My biggest compliment to this shop is that I rarely don’t find what I need. There’s a few specialist food items which it lacks, but that’s understandable given its locale. The aisles aren’t as generous as some of the newer superstores but a recent refurb has really improved the refrigerated and freezer sections. Also, the new layout of the fruit and veg section is much nice and has that green grocer vibe.

Great place to shop and the benifit of an EV charging area

I've been coming to this tesco for years but this last year I've become disabled. But shopping wasn't a problem because my blue badge ment I could park closer to the store. They then had 3 mobility scooters inside with a basket on the front great for shopping every Sunday when I came shopping. But they started breaking down & were being repaired but now all 3 are broken & not being replaced or repaired I know it's not tescos priority to supply these but it was very helpful but to it seems there is no profit to be made from these scooters only very helpful to me & others like myself. Very disappointed that I can't shop here at the moment

Awful experience, at self service a member of staff was blatantly ingoring us and sorting everyone elses issues. After waiting 15 minutes, i went up to that staff member and she said rudely 'I can only assist 1 person at a time'. She then goes to serve 4 others before getting to us. I asked if there was a problem and she continues to ingore me and starts speaking to her supervisor. I will never return to a tesco again after this experiance

I've been to Tesco in bridgend with my grandmother, went into the cafe and ordered food and drinks. A few minutes later the food came from the kitchen and the woman who served us gave us the food, and walked away . My gran had scramble egg on toast and I had burger chips and salad. Her toast was not cooked properly and her egg wasn't either. My burger was grey and was half cooked my salad was soggy and my chips was cold and half cooked with all red little dits on top with mould . My gran called the waiter over and complained about it. Then the woman seen somebody from afar, she did not come back to us to say that she did not even speak to them! After a while my gran has called another waiter over, she had a refund and ber money back . We are not going there again after the bad experince we had and the rudness from the staff..

Awful shop. Used self service and one wasn't working, there were quite a few people waiting that had to get various items approved from a member of staff and I couldn't even see a member of staff in that area. Waiting ridiculously ages. They definitely need more self service checkouts like Asda do

Tesco has a nice cafeteria, they offer clean and quality service, they immediately helped me with the laptop and phone charging problem, although it is normally self-service, they even brought coffee to the table for my yoga on the computer so I did my own business in a very warm environment, I highly recommend this visit in May my.

My husband and I are disabled so placed an order with Tesco Bridgend to be delivered between 5 & 6pm on Saturday 21st Jan 2023. It didn't arrive. Phoned and they said they couldn't deliver due to road conditions and would deliver Sunday evening. They said they would text when they were due. Had no text and again no delivery. Phoned Monday evening and was told the van had broken down yesterday and they will deliver today between 1 and 5pm. I will believe it when I see it. Won't order again

Not a safe place to attend in the evening. Car Park is a playground for boy racers and thugs. Vehicles racing around regularly and almost hitting customers. Staff don't seem to care. No longer willing to shop there in the evening due to these issues

Rude woman assisting on self serve checkouts, first refused to remove tags from clothes items, then swiped the receipt from my hand, and checked through the whole thing to see if I’d nicked them!! Why would I ask for the tags to be removed if I was trying to steal them! Eventually she took the tags off (two items, totalling £11) and didnt return my receipt. I had to ask for it back. She wouldnt speak to me when I tried to talk to her, just muttered annd grunted, and if I hadnt already paid I’d have walked out and not bothered having said items. Someone’s not getting much job satisfaction! Considered speaking to someone in customer service but decided not to waste my time.

Terrible customer service from the male at the self service checkout he was so rude and disrespectful to myself and family member he should be ashamed of himself and not work in CUSTOMER SERVICE as he’s clearly not a people person!! We have put a complaint in regarding the way he treated and spoke to us. This is not the first time we have experienced bad customer service from this store.

Just been in Tesco Cowbridge Road this morning, 22 Sept and its manic, akin to Xmas Eve yet there were 10 tills closed, massive queues down the aisles as was the self serve checkout.i even went to one till, started to physically put items on the belt only then to be told till is closing!!.i suggested to staff member to get more staff, totally disorganised and she huffed and puffed and pulled a face at me.....what exemplary customer service there.....Not!! Frustrating, will not visit again.Asda is far more organised and with friendlier staff.terrible experience today!

Convenient and local. Has pretty much everything you need. Fresh bread and milk and self service. Usually quite busy though so parking isn't always great.

Went to Tesco Extra Bridgend today.. What a terrible experience. In every aisle staff stacking shelves.1-2 trolleys in each aisle, people queing up to see stock. This was at 11 am..busiest time of day. Finally came to veg section. I always try to buy unpacked fruit and veg. Was pleased to see loose mushrooms...but no paper bags to put them into. Asked aisle checker( yes another one), he said plastic bags over there 30 p. I thought stuff that so just grabbed a handful and put them into my trolley. Woman on checkout looked at me strangely as she tried to put them through but what a crazy idea. Back to Sainsbury's next week. 👍

Only went in for mens' pyjamas but bought books as well. There were pyjamas in my size, normally 2XL or 3XL. at good prices. Good choice of popular paperbacks.

This store and the Petrol station are always very busy through the ease of access from Cowbridge Road and A48 By-pass. • Staff always pleasant • Staff very helpful

Nice store, very big and has lots and lots of things that you need The car park is sometimes hard to get in and out of though

Covid on the rise in Bridgend When I visited this store at 9.30pm I was pleased to hear an announcement as I entered the store that masks were compulsory for customers and staff unless they were exempt. I was very disappointed to realise as I was shopping that very few of the staff or customers were wearing masks. I felt myself to be at risk and left as quickly as I could. What's the point of having a good rule and promoting it if you don't enforce it among your staff, which would likely encourage your customers to comply.

Lots of choices plenty of room to shop around shelves being topped up as you shop great range of salids take away meal deals with great choices

Very good place to shop and very popular sometimes a hard to get a parking space clean toilets and a cafe for a bite to eat
