I arrived at the walk-in center on 27/2/22 at 8am and was the first person to be seen. I Went because my throat was badly swallow, when I was swallowing it was like razor blades. I was told it was viral, which I’ve never had symptoms like this, and I felt stupid for wasting her time. And told to get some spray from the chemist, which I did at boots Kingston park. That never worked it got that bad that I went to the minor injuries at the rvi who then transferred me to the freeman hospital. I was given steroids, antibiotics, fluids and painkillers all via intravenous. I could take nothing orally. And in fact I was told I had a serious abscess from the right side of my mouth going down my throat. I couldn’t open my mouth fully and badly dehydrated. I will never go there again! If you do then always get a second opinion. I’ve only added one star because it wouldn’t let me post.

An Absolutely wonderful service. I have had to use the walk-in centre twice in one week due to not being able to get an appointment with my local surgery. On both occasions, I was greeted by friendly reception staff and treated by two amazing nurses both times. They need to visit my surgery and show them how it’s done properly. Friendly kind and professional. Thank you

This health Center is fantastic, from reception to nurses to Doctors. My toddler was seen today who I brought in for a possible UTI. He was diagnosed by the most amazing doctor and nurse, they were so lovely to him and calmed him down, because he’s not a big fan of doctors with masks. Was prescribed Antibiotics straight away. Got stickers and was well worth the 1 h wait. Since I can’t even get through a phone call at my GP. This Center is always my first go to when in need. Thank you !

In the past three days, I have used this walk in center to treat the wound on my back. The reception staff here are very patient and friendly, they are so nice. I received help from two different nurses in the past three days. All of them are very patient, friendly and professional. Thank you so much.

Went in after stabbing my self in the hand with a kitchen knife, worried there was internal damage, was fobbed off by a rude nurse who told me there was nothing wrong and nothing could be done. When asked why it hurt so much he told me “well you stabbed your self with a knife obviously it’s going to hurt”. When I asked for a plaster or bandage to cover it to prevent infection he seemed positively shocked. The man was so rude and dismissive to me I was reduced to tears.

Can't help, won't help! I took my son once and was sent to A&E (so waited for hours twice!) Went for myself, waited 2 hours to be seen, no help given. Left in tears. Thanks for nothing!

Members of staff are incredibly rude. Asked my partner to sit outside(!) For no reason - there was plenty of room in the waiting room. Tried to make a complaint against said member of staff - and was told that I can't make a complaint as they don't want me too. If you want to be treated like a dog - come here!

This evening I had the privilege of witnessing exemplary service and care provided by a dedicated General Practitioner. The level of compassion and expertise displayed throughout my visit was truly outstanding. The Dr. took the time to listen attentively to the my concerns, provided clear explanations, and offered a well-thought-out treatment plan. I felt valued, heard, and confident in the care I received. It's evident that this Dr. goes above and beyond to ensure the well-being of his patients. Thank you.

3 hour wait for a nurse to open my mouth and ask me to say ah and diagnosis it’s likely viral cold and go home and take paracetamol. Absolutely ridiculous that their was no dr or bloods/urine sample can be taken, what a waist of time second opinion pending😳

Visited this place when my doctors kept fobbing me off with my 2 year olds illness as a viral infection. Turned out to be extremely poorly with strep around the time when the surge happened throughout the UK. Thankfully the receptionist (who are an absolute angels sent from above) and the doctors listened to my concerns and after a hefty 6 hour wait we were home with antibiotics which worked a treat and my boy was back happy and healthy. Amazing place! (Usual wait isn't this long, there was a ton of poorly kids in the waiting room all with the exact same thing)

I was seen earlier than the expected waiting time today by a lovely nurse, Gill Simkamba, who examined me and ensured I had medication to take away and information in case of issues abroad, all with a sense of humour, kindness and support . Thank you so much !

I used the walk in centre today and was treated by a nurse. It's never nice having to go to the doctors, but the staff were professional and the nurse who treated me was so helpful and kind and made the whole experience so much better. Thank you so much!

An hour and a half wait then was seen by a very rude nurse who basically told me my foot problem was not an emergency and it wasn't even worth her looking at it as she wouldn't be able to do anything. Referred me back to my GP who had in turn fobbed me off too. Bloody disgrace of a system 😑

Excellent service. Good to see them asking those with chest/throat things to mask. Would be good if they didn’t use the wheelchair accessible window as a nook to pop the waste bin into though. Not sure the stacks of stuff on the desk in front would be the greatest either for making a wheelchair user feel welcome.

From the minute I arrived til I was seen the care I received was amazing. I didnt have an appointment via 111 i was just a walkin. The receptionist was very welcoming, I didnt have to wait long at all and the nurse was kind but super efficient. Overall it was well organised. Can't thank all the lovely staff enough my ear is a million times better and im am far less miserable 🤣

This star is literally only for the guy in the ent department when we had to come last he was very helpful however has to come here for an ultrasound scan and the women were awkward not sure why and it made me feel really uncomfortable, the the reception is also set out so that you are all hundled in the middle of the room facing each other so your sitting there with about 5 people breathing on you, but if you were all facing one way it would make much more sense not sure why it's set out like that

A very very rude and arrogant receptionist lady would destroy whole your day just a second after arrival time.

I tried this walk in centre today. I have had facial cancer treatment & woke with a painful discharging ear I took a letter with me from my consultant as to what treatment i had had for these recurrent ear infections in the past ( the last 4 months ago) I appreciate that they are not ENT specialists but thought as I had proof of previous treatments it would help. They contacted ENT at FRH and this is were the confusion of the treatment offered apparently came from No ear drops as I have a perforation yet on the letter I took from previous it clearly states I had a perforation & was given ear drops as treatment which worked. I was told that Flucloxacillin was to be prescribed I declined as I've never had this antibiotic for this problem in the pasted so I left. My husband then contacted ENT & I went to be assessed & they stated they hadn't mentioned Flucloxacillin or that I couldn't have ear drops? I will take whichever antibiotic if a swab has been take & grown a specific bug but I don't want to take a systemic drug without clear indication. The staff at the walk in centre where without question polite but I felt I wasn't being listened to.

The service I got here was as good as my regular GP. The young Scottish lady I saw was excellent, competent and professional. She diagnosed an inner ear issue, gave me the pills I needed and I was fine within 72 hours. Thank you 👍

I have issues with anxiety and agoraphobia and I had to leave a review because the lady I dealt with was amazing! I’m so sorry to have not taken her name. I was booked for X-ray and panicked when I got to the X-ray room. The lady offered to go and get my friend for me and was very quick as she was aware that I was uncomfortable. She even offered to let me leave the back way as it was quicker. Whoever you were thank you so much you made it so much easier for me.
