Brittany helped me find the info about distanced of the walking trails in the Temple Avenue/Asa Powell Park. Just so you know, the oval around the football field is 1/4 mile. The trail that winds through the park is 1.03 miles.

Park is well maintained. It has a new disc golf course Unfortunately the locals that go there are pigs and leave their trash everywhere. Perhaps more trash cans?

All I did was drive around the fields area as I have business there and wanted to get the feel of the place. Did not interact with anyone. Fields appear to be in good shape. Restroom was clean. No public activities taking place at the time of my visit.

My grandson just got in football 🏈 and he loves it !!

Facility is very clean and nicely laid out. Lots of options for baseball and nice outdoor tennis and pickleball courts.

Very hot in gym during volleyball for youth girls. No room for an audience.

No facilities or programs anywhere except hunter complex off poplar road and hospital road. In perspective, they have facilities near only two of the three high schools. All others must travel across the busiest streets in the county.

Well I went one time to play basketball and usually the close at 8 on Friday but I got there and he said that they were closing early which made sense because they had no signs saying they were closing early.

We just had lunch with some friends out there. Place was actually nice but there were way too many flies.
