Best sausage roll ive ever had frandly farst little Shop

I got a spinach and cheese pastie, tasted terrible, didn’t have that nice crunchy outside either. My friend got some meat, cheese and bacon pie, literally fell apart in her hands, she thought it tasted pre good tho…. However it did give her food poisoning

The pie tasted nice, but it's kept at too high heat. The pie fell apart, there was no form to it. After sitting for 10 minutes the inside was still too hot to eat.

Not a great experience unfortunately, the pie had a generous serving of steak which was good, but the gravy was somehow flavourless and over salted at the same time and the pastry didn't hold the structure at all after the first bite. Unfortunate to give a small business a low rating, but the quality of their pies really needs to be improved.

Very glad I stopped here a few weeks back. Food and service was terrific.

Unfortunately the pies are no where near as good as when Evelighs owned the place very hard to find a good pie maker now days. Pastry was good but pie sadly lacked flavour inclusive of pepper and salt some Worcester sauce would definitely help in the preparation.

Had a Pepper meat pie, the pie was a good size, with alot of soft quality meat pieces , great pepper flavour! I would have to say one of the best pies i have eaten in a while! Cant wait to try again!
