Never leave reviews but this place was shocking tonight! We had a booking for a large party and a few people were late but the attitude of the servers was 🤢 terrible. At the end when splitting up the bill I had paid my part but was held at the door by security as there was still an outstanding balance, even though 10+ guests including the couple that booked were still there. Even after confirming we had paid they still didn’t want to let us leave. Have never experienced that before. Plus the food was mediocre at best, served late with a side of attitude. Only nice things were the decor and cocktails.

The amount of young women that have reported being attacked or spiked here is quite literally staggering! The manager doesn't care either! Doesn't check past credentials of staff and doesn't take reports about staff seriously either! Check reviews closely on other public platforms such as facebook for a better idea of just how common attacks are here. This place needs investigated and shut down ASAP! Avoid this place like the plague!!!

I enjoy clubbing in wafi lounge. Until one of guys in charge spoke so rudely. He even threatened he could refund our money, that guy must have been a racist, he even told the security to throw us out of the club. Just because our table was beside a white guy’s table and the guy told them he doesn't want us close to his table. Very bad customer management.

Beautiful place. Pay £5 to get in year you want access to the restaurant only. Wait 15 minutes before waitress comes to take your order. While waiting you ain’t allowed to go to the lounge and dance , so you sit and stare 30 minutes or more. Yet they call it the same establishment. Inside is beautiful and classy. Food is faultless it’s the service that leaves a metallic taste

We were a table of 13 and pre booked. There were two waitresses serving us. We waited ages for our drinks. When we asked one waitress who was walking past our table where our drinks were she ignored us. I placed my food order and ordered a starter. We waited a very long time for our food. Continually asking when it would be ready. My starter did though arrive before mains dishes. My mains dish didn't arrive because my order wasn't taken. I had to go to the till to sort it out. It still didn't arrive. Eventually the other waitress sorted it out. So I ate after everyone else. The food was tasty but dry. Had to order Tahina sauce that was extra to pay for to make it better. Overall, the service was terrible. They said they would give me my meal on the house. They didn't and charged for it. I didn't sort out the bill so only found out afterwards. Would I go back. One word - NO.

Went here with my family for some food, this place is lovely with friendly staff. We ordered a King Wafi Mixed Grill, Mixed Special Seafood and a Pepperoni Pizza. The Mixed Grill was tasty probably enough for 2 people, my wife loved the Chicken Shawarma and i loved both the Lamb Chops and Shish although all was tasty tbh, as for the Special Mixed Seafood, the grilled Sea Bass was lovely with nice big chunks of fish flaking off the bone however the King Prawns needed way less cooking which was a shame as they were big and meaty prawns, they were just too dry and way overcooked. The Pizza was delicious, my son loved it, he was to full to eat it all with all his chips too. All in all we had a great experience here and would definitely go back, oh and the Shiraz wine we had to was really nice too! excluding the prawns it would have been 5 stars 👍😁👌

Authentic Lebanese Joint. We had Zeit Ou Zatar, Lebanese olives, vegetable biryani, chicken baryani, hommos, bread, and dessert Baklava. Amazing food, we loved all of it. The staff was courteous, and the service was prompt. Must Visit.

Wafa's food is delicious, and their customer service is best in class. You're welcomed when you walk in, and your order is taken shortly after seating. The portions are spot on, and the wait time is very reasonable. The hosts and servers are kind and attentive but not overbearing. The restaurant and lounge are nicely decorated. The customer toilets are ample, clean, and NOT freezing in winter. After two dine-ins and a takeaway, Wafa is quickly becoming a family favourite.

Everything was good, except the wash Ròom ( just one star). The little girl at the first floor was nice and friendly. I monitored she was greeting everyone with a Smile. Five stars for service is actually for her. Salad was tasting vinegar and I don't like that taste at all.

Excellent food served by lovely staff. I could not have asked more for the price, which was very good value. Presentation was as good as the top class salad and first rate grilled small chicken. Lebanese food tends to be at the top of the tree.

Often head here as a large group. We state a budget and they bring food. The fatoush salad is amazing as is the shawarma.

3 years living in newcastle. First time I tried this place today. The food just blew me away. The grill was the perfection that I had been looking for since I came to UK. The food the quality. I am blown and today onwards I shall be a very very regular to this place. A 100% score to this place in my opinion.

Good food and good vibes. Their milkshake is amazing and their is also a bar on the top floor with a restaurant on the lower floor. If you go with a group of 6 to dine in there will be a mandatory service charge which is also stated on the menu. Overall good experience and would recommend.

I visited the restaurant for a dinner and it exceeded my expectations indeed. The service was excellent by a friendly staff. The food was delicious and well served, though it took long time. The price is in the high side but worth the money. What I mostly liked about it is the restaurant and Cafe are in separate sections, which is good for non smokers. Then, I went to the Cafe in the same place and enjoyed my Shisha, though the double-apple was too heavy for me, I don't like Alfakher :). Overall, it was a nice experience and worth visiting again.

The food was amazing, far better and authentic than anywhere I've eaten on Edgware Rd, in Manchester, Leicester or Nottingham. 100% I shall be coming again. Staff were very friendly and helpful. They made me feel very welcomed and I could not leave without giving my compliments to the chef himself.

Unfortunately, I had a bad experience with who’s serving the hookah as they are not familiar of how to prepare good hookah. In addition, the staff of the restaurant & were not that good and not caring about the customers at all. Important Note: the staff are racism of where you are coming from. Lastly, I don’t recommend wasting your time & money to visit it/ BR

Came a few days ago for a meal with my girlfriend, it was quite busy in the restaurant but the service was still very quick. The food was delicious, we were served by a young lad named Ahmed who was very polite and helpful.

Fab place, good menu, delicious food, really fresh. Cocktail menu looked good but as it was dry Jan, we opted for a non alcoholic cocktail, which was really refreshing.

I've been here three times now. There are some good dishes and others are not freshly cooked or very greasy. The staff are not friendly at all . I just go there when there is no where to go. Could be improved with little effort if the owner cares enough for the business.
