UPDATE 2/26/2021. ***** They need to lower the prices, or nobody is going to eat there! Just ate there with my wife, TWO plates of food, no drinks or dessert. $57.00. Included tax and tip! Ridiculous! $15 a pound! Rice, beans, some vegetables, and some meat!. I couldn’t believe it! The food is good, but at those prices....NO WAY! They just renovated and reopened the place...great service, the food is super fresh and delicious.

Parking nearby is not easy. Food is paid by weight. Always nutritious with very good flavor. The grilled and diversified meats always taste like a good barbecue. Delicious desserts. Very nice staff, always helpful. Overpriced compared to other restaurants on the area.

First time dinning here and i must say I’ll definitely come back. The meat served were so tender, well seasoned and it melts in your mouth. The serve the meats fresh from the grill with all the juice sizzling. This restaurant is family friendly, wheelchair accessible. They also have a lot of desert options to choose from. They do have an option for guest to brink in their own liquor since they don’t sell any alcohol. Will definitely come back.

Very pleasant staff and clean. The food was ok but I felt some of the meats were to thick or look like fat or medium rare however, this is my taste my husband loved being in meat heaven. It depends on your choice in taste I did like the buffet area I would go back again but would stick to the buffet table. There was no temperature checks, no one ask for vaccine card and some staff members had mask and many customers coming in had no mask which can make some people confused.

Great place with great service and a vast selection of food. Even if you don't pay for the meat option the food bar has plenty of choices to a great meal. However, the best thing was the service - Andre, went above and beyond providing great service. Food was delicious, meats were well cooked and seasoned, the only bad thing was the cheese bread (there was an issue with the oven). Will definitely go back.

Don't be fooled by the old reviews. This place used to be a middle class restaurant with excellent food and service. However it has more recently gone through a serious makeover. You can review the pictures to see the before and after. Only the name is the same. I visited last night and had a horrible experience. They have attempted to transform the restaurant into an upscale establishment by changing the tables, décor and lighting. However the quality of the food has really gone down. Most of the well-done barbecue I asked for was completely dry and just inedible. It seemed like they gave me the meat that had been grilling all night. What made the experience MUCH worse is that all the nice humble waiters of this restaurant have also been replaced by a very snobby group of individuals. Expect to be greeted by queen bees who act like they are superior to you. Expect staff who act like they are doing you a favor by letting you dine in their restaurant. Especially watch out for the behavior of two guys by the grill. I have not experienced such arrogant attitudes even at top Manhattan restaurants. I wonder who these guys think they are. When I complained that the meat was way too dry they gave me a rude answer that the this is how well done is supposed to be. When leaving I was told to pay the bill to the cashier at the entrance. When I approached the cashier, I saw that one of the guys from the grill was at the desk. He told me to wait a minute and slowly walked to the very back of the restaurant, slowly poured himself a glass of water and finished it before coming back to the desk. However when he finally came back, he started seating the new customers who had accumulated behind me at the entrance. He ignored me waving the number I had been handed reminding that I was already in line waiting to pay. I was standing at the cashier's desk for over 10 minutes before I was able to pay my bill. Afterwards he did not feel the need to apologize or thank me. He did not even make eye contact. I believe he me wait so long just to be disrespectful. It feels like I and my family have paid money to have been treated like trash. In the past years I visited this restaurant every other week. It is sad to see how bad it has gotten. I will not dine here again.

Really good food! Go for the all you can eat dinner.

Went yesterday here haven't been here since before the renovation early 2020. It does look very nice more upscale , but it's was all the same food wize just over priced new buffet options fried rice and fresh bread. I got the rodizio n buffet, they bring the meats to you now since your paying more. I have to say i would of been better going to texas roadhouse n buying a $30 steak then the meat options they were serving. All the meat was bland, tough , no salt or any taste of a true rodizio , i tasted 1 by one and nothing top serloin a little flavor from the fat, but that's it , i said ok lets try chicken n bacon at least the bacon fat will give it that salty taste, noting plus chicken was super dry. At the end for a party of 1 it came out to around $46 they added the tip themselves with out asking, i understand for large groups but not for a party of 1 , I paid full price no coupons, very disappointed , would definitely recommend Brazilia grill off ferry st or bona brasa down the street.

New place...very good food. Clean. Lots of options.

The food was amazing, very flavorful and really delicious. The variety in the buffet will allow for a personal and unique experience. The staff was very kind and attentive which was really nice, and it made my family and I feel very welcome. The meats are just magnificent, I haven’t had such great meats in such a long time. I recommend coming with family and friends as it’s such a beautiful place with great music and staff. 10/10 would recommend and will come back for some more!

Best Brazilian restaurant in Newark. The buffet is extremely good , with a lot of options. The barbecue is one of the best I have tried, very fresh and tasty. The ambiance is so nice and cozy, and the staff is very friendly and welcoming. Andre is a very funny and kind server. Highly recommend this place .

Good food, good service spacious and a little too over priced

Customer service was great. Everything else was horrible!! Nets were flying all over the food on the buffet. It was so nasty and unsanitary! Food on the buffet looked like it had been sitting up there all day! We were only in there for about 15 minutes and couldn't stand it. We had to leave! Horrible experience. Do not eat here if you care about cleanliness!

Wow! What an amazing place for Rodizio! The meats were so good, the salad bar and buffet was on point, and the staff was excellent! We will return as soon as possible. It was an easy 5 star rating!

Service was great. Buffet is clean and tastes fresh. We went towards the end of the night so there weren’t too many choices of meat left. Meat was tasty, but most was medium to medium well. The buffet had many great sides that tasted amazing! It is definitely worth the price. It’s A great value for AYCE. I would try this place again for lunch or earlier on the in the day.

Fantastic place to dine; I did the basic package with about 8 other friends. A variety of meat options with waiters, and more importantly sides that are very traditional. Reasonably priced for a steakhouse too, especially in Newark NJ. The gentleman who served us was incredibly kind and helped me pick out a traditional dessert. I’d recommend coming here for a BDay party.

Went here for a quick bite to satisfy the inner-carnivore with family. Table carved meats were all really good. The salad bar was mostly good as well. The meal price was also very friendly, given the prices of nearby competition. The only knock is the suffocating traffic of the neighborhood, and non-existent parking. Fortunately, they have a valet service for $5., worth it, and worth the trip👍

Stop don't buy the Groupon I bought two deals for Christmas gifts daughter just drove by today and there is a big violation from the city of Newark it's been closed down for health reasons. Unfortunately I only received like 75% back as a refund and this ad is still appearing on Groupon what a shame
