Its okay. Did the job. Location was excellent with Mcdonalds and Woolworths and essentials extremely close along with some bars on the same block. Parking is terrible in peak so best to pay for parking otherwise you will need to circle around. Rooms are good and bedrooms clean. The bathrooms are tiring massively but the rest was ok. Balcony is just a smoking area. Perfect for a 1 night quick stay. Staff were great.

the establishment was clean and safe with key card access to lifts and room. The staff were very helpful with locating venues. secure car parking was also available. The self contained unit had all the amenities of home.

My bicycle was stolen from the locked rooftop bike carrier inside what was supposed to be a secure carpark. The staff were courteous and cooperated with police, but apparently Quest's insurance policy doesn't cover guests' belongings.

Stayed for a work function and was really impressed that it was so close to the venue with parking. Service was fantastic from the staff at checkin and checkout. Rooms were immaculately clean and roomy. Although I didn't use the kitchen area it was nice that it was there if needed. The bathroom was huge which is usually an oversite but not at Quest. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

Convenient spot to stay. Apartments are comfortable, clean and spacious. Staff are friendly and helpful. Pool is fun and well maintained. Tram stop over the road will take you to the beach, restaurants and station. Shopping centre a short walk around the corner.

Accessible friendly premium accomodation in Newcastle. I like the wombat restaurant. They have an inclusive diverse work force. The main manager is very friendly and if he has time he will chat with you. He seems to like travelling but he is also full of good ideas and recommendations.

The good: The staff were friendly and accommodating Location is awesome Dishwasher is new We were allowed to checkin early and checkin late We received a message once the unit was available for checkin We requested for a quiet room with a bath and we got it The bad: The unit felt dated and not well maintained for its pricepoint. Room service is not done everyday, but it's a 'serviced' apartment. Rowdy guests dominating the pool every single night and no one seems to be calling them out for it (they were shouting a lot and it's impossible to join them on the pool as they are playing a game instead of quietly enjoying the amenities. Parking is not included in the price ($25++ per night). No aircon in the bedroom (but there's a fan). We chose this over Newcastle West (newer property) primarily because it has a pool even if it was more expensive but we regret this decision.

Great little apartment hotel. Clean rooms. Plenty of parking out back. Nice little cafe bar downstairs.

Did the trick, but common areas such as elevators, corridors, and exercise facilities were extremely dirty. Wifi would not work, and rooms were well in need of a re-paint. A very well-located hotel however!

Great location right in town. Nice modern apartment, freshly decorated, lovely furniture, comfy bed, aircon, good kitchen with dishwasher and with tea/coffee basics. Black out blinds and curtains throughout unit. Very spacious bathroom with shampoo, shower cap etc. A larger vanity would be better than the tiny basin, but we survived. Bathroom equipped with washer and dryer with complimentary laundry soap. It was a pleasant surprise to have fresh towels, bed made up and kitchen tidied on a 2 day of stay. Apartment not far from restaurants and waterfront. Shopping centre within walking distance. Secure parking available for $30 a day. Perfect for a long or short stay and a great restaurant next door - really handy. Only negatives - quite noisy outside (not in the building) at times during the night. But that could be due to schoolies. Also, wasn't expecting to pay for parking.

Awesome location to night-life. Rooms were tidy and looked after. Could do with double glazed glass because weekend road noise is a bit how ya goin but otherwise it was a great place to stay for a weekend away.

Overall happy with our stay. Fairly clean rooms some minor upgrades needed though such as shower heads pretty dirty. Small dog friendly which was great 👍

Public transport is very close as the Honeysuckle light rail station is just a couple of steps outside, the pool and spa are very nice, one thing In would like is the gym to be bigger and have it's own area as the gym is a part of the pool area, other than that it was a very nice and relaxing stay. I will be coming back! :)

Our apartment was spacious and functional - large living space, kitchen, bathroom, balcony. On Hunter Road just 1 stop on the light rail from Newcastle Interchange and 4 stops to Newcastle Beach. Overcharged on checking in but soon corrected when I showed my booking confirmation, safe needed a new battery and clothes dryer soon found. The washing machine and tumble dryer were useful. Balcony on the main road was a little noisy. WiFi worked well. Shower was powerful, bath was a bonus.

Right in the heart of town, the rooms are clean and the kitchen in them is almost full size which is a nice surprise. 👌 We have a 3 room suite with a nice lounge area and balcony. For location in Newcastle it doesn't get any better, just walk out the door and walk to beach or walk to shops or the rail. Everything is close by.

Spacious 2 bedroom self contained apartment (master bedroom with ensuite) and a sizeable balcony - so nice for the morning cuppa or afternoon drinks. Has great storage and a full laundry. Property is wheelchair accessible. Enjoyed the pool and spa. Outdoor gated onsite parking. Staff courteous and helpful - welcomed you back after you went out. Walking distance to where we needed to be. Directly opposite the Honeysuckle light rail stop - which uses Opal cards (a short ride to Nobbys beach or Newcastle interchange). Walking distance to Civic Centre, Newcastle University, Conservatorium, Marketown shopping Centre, etc.

Stayed here for 3 days, 2 nights. I definitely prefer this Quest over the Quest West on the same street as the location is more central. Can easily walk to the eateries nearby. If you’re after space, the Quest West is more spacious. I didn’t have any issues with space here though. Grocery shops are also walking distance if you prefer to eat in. Nice and clean amenities, with nothing too fancy. Would be good for a business stay.

The best in town for those on a tight budget You're not going to find a place right in the city with these amenities for the price. For less than $90 a night you get a one room apartment with all the trimmings * kitchen including full size fridge/freezer plus all the pots/pans and utensils you need to cook anything from a stir fry to a Sunday roast *really generous size shower with amazingly smelling toiletries. There's even a combination washing machine/dryer - with laundry powder for a few loads * tv plus sofa and a dining room table * bedroom is separate with a king bed a ridiculous amount of storage found in the unobstructed built in wardrobes The only reason it only got 4 stars from me is that there's no air con in the bedroom (only in the open planned area) and no t.v. in the bedroom

The 2 bedroom suite I had was fantastic, extremely clean and well maintained with some nice mod-cons. Right in the centre of town so close to the harbour and everything else.

Aircon didn’t work and we were so uncomfortable for several days. Staff couldn’t fix it though they did try and were genuinely friendly and lovely. Other then that everything was great. But because I was so uncomfortable being over heated it just ruined our stay. We wouldn’t recommend staying here. Unless it’s in winter 😊

Nice big rooms in the apartment, brought our bikes for the holiday to get around town and there was heaps of space in the apartment to store them and still have room. The shower/bathtub was a bit squishy as the bathtub was raised. The apartment is also located right at a light rail station so its easy to get around the town that way as well. Our apartment faced south so at sunset there was a nice view on the balcony, although it had a pretty low quality set of seats and table on it (good to hang wet swimmers on at least). The receptionists and cleaners were all really nice and accomodating.

Classic quest apartments. Clean and tidy, my only frustration is that (like every hotel) they don’t adhere to their own guidelines with swapping out towels. I hang my towel up, they swap it out… why?? Anyway, it’s a dumb thing to get hung up about. Lovely staff, great location.
