This place is a diamond in the rough for homeless people who need simple but uncommon "homely services" they provide meals free of charge, showers, laundry, syringe access, and use of computer. And I'm probably unaware of a few other services theyb offer but I know they have a doctor onsite who will see you even if you don't have Medicaid but any follow up appointments will require medicaid.. the place is very useful for anyone homeless and struggling!!

The staff is very accommodating. Everyone is very professional & compassionate. I have alot of problems. They helped me to manage my problems. Also if you have a substance abuse problem. You can get new syringes no questions asked. In one section they call the needle exchange. When you're ready for help. They can offer you different types care with referrals for treatment. I personally think NJCRI is the best place I've ever been to. They work with aids, hepatitis, & mental problems. Anxiety, depression, bipolar,. Our community needs more places like this. Good luck, Peter Malato

Very friendly and helpful staff. Loved my new doctor. Dr Eileen Scarinci. She took her time and was very thorough. Not like many doctors I've had the misfortune of meeting.

These people are the most caring, generous, kind and genuine people I've come across in a very long time. They've restored my faith in humanity.

Came here awhile ago, they were super helpful, informative, and gave me everything I needed. This place saves lives, and I’m so grateful it exists.

Great for everything from taking a shower to eating breakfast or lunch. Also there are a few addiction programs that actually help because they care!

This place goes above and beyond for the community... They gave me a hand up not a handout.. and I ran with it . The love in that central ave build is unreal... If you or anyone you know needs resource's of any kind.. visit NJCRI.

Tried to set up a psychiatry appointment with NJCRI after moving to NJ, so I wouldn’t run out of important psychiatric medication, they set up an appointment and then ghosted me. Have left several voicemails but have heard nothing from them and have been going through medication withdrawal for days now. Would not recommend. UPDATE: They called again a few days after this review was written, as if nothing had ever happened. They seemed completely ignorant and uncaring to the fact that by this point I had nearly reached the end of med withdrawal. They set up another intake appointment over the phone and that did actually happen this time. But then the next appointment (the one with the actual psychiatrist) was another ghost. I’ve fully come off of the medication now and NJ CRI is at fault for this. If you care about your mental health at all, please don’t go here. If I find a good place for mental health services that takes Medicaid, I’ll update this review with it.

This is a great community resource. It does everything health related you can think of for the north jersey community. Currently vaccinations are their focus. The staff is a caring and friendly group of professionals. You are in good hands if you avail yourself of their services and good person if you support their work.

Extremely kind and receptive doctors and staff. An unimaginable number of services. Gay friendly. Genuinely seeking to help. If you have an illness for which there's no present cure, they even offer the option of getting into clinical trials. Financially flexible. It's been a great blessing for me to have found this place.

I haven’t been there in years and idk what made me think of this place but I figured I’d write a review. I never do reviews for average experiences. The few reviews I have done were bc my experience was either wonderful or terrible. Now, like I said, I haven’t been here in years- but, if it is ran the same way with the same people working I would say that I’ve always had a very positive experience. All the staff were so sweet and nonjudgmental and I truly believe they care about the people who come in there. If anyone who still works there from 5 years ago(lol) thank u for being so kind during one of the hardest periods of my life.

Very unprofessional. Online and pre printed info states that 3pm is the deadline for drug screenings and she refused to screen me and it was only 2pm. After explaining to her the information that was given she still refused to screen me. Her assistant didn't let me explain much, she was focused on sending me the other way. The lady who actually does the screenings didn't even come to the desk to speak to me. Horrible service I wouldn't go there again if my life depended on it
