Busy place, fish and chips were good.

We had a burger and chips for lunch and it was very very good. The chips were divine, the meat patty was really tasty and it was served with Beetroot as part of the salad. Very happy with the service from the 2 lovely ladies. I would have given it 5 stars if the bun was sourdough or Turkish bread but that's a minor detail. The best takeaway we've had since leaving WA at the beginning of July.

Best fish and chips in Lake Macquarie

The potato scallops and cocktail fish that we ordered were delicious 😋 The shop is always busy with customers, which says a lot!! It's definitely a rustic dining experience with plastic tables, so takeaway for us (home or 10 minutes down to the beach being the way to go!) The staff are friendly and happy. The shop is very clean. Only negative, it's rather expensive compared to other Fish and Chip shops ($2 a scallop and not that large) But our meal was delicious and we will be back!!!

Food was good. Not over or under cooked. Cooked just right. I had fish and chips. Yummy

Always fantastic, crispy battered fish, loads of chips and perfect for a swim and a feast on the sand.

I will give 1 star for effort and promptness but I’m guessing the fish cocktails were cooked two days ago as the batter was over cooked and the fish was like elastic that had been in the sun all summer 🤮 Not the first time I have had take away from there, thought I would try again to give them a chance for redemption but hand on heart (because of heartburn) I will never return and I will ensure anybody who asks me about this place will be told exactly my experience I’ve had, more than once. Very disappointed and very sick 🤢 no words 😶 bleggghhhh! Nasty nasty

Preordered dinner. usually the best fish and chips in Lake Macquarie. However tonight over/over cooked. Batter on fish pieces inedible, had to sort through chips to find some not over cooked. Disappointed as expecting the best.

Chips and Scallops werent cooked properly and were very soggy, Had to re cook at home in the airfryer before eating them.

Tiny bit of fish, no lemon, gross chips and a drink for $17, this is why I don't try new places
