Lovely Burger with fries and onion rings! Best Long Island Iced Tea Cocktail I've had in a long time, made the proper way! Great service too.

Absolutely fantastic visit for Sunday dinner. Great and a warm welcome. Table service was not a problem. Staff went out of their way to make your visit special. Drinks were great, the dinner itself was so tasty, I wanted more, but couldn’t, lol, as it was magical. The place was very clean and it was certainly a good atmosphere. Would recommend to one and to all.

A bit busy as it was a Saturday afternoon so we had a bit of a wait for the food. Staff were pleasant and friendly so it was a nice experience

Staff were nice, food was ok. I needed the non gluten menu, which for some reason wasn't at the table. As a disabled person this was somewhat inconvenient. When I got the menu I was very disappointed to see that there were no prices on it. Am I not allowed to know what my meal would cost before ordering it? When the meal arrived I was rather disappointed at the size of the chicken. It looked like a childs portion, which the kitchen forgot to put enough BBQ sauce on. Thankfully the chips were nice

A little wait at entrance to be seated. Easy to order with QR app. Clean, tidy and a good room temperature on a cold day. Had to return a pint of Pedigree which was quickly sorted with little fuss (barman thought could be first out of the pipes) Food was tasty and what I expected for the price. Would return.

We were tempted back after a couple of years with a 30% off mains voucher. Sadly the food was just plain average. I had the burger and fries (£9.30). The two burger patties tasted like they'd come out of the freezer from Farmfoods supermarket as they tasted cheap and bog standard. The lettuce and tomato in the burger bun were a tiny portion and stingy. However the thin fries were really good. My partner had a Veggie Delight pizza. She said the pizza base was not good and poorly seasoned and flavourless. Overall, the pizza was bland and you can get better at your local Co-op. We ate our food because we were hungry and did not want to waste it after all the expense. Service was good, it's just the kitchen which was a let down. We will not be going back for a LONG time as disappointed returning customers.

Lovely food 😋 perhaps more cheese and bacon on the dirty fries. Good value, nice looking pub with t.v screens so we could see the women's football final and we got a free drink from management for the England win! Very nice family atmosphere, it was my first visit but I will be back with my daughter. I saw on a poster you also do a pub quiz which I would like to try.

Food nice bit on the pricey side to what I'm used to but its worth it cocktails are a miss just tasted like cordial

Service was really good, our waiter remembered the 5 people order, 1 gluten free option without writing it down, which is good. Didn't get a food quality check until we had nearly finished, the food wasn't piping hot, I was really disappointed by the puddings, the cheesecake sounded amazing, nowhere in the description did it say contains chocolate, as I am allergic I always ask, as you never know.. and yep.. white chocolate swirls, thus should be on the menu, so, out of 9 deserts, there were 5 containing chocolate :( that was disappointing (for me anyway). But overall was good enough food... ooh and the pudding I did have, apple crumble, if I could have got someone's attention I would have asked them to actually warm it up as it was cold, didn't want to make a scene as was out with family, was a treat as going through a bad time.

Visiting the area on business and called in on a Monday, mid afternoon. Although no reservation we were found a table quite quickly. A good range of drinks, and tasty food cooked satisfactory. A mention for cheerful staff member, 'Elizabeth ' who was helpful in answering any questions we had whilst also tending to other tables/wiping down etc etc. Would go back if in area again.

The food was absolutely delicious, the best tomato soup I've ever tasted. Excellent service from Jamie and Angel. Will definitely come back for our Xmas meal next year. All 6 of us really enjoyed our evening. Thank you, keep up the good work. Lynn.

Our table was well prepared, the meals were exactly as ordered and of a very high standard. Service was excellent and very courteous. We stayed longer than our allocated slot due to there not being a high demand for the table

It's easy walking distance for me. My self and partner ordered steak .lm allergic to mushrooms so obviously didn't order any stating NO mushrooms but low and behold both plates had guess what YEEES loads of mushrooms. A part from that the meal was fine, had some extra chips and peppercorn sauce and with a pint each spent about 50 quid. All in all not bad, fairly priced and would go again

Food was absolutely gorgeous outstanding service and outstanding customer service was made feel really welcome staff was really friendly and really helpful the cotton mill was absolutely spotless not one thing out of place met my needs and adhered to my requests cant wait return thank you to all the amazing friendly staff for making me and my family feel so welcome keep up the good work and excellent service provided

Adequate car parking available, overall the restaurant is clean, tidy and well presented. Easy to find a table and order at the bar. Great selection of drinks, while bar staff are friendly and welcoming. Very wide choice of menu across a wide range of meals. I had the mixed grill which was excellent. It had good sized meat portions, all cooked as requested, good quality and very tasty. My Wife had Hunters chicken, she was equally as pleased with her choice. We shall certainly visit again before too long.

We had an amazing experience here. The staff were amazing. We have 2 autistic children and due to there challenges we do not get out often. The staff were amazing, going above and beyond to accommodate us. Will definitely be returning. Thank you for the positive experience.

