Do not waste your time with this clinic. It takes 3 months to get an appointment, then when you finally get a chance to talk with Dr. Susan Abdel Salam, she will not listen to any of your actual concerns, rather prescribe like a typical robot doctor. She can’t wait to get you in & out so she can move on to the next patient. Hold times to talk to a person on the phone are 20 minutes+ every time. I highly recommend a functional medicine or naturopath doctor who will look at your concerns comprehensively & as a whole body system.

One of the worst clinics I've been to. Took me over 6 months to get an appointment with them. Dr. Salam does not listen to anything you tell them. I told her that I was having low blood glucose levels in the morning and during the night. She told me that she does not believe me and changed my insulin dose to higher, and now I have even more low glucose events. The team constantly forgets to email me my documents for blood work. If I ask them to sign a paper for my health benefits, they either do not respond to my emails or forget to send me the signed paper. They constantly forget to tell me when my next appointment is. I can go on for hours about the horrible experiences I have had with this clinic...

Dr. Alasaad is Ignorant!! My wife came home very upset about how she was treated. Dr.'s have a position of power and should not belittle patients. This was our second dealing with him and he was the exact same both times. Don't go to him unless you have no choice.

Not very impressed as I try to call there and I cannot get a live person, my pharmacy has sent a request for a refill one month ago with no response. I'm on this medication for the rest of my life and yet I always need to renew my prescription and last time pharmacy gave me a month and now again no response. So why have a phone number if no one can talk in real time.

I have been in Dr. Alasaad's care for over 3 years. He is a very knowledgeable and carrying doctor. Since I moved from an other city I was bouncing from a doctor to an other. Dr. Alasaad wasn't there only as a diabetic doctor but he took care of other concerns and today I got a very good bill of health. Thanks to this great doctor and his staff.

From My first visit and meeting Dr Yu, i was impressed by her remarkable grasp of most recent research and knowledge. She is sympathetic to her patients and communicates in a very clear and respectful manner. the clinic is a fantastic concept as a team of medical professionals work together for the same goal. with Dr Yu and the Pharmacist on staff, i was able to achieve results that had eluded me for a very long time.

LMC Optometry and Eyecare is amazing! Dr. Gallowitz is very lively, helpful, always answers questions, and their selection of frames is excellent. I got new glasses for my computer work and they are tremendous! Thank you Dr. Gallowitz and the staff at LMC, Great work! Highly recommended.

I am a newer patient, with having only been there about 5 or so times now, but every time has been a pleasant experience! Every staff member from reception, to assistants, to doctors at LMC are always so friendly and make you feel welcomed! I honestly look forward to my appointments because of the warm feeling, the awesome care they show, and the professional visits! I mainly see the dietician Laura, and she is AMAZING! I've never felt such respect, care, and understanding from ANY health care professional the way I have from her! Also, Amanda (I believe she is an assistant) is always very energetic and happy with an "I love my job" personality! LMC honestly hires the best! For those who have or will complain about having to wait a bit longer than your scheduled appointment, be thankful these professionals do not rush you out and take the time to provide you with whatever you need!

I’ve had four 3 month check-ups here so far and have found Dr. Salam and her assistants to be very professional. Have never had to wait longer than five minutes for my appointments to start. The free diabetic clinics they hold are informative.

I have had excellent care from Dr. Hani Alasaad, endocrinologist, for years now. He has helped me to bring my cholesterol under control and has been kind and helpful in answering all of my questions. I am grateful.

I absolutely have no unkind words for my endocrinologist. The operations and management of this location is HORRIBLE. Took me multiple emails without response to book an appointment which was mistakenly booked for in person and supposed to be over the phone. When you call you cannot speak to someone over the phone, so be prepared to email ONLY with little to no response. I have within the first year of being a patient 6+ different Diabetic Educators. Be prepared to be tossed around and have to retell your health goals and struggles. I am very upset to be looking to transfer as Dr. Alasaad has been wonderful. My only excuse for front end negligence and lack of employee retention is they took on too many patients. Unsure what is going on but if you are transferring I would consider options, as I wish I was able to transfer back to my North York Endo and willing to travel verses the headache of actually booking an appointment with a stable diabetic care team who knows my health history.
