Value for money and great products if you choose wisely. Great for students or who wants to buy in budget. The quality is good too compared to the prices. There are different sections for mens, women's and kids.

I have been to many Primark's, mostly because my daughter is weirdly into them. I have distilled her obsession down to the fast fashion pocket money prices. No great shakes there, BUT, we went to Newcastle and after several years living in a monochrome world of outfits Primark Newcastle suddenly motivated her to buy COLOUR. This was in no way a hyperbolic big deal in our small pointless existences. Well done to this shop.

The products here are nice and affordable. Really like the Tasty cafe on the top level, selling products from Greggs. It is a wonderful place for people who want to be thrifty.

Upon entering the Newcastle Primark, I was immediately struck by the vastness of the store. It spans multiple floors, each housing an extensive collection of clothing, accessories, homeware, and more. While the layout can be slightly overwhelming, it allows for easy navigation through various departments. On busy days, the store can get quite crowded, but the staff does an admirable job of keeping the checkout lines moving efficiently. The prices here are hard to beat, making it an ideal spot for budget-conscious shoppers or those looking to update their wardrobe without breaking the bank. From trendy clothing to basic essentials, you can find a wide range of styles for men, women, and children. The selection is constantly updated with new arrivals, ensuring that there's always something fresh to discover during each visit. The fitting rooms are well-maintained, and the availability of mirrors throughout the store helped me to make better-informed decisions.

From my recent visit to the store I got the impression that primark had let its standard of quality start to fall off . It was never top end quality stuff but it was good and at a very reasonable price , it may have been that it was Christmas and it was busy and things weren't as organised or tidy as normal which gives a bad impression straight away , only time will tell when the spring lines appear on the shelves , hopefully they will up their game again and be the store they once were .

Staff here are absolutely lovely, especially a gentleman called Rahiib who is one of the most kind heart warming retailers I have ever met. An absolute model employee of what customer service represents with how welcoming he is. Really fantastic to see that.

Reasonable priced popular shop. Something for everyone here. From mens to womens, baby homecare and even but, something for the old and for the young. You will find primark top end of Northumberland Street, nearer Hay market metro station which is 2 mins away. About 5 mins away you have monument Station. Not far is 2 bus stations. The shop today was clean enough and the staff pleasant and friendly. It has escalators and lifts to all floors Right at the top is cafe and toilet unfortunately you can only use them if you use the cafe, bad news if you're desperate for the toilet😔lol. It has wheel chair access and the lift is big enough for wheelchair so you can get to all floors. Plenty of shops and restaurants and even fast food outlets are close by, so you won't starve whilst shopping. Eldon square is 1 minute away. My main visit today was to return pair of shoes, only because they were bit small for me. The cashier gave me a refund for them no bother, good job I kept the receipt and it was within the 28 day return policy. The cashier was more than happy to help.Although the queue was pretty long as they only have tills open on one floor. They have few tills open so goes down pretty quickly. Yes I will return as I visit this shop regularly with my family and friends😊X No change with primark only seasonal change on clothes that's it. Really nice stuff in at the moment x

I wish I had gone here first before going to other shops. Its prices were the best and had great variety to choose from both men, women and home sections. Christmas decorations and other home items were priced just right, with great quality. It's my first choice for now!😊

It is relatively considered one of the cheapest stores in the UK They have a variety of goods from clothing, to footwears, head wears, and other basic amenities of life Well in all fairness, the prices of their goods are somewhat fair compared to those of the neighbouring stores with the same value Although I have spotted a few differences between goods in primarks and those bought at higher prices from other stores, in terms of quality. Yet, primark will still be my favourite store for most of my basic needs

Very busy in store due to xmas shoppers. Looked untidy due to clothing needing folding or hanging back up. Children were running around store throwing clothing around and no one seemed to care. Good prices though and plenty of stock.