The Staff were friendly and welcoming. The food arrived promptly and was well presented and tasty. We did not feel rushed and there was a good family atmosphere. It was nice there was a small play area and good seating outside too.

We were a party of five attending for the quiz night. It was very busy but that in no way impacted on our evening. The atmosphere was good, as was the service and the food. The staff were attentive, polite and efficient considering the number of people in that night. All in all we had a very enjoyable evening .

Service was brilliant, we did have a problem with one of meals but was rectified straight away with no issues. Overall an absolutely excellent celebration for my birthday. Thank you very much for your hospitality

We were a party of 8 people and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their visit. The food was excellent and we were served by Jack who was very efficient and friendly. Well worth the visit and will be going back

We always visit the cottinmill at least once a month so we decided to have our Christmas get together here. We won't visit again for Christmas hardly any staff. Nobody came to our table we waited 1 hour and 20mins before we got our starters after numerous times of trying to find staff to serve us. Then we waited another hour before we got our mains. Then the food was only average sprouts hard. Stuffing hard. Pigs in blankets over cooked. Pudding was okay but not much to it. Really disappointed with service and meal. Staff didn't seem bothered.

This pub is OK for a quick stop off for convenience. However, I wouldn't use this pub regularly. Two things mainly are the price of food and drink and the quality of the beer. I had San Miguel, which is something I drink mostly, so I can tell if it doesn't taste right and it doesn't taste right here. Maybe their lines need cleaning more often. However, all this being said, I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful and the facilities are clean and tidy. Parking is good. However, the disabled parking bays, in my opinion, are in the wrong place. In summary, I'd rate this place 3 out of 5 stars. It's good with the potential to be great.

Despite being busy as it approaches Christmas, the staff were friendly, helpful and offered superb service. The food was cooked perfectly, was absolutely delicious and was decently priced on top. The standard is consistently high and I'd definitely return. Additionally, the facilities were kept clean and the small play area offered ideal entertainment for young children.

I made a reservation a week ago for last night to treat my mum to a birthday meal. The staff were very welcoming, polite and well mannered. The food was hot and tasted lovely. I definitely recommend going here. I will be coming here again.

First time visiting. Lovely place, staff super friendly, fantastic choice on their gluten free menu and the food was seriously beautiful. Had a special occasion as some family members came over to see us from Leeds. The staff were extremely friendly, helped in anyway they could, made sure our drinks were topped up, and the food wait was good for 7 of us! But to top it off they were amazing with our two young toddlers. Would highly recommend, left a tip at the end 😃

We had a lovely evening at the cotton mill we were well looked after from arriving to leaving, the service was excellent, when we first arrived there was somebody there straight away to greet us and show us our table, then we were asked about drinks. The food came to the table without a wait and everybody really enjoyed their meals. Plates cleaned away quickly. The Man that served us throughout the evening was very good had a chat with us.

Friendly staff and efficient service, extensive menu. Recommended to try Hunters Chicken, it was very good and filling. Very pleased withe meal and visit, everything was clean and tidy especially the toilet area. Tables cleared away when clients left always a good sign, in my view. Staff were smiling and friendly and clearly knew the menu and what was available. I will be back to enjoy the food and the atmosphere again. Thank You

Called in with the family after ten pin bowling. The service was friendly and helpful. The drink and food orders were taken soon after our arrival. The food was served reasonably quickly. The menu was ok and the meal was well cooked and presented. This venue is similar to a Wetherspoons and the food is similar in presentation and price. A great place for a quick meal but not a place I would use for a celebration meal.

Reason for my score is I asked for something very specific for my autistic son and this was ignored. He only eats plain burgers so I asked for sauce and everything else to be removed yet it still came with sauce. My food was ok but the gammon was pretty dry and tough to eat. Staff were friendly, environment was nice.

The review is based on the food. Ordered veggie pizza and looked awful when it came, but tasted better than it looked. Ordered 2 kids meals which I thought were shocking, dry brown carrots and a burger bun that was as hard as a rock, cold chips. Even my kids who eat anything turned it down. I know the meals are cheap for kids, but I would pay more if it meant improved quality. Staff all very friendly and helpful but said it was table service, and I had to keep getting up to chase them, but they were busy. Used to love the pizzas here but yesterday’s experience has really put me off

Service was outstanding! Our server was attentive and fast. Couldn't speak more highly of them! The food was mostly good, but the main course i couldn't even eat. I ordered a margharita pizza (should be mozarella and basil), but I got cheddar cheese with uncooked slices of tomato on top. It was horrible! The started was tasty... we had dough balls which were good. The dessert was lovely... we had a shared sundae which was good value for money and delicious. There wasn't a good selection of vegetarian dishes either which put me off as well.

Food was delicious and we didn't have to wait long for it to be brought to our table. All food and drink was reasonably priced. The staff were very friendly and helpful. You also have a lovely outdoor area. You also have an area for families with small children to dine. Thank you
