Both myself and my wife been with this company for many years, regularly having check ups following their recommended time periods. In March 23 we were due our check ups and were told these were now cancelled until further notice due to availability problems with NHS dentists. Called Milehouse Dental Practice (Roddericks) today with a tooth repair problem. Was told because I wasn't in pain, had no swelling or bleeding I would have to pay private paying £99 check up fee prior to paying private costs for the actual treatment. In effect THIS DENTISTS IS NOW PRIVATE AS IT NO LONGER DOES CHECK UPS OR GENERAL TREATMENT FOR ANYONE OVER 18 UNLESS YOUR IN SEVERE PAIN, BLEEDING OR SWOLLEN. We were also told if we were to receive emergency treatment we would have to travel to Burton, Nantwich, Coventry or Birmingham to a sister practice from Newcastle under Lyme! So if your not having regular check ups your teeth could be gradually deteriorating. So where is the DUTY OF CARE BY RODDERICKS for your clients. You appear to have dropped us like a hot potato, but MIRACULOUSLY can find a dentist if I pay you at private rates. With that attitude I think if I'm going to pay private I will pay privately to a company what does put loyalty to clients before company profits.

I was told on booking that any extra charges would be discussed beforehand. This was not the case and I was charged double what I was quoted on booking. When I questioned why this was, I was told this was due to me saying I had a sore tooth, when I advised this was why I had booked the appointment. I was told it was classed as an emergency appointment and the charge was different.i think all prices should be up front and clear on booking as 98 pounds is alot of money that not everyone has and I feel they should be more transparent about this.

My current Dentist is awesome. I recently had a filling with the dreaded injection in the gums. It was so painless I was so impressed. The rest became a breeze. I’m thrilled with the high level of empathy my dentist feels for her clients. 100 per cen recommended

I have been with this dentist practise for many years and the treatment has been second to none, everyone from dentists to receptionists were excellent. But am very disappointed that they are no longer doing NHS work.

I'm gutted my dentist may be leaving; he's been brilliant and has quite literally saved my teeth. He's also very friendly and approachable. I do hope he will stay on; he'll be hard to replace

Really rude staff not very understanding or sympathetic have unregistered me and my children even though they have cancelled several appointments on me and my children with no explanation even though I had to book time off work to be able to go and let me down at the last minute and because I have not rebooked we are now without a dentist for an emergency appointment. Would not recommend to anyone.

I am an extremely nervous patient , I was instantly put at ease by Reem ( the first time I have met her) She explained everthing step by step I now feel brave enough to go on my own Thankyou

Evri is brilliant and it's sad to see him go, since being at this dentist I've had 5 different dentists and only 1 was arrogant, Ameer didn't last long. I've a big fear of dentists I hope who ever is found next is as kind, patient and professional as Evri has been. Good luck Evri 🙂
