Been
twice
but
I
want
to
review
this
one
time.
Popped
into
today
for
some
nosh
with
the
wife.
The
decor
is
lovely,
the
tables
clean
and
the
seating
comfortable.
We
got
a
bottle
of
water
with
ice
and
lemon
on
the
table.
So,
we
was
served
by
a
waiter
called,
James.
A
lovely
gent
whom
was
helpful
and
attentive
and
very
friendly.
We
just
had
mains
and
a
pud.
We
got
the
surf
and
turf
fillet
with
a
lobster
tail
served
rare.
It
took
around
ten-fifteen
minutes
to
arrive,
in
that
time
we
had
a
few
cocktails
and
didn’t
notice
the
wait.
The
steak
was
beautifully
cooked
rare,
the
lobster
tail
was
excellent,
my
onion
loaf
was
lovely
and
we
bother
got
lovely
peppercorn
sauce
was
a
delight.
We
got
sides
of
greens,
Mac
‘n’
cheese
and
garlic
mushrooms,
all
fantastic.
We
got
a
pud
of
Apple
&
Rhubarb
crumble,
one
with
custard
and
one
with
ice
cream.
I
found
the
crumble
a
little
sweet,
but
that
was
cut
down
by
the
rhubarb
filling.
The
custard
was
outstanding.
It
was
a
moderately
expensive.
But
it
was
well
worth
it.
We
left
full,
happy
and
a
bit
out
of
pocket
but
you
need
to
treat
yourself.
Recommend?
Definitely.
Great
staff,
great
food
and
simply
a
beautiful
place
for
steak
lovers.
Negatives:
none,
just
the
cocktail
julep
had
a
lot
of
ice.
A
minor
criticism
for
such
a
lovely
day.
Get
yourself
along,
you
can
get
cheaper
nosh
on
the
menu
if
you
don’t
fancy
splashing
the
cash.