Great place to shop for fashionable clothing. Affordable and has a large and greasy variety of products. Their kids clothing line is the best amongst other competing brands and is really affordable

Pros: Lots of stock Staff are always helpful (despite how tired they must be from the heat) Great communication from staff with one another to ensure you get the items you need. Wonderful accessible service Cons: Shop floor is inevitably always a mess (specifically the tables on the first floor that have the £8 jumpers on them) Very hot Always waiting around 25/30 mins to be served

Horrible store, always messy. Charged me full price for a pack of socks that were missing a pair. Asked for a refund or some sort of resolution but staff were useless. Male manager on the ground floor tills was unfriendly and miserable. For the sake of 5quid, they’ve lost a customer. Wouldn’t even give it one star. Don’t recommend, won’t be shopping again.

Some decent underwear, however shop is constantly rammed, people walking into you back and forth. Shop is absolutely boiling hot, not sure if the heating is on full blast or what but feel light headed after I’ve been in stressful experience.

Me and my wife were in Newcastle's Primark store on the 27th of October, in the men's clothes department. A gentleman called Paul was replenishing the shirt rails. I was unsure of the sizes, so he willingly unwrapped one for me to judge. His help was amazing, Thanks Paul. I ended up buying three shirts.

Whenever I fly over to visit the relatives, this is my to go shop and buy loads of good clothes in bigger size for my kids so that it last for a few years. So much good looking clothes... I wish we had a Primark in Canada.. It's simply amazing.

Too many clothes lying on the floor. Fitting rooms were closed on some of the floors. Too many escalators or lifts that just mean you spend so much time going in a lift or up and down the escalators. Prices are not always that good. Sizes on the clothes can be one size yet different on the tag. Saw a pair of trousers that had a size 12 on the label but a 14 on the ticket so wasn't sure what size they should have actually been. Long queues that's an understatement it's ridiculous that not more tills are open. Fitting rooms also only have a curtain round which they look dirty and you never know if some child is going to pull it back when you are trying anything on, why did they not put a door on. The security at the doors look rather bored. Not sure about Primark anymore. You can't use the toilet unless you use the cafe, really how ridiculous most big clothes shops have toilets you can use regardless of you buy anything or not and they don't seem to mind.

My favourite shop. Got an amazing jumper in vibrant colours and a pair of orange jeans. You couldn't miss seeing me in the dark. And they have lots of lifts so I don't have to wait for ages.

Cheap clothes. But staffs are careless. I bought one trousers price was 5 pound discount. I try to pay it. They said 10 pound. I showed them price label 🏷️ then they just demonstrate call someone talk. Then ohh we will do for you 5 pound. So careful please when pay it. We are not earn money easy.

I had a list for once only wanted some wool tights and an oversized super warm jumper, I got the jumper for £14 it's so long could wear as a dress and my tights I went all out with the thermal lined (to keep warm) £3.50 a pair I got 2 different styles one plain and one with a zigzag kind pattern first time I've been in ages and rather pleased with my purchases 👍👍 2 thumbs up 😊

Budget friendly place to do shopping specially winter clothings. They have a large variety of collection as well. Spacious shop, there are a lot of things you can buy. Love their collection.

Most of clothes are in one size on the shelves ( at the children's section) There are 4 floors in this store yet tills were open only on one with the queue so long the end of it was almost by the lifts at the front of the shop! I gave up before I wasted any more time.

A huge shop with a variety of clothes, accessories and home decor. The prices are amazingly cheap and the clothes are always so cute and fashionable, would absolutely recommend Primark for anyone wanting to shop for adorable clothes and items without emptying their purses/wallets.

It is a really big shop with three floors and it also has a small cafe. Abundance of temporary clothes, lots of sizes. Long queues to pay but it went quick. The changing rooms were also busy but I didn't need to wait long. Good attendance.

  • 3/5 Olga R. 1 year ago on Google
No problems with the products, but the fitting room on the last floor with lingerie is closed! It’s weird, you should go down to try it on, and if you want to change something you should go up again, this section must have the fitting room always! The second point is the till. Half of them are closed and always a big line!

