Food came with ingredients missing, salads missing multiple items, and nachos missing avocado. Roof leaked onto the table. Food came out at different times over the space of 20 minutes for a table of six. Server was understanding and stated a manager would be over to speak to us. We waited for 40 minutes in an empty restaurant and was offered 10% off of our bill by the server, had already paid by this point. The manager didn't bother speaking to us so we left. Won't be returning and would suggest you visit Capello, Sando, or Wetherspoons instead for better service and food.

I visited first time in this restaurant and ordered a cocktail (Forgot the name). All i want to say that It is perfect for chill when you are waiting for bus. It has two entrances one for bus station and one for town centre.

Pub located in centre of Newcastle. Parking available in multi storey near by. Very quiet during a midweek visit. Food was good, and staff were very helpful and responsive to our requests. Nice decoration and look to the place, clearly a lot of thought gone into the design. Recommended.

Main gripe for me was the food. Menu said one thing, yet during transit from kitchen to table, one egg had vanished; same had happened to my partner's dish. Dish consisted of a sweet(!!) Waffle with a bit of sauce and some of last week's greenery! The name had an exotic ring to it, though the price was sky high! Then, there were plenty of lager taps present at the bar... unfortunately they had run out of gas, (their words). That hints to me of mismanagement, or simply incompetence!? Service was adequate while someone actually was present. Slug & lettuce is NOT for me, I leave that venue to the Slugs.

The waiters have great energy, check up on our table and make sure everything is going alright. The decorations are really nice and add to the lovely atmosphere. Matty and Will were so nice!

Our server Elijah was excellent and never left us waiting at all. Myself and my partner had a bottomless brunch and everything was amazing. They helped make our first bottomless brunch a very pleasant experience and we'll definitely be coming back again.

Had a 50% food voucher so decided to visit on Wednesday evening. Was very underwhelmed by the experience. Booked a table in advance but there wasn’t anyone by the door to greet us and show us to our table. The floor was sticky, the menus were sticky and the cutlery didn’t look particularly clean. The food was pretty average, I’m glad I didn’t pay full price. And the loud dance music made it quite hard to hear what my partner was saying. The decor was pretty, the cocktails were nice and well priced, especially with being 2-4-1, and the staff were friendly and helpful. But I most likely won’t visit again.

During our visit, there we're two staff members cocktail training (Ruby & Harry). Did an excellent job and they were delicious. Good Job!!!

Maybe it was just me or it was rather quiet for a lunch time may i say before i begin the Service was Excellent and its a Lovely Place .. thinks I maybe a gastro foodie snob but seriously a McDonald's would of looked better served .. food looked/tasted blah fries overcooked chicken overcooked and yes when someone asks if all is OK I bit my tongue as was rather hungry. When food was delivered it all looked too nude and unappealing on a nude plate but I guess you only get what you pay for. Wish I had of taken a photo of the gastronomic deliverance.

Had a lovely experience today, enjoyed our food and cocktails have hit the spot. Really good service from Zara and been treated really well and welcoming. Definitely coke back again.

We visited today for bottomless brunch and we had a lovely time. Gina, faith and Gabs were great, nothing was too much trouble and the food was amazing. Definitely recommend a visit ☺️

Love the new look of the place since it has changed to a slug and lettuce. We had service from a lovely lady called Deanna who was really lovely and attentive. She went the extra mile to make sure we were settled into a comfortable spot after turning up late. It is rare to find staff with customer service like that anymore and the place is very lucky to have someone like her. Will definitely be back again with service like that!!!

It's all about the decor The server wasn't very attentive. I wasn't told which bar to order at, so I was standing at the wrong bar and I had to catch the eye of someone to ask. No one came over to check the food was OK, it wasn't great. Burnt garlic bread which we would have asked to be replaced. 3 of us had chicken which you could tell was pre cooked. We won't be rushing back.

We didn’t book, so we were worried we wouldn’t get a table as it seemed really busy. However, we were greeted by Gina who found us a table and made us feel so welcome (thank you Gina). We only had cocktails, which were really nice and we hope to try the food in the future. Thank you ☺️
