The event was very special. The venue and the set up was perfect for an intimate night of stories from such a dark complicated mind like Poe. The actors had such passion and feeling for their work. I am not a huge Poe fan but my wife IS and we both enjoyed this very much. The pairing of the drinks were a prefect mix. I would see this again and bring friends for the experience. The price point was perfect for the show and drinks. Your money is worth the experience

The Edgar Allen Poe’s Speakeasy event was a wonderful experience. All of the drinks were tasty, my favorite was The Cat’s Meow. The performers were all excellent.

Such a fun experience. The performers were amazing. The cocktails were paired well with each reading.

Each story was told with passion and suspense. The drinks that went along with it were delicious. Definitely will do something like this again.

Vintage venue in the underappreciated and maligned city of Newark, take an opportunity to visit for any performance. Professional and friendly staff contributed to a fun night out.

This evening, I attended - Candlelight: A Haunted Evening of Halloween Classics Absolutely 💯 phenomenal!!!!

Great atmosphere and vibe. We really liked the way everything flowed. The actors were great and fun cocktails. Definitely a great way to spend a couple of hours.

Terrace Ballroom is newly renovated!! The comedy night is the third Thursday of every month. 7:45pm-11pm. $30 up. I had fun and food. Street parking for now.