Brilliant, store on three floors. We'll set out, great selection of fashions for all. Great shoe section and lingerie at great prices. Clean and bright and not cluttered. Nicely set out and great displays. Excellent choices at great prices

A lot of nice clothes. Though i do miss them selling "Rock Music and alternative" style for woman. Bought some really nice things recently, though their sizing is never the same, so i advise to try on. Staff always friendly and helpful. Store kept clean and tidy. The home wear section is beautiful.

Just been to primark with my niece to exchange a christmas present, bit because she hasn't got a gift receipt they won't exchange for a bigger size even though all labels still on. So we now have a pair of jeans no good to her and she's had to buy a bigger pair. If that's not a money making game I don't know what is. Absolute joke!!!!@

Primark Newcastle is mint. A great big super smart shop with Lovely staff. I've only ever been treated with dignity and respect. The staff have even kept something for me because they knew I would be in looking for that particular size. That's good quality personal service. The store On Northumberland St has its own free WiFi the Men's Department is huge. Right next to their fantastic Home department. The Demographic has changed in recent years. Nowadays their are young handsome men and beautiful young women in there picking up bargains. Usually in the more expensive side of the men's department. It's easy to see why. The range of good looking tops and bottoms, shorts, longleg, teeshirts or shirts jumpers. All of it at half the price & less than the other branded shops. The young have grown up quickly due to the state of the economy since 2008, & the global financial crash. Later came COVID, throughout this the numbers of younger people, male and female shopping at Primark has grown. So has the sense in the better off grandparents who've worked it out for themselves and taken the grandkids in for gifted clothes, insisting on Primark. Saying labels mean nothing. They're still in with their grandchildren regularly. Grandad's are in too, some of them amazed at the jeans for a tenner or £12. The last ten yrs have been tough, let's all be honest about it, we are back in straightened times. As it has been since 2008. Look at your electric bill, some are paying a week what it cost them a month. How do we maintain this? The workers and the unions are now fighting back. Here in the North East the *Label* has lost a lot of its power. One couldn't drag your kids in to Primark only a few years ago. Now they choose to shop here. Have a look at the pictures I've shoved in. This is, I'm assuming, the Autumn range and colours. I like that terracotta coloured fleece. £27 I'll have to wait a while. Like most do.

Great range of clothes so much for all ages and sizes. Staff were lovely, polite friendly and helpful. No long wait at the till.

I felt very safe in store. There's more space between shelving so you can be distanced from others. Vast choice of clothes and accessories at very reasonable prices. Noted that there were many items which were made from recycled materials and others sourced from environmentally friendly materials. Staff very friendly.

I buy most of my nighties and jackets from Primark and I never get dissapointed plus you can always go back to exchange or get a refund. I do love to buy a lot of stuff from here including my undies and onesie. So I will recommend you visit Primark store close to you and get yourself some affordable pair of jeans or joggers or generally whatever you fancy.

I really hope this review gets back to the amazing member of staff who went above and beyond for me today (21/12/23) in your Newcastle store. Unfortunately I forgot to take her name, she was working on the 2nd floor.. basically I was in with my two daughters, one of them who is autistic and has adhd. My daughter was having a major meltdown at the tills and to add to the stress a lot of customers were watching (as always). When I came out of the tills this lady came over and was so nice to my daughter trying to calm her down as she was screaming for toys, I was explaining about my daughter and she reassured me not to worry about people looking and to in future use the disabled till. She then went out of her way to another floor to bring down some small poppet toys and bubbles to help calm her down. Once my girls picked a toy she kindly took us over to the disabled till and put my purchase through. She was amazing with my kids, and she probably doesn’t realise how much she made me feel better! I work in customer service myself and in general a lot of staff just do their job, but this lady was so genuinely helpful and caring. You are very lucky to have her as an employee Primark and I think she deserves a lovely Christmas bonus!
