , great deals & quality ingredients & taste ! I am a big pizza fan and after having to change from my local pizzeria due to customer service lacking , I’m So glad I’ve found this local shop !

I ordered pizza for take out and as I waited and started to look around there were mouse droppings all over the place. In every corner of the floor, window seal and countertops right next a basket where exposed napkins for people to grab. I was totally turned off. They need to be shut down and embarrassed. They had a full house and was having a full convo when the place didn’t look wiped down swept or mopped for months. Pretty sure they had an infestation.

Good pizza. I only have an issue with their buffalo wings. Their buffalo wings are perfectly cooked. The problem? They ruin their wings with too much seasoning. If they cut down on the salt, garlic powder, or whatever type of seasoning they put on their wings by 25-50 percent their wings would be perfect. If they'd did that then, in my opinion, they'd have the best wings among the restaurants I order wings from. Another issue is that when they send you wings with a side of blue cheese or ranch dressing, for some reason, they put the side dressing container literally on top of the wings. It makes you have to pull the containers out of the batch of wings and wipe the sauce off the little containers. Plus the idea that someone just touched that container and stuck it in your wings is very inconsiderate and would probably make people reluctant to buy food there. Fix those issues and I'd order from there again.
