Primark
Newcastle
is
mint.
A
great
big
super
smart
shop
with
Lovely
staff.
I've
only
ever
been
treated
with
dignity
and
respect.
The
staff
have
even
kept
something
for
me
because
they
knew
I
would
be
in
looking
for
that
particular
size.
That's
good
quality
personal
service.
The
store
On
Northumberland
St
has
its
own
free
WiFi
the
Men's
Department
is
huge.
Right
next
to
their
fantastic
Home
department.
The
Demographic
has
changed
in
recent
years.
Nowadays
their
are
young
handsome
men
and
beautiful
young
women
in
there
picking
up
bargains.
Usually
in
the
more
expensive
side
of
the
men's
department.
It's
easy
to
see
why.
The
range
of
good
looking
tops
and
bottoms,
shorts,
longleg,
teeshirts
or
shirts
jumpers.
All
of
it
at
half
the
price
&
less
than
the
other
branded
shops.
The
young
have
grown
up
quickly
due
to
the
state
of
the
economy
since
2008,
&
the
global
financial
crash.
Later
came
COVID,
throughout
this
the
numbers
of
younger
people,
male
and
female
shopping
at
Primark
has
grown.
So
has
the
sense
in
the
better
off
grandparents
who've
worked
it
out
for
themselves
and
taken
the
grandkids
in
for
gifted
clothes,
insisting
on
Primark.
Saying
labels
mean
nothing.
They're
still
in
with
their
grandchildren
regularly.
Grandad's
are
in
too,
some
of
them
amazed
at
the
jeans
for
a
tenner
or
£12.
The
last
ten
yrs
have
been
tough,
let's
all
be
honest
about
it,
we
are
back
in
straightened
times.
As
it
has
been
since
2008.
Look
at
your
electric
bill,
some
are
paying
a
week
what
it
cost
them
a
month.
How
do
we
maintain
this?
The
workers
and
the
unions
are
now
fighting
back.
Here
in
the
North
East
the
*Label*
has
lost
a
lot
of
its
power.
One
couldn't
drag
your
kids
in
to
Primark
only
a
few
years
ago.
Now
they
choose
to
shop
here.
Have
a
look
at
the
pictures
I've
shoved
in.
This
is,
I'm
assuming,
the
Autumn
range
and
colours.
I
like
that
terracotta
coloured
fleece.
£27
I'll
have
to
wait
a
while.
Like
most
do.
