👍 4.5 stars. Cool lil spot in cdm. Had some time to kill before a rehearsal at 5 crowns. I got the house coffee and blueberry muffin. Both were excellent and employees were top notch. Friendly and knowledgeable. Would def come back again. They have a restroom behind the building. Great vibe. Thx Groun... People often mention coffee, latte,

Stopped by Grounded Coffee for a mid-trip delight; pictured is an iced Mocha latte that’s light on the flavoring, intentionally, and a confection of Cookies! My wife got the no-sugar Paleo along with two normal OG chocolate chips! I went for the peppermint hot cocoa cookie to compliment my beverage and they paired well together. The staff here are super friendly and made the experience well worth it; easily earned a return visit for that alone!

Came here on a weekend morning and ordered a latte, the breakfast burrito, and some cinnamon roll pastry. Everything was pretty disappointing. Latte was incredibly mediocre. Burrito was honestly pretty bad and definitely not freshly made (over-baked tortilla, filled with primarily tater tots and one overcooked egg; also it was super small). The pastry (which the cashier recommended) was whatever. At least the service was friendly and the outdoor seating is nice, but the stuff is way too expensive here to not taste better.

I stopped by Grounded Coffee House on the way to the beach. I was happy to see they had plenty of parking outback; a great coup in this area. The service was fine if a bit inattentive and the large latte was a decent value but not very tasty. The inside was pleasant and I wouldn’t mind spending time there.

Pretty good coffee (me: drop + oatmilk) Great chocolate chip chunky cookie Would be great place to hang out (great tables) and do some work but this place has the slowest Internet ever (1.63m dl, 0.26 ul, 60ms ping). I'd just use my cell hotspot but deadzoenish for my carrier. Essentially it's just really unusable. They'd probably get more business if they upgraded this

Great coffee shop, I'm not a coffee drinker and I still didn't feel too out of place. Tons of great pastries and breakfast options.

I'm glad I found a local, delectable shop. I thoroughly enjoyed my oat milk latte with an extra shot the last couple days. The espresso has such a crisp, bold and potent flavor and the creamy Oatly oat milk pairs so well with it. Normally I have to add 2 shots to my latte to get the flavor I want, but here only 1 is needed. I'm excited I found an awesome coffee place next to my new job that isn't Starbucks, as I worked there 9 years and I'm trying to move on. Thanks for making it too easy! Love the decor and adorable seating as well. The leather sofa is bomb. Looking forward to coming in all, if not most of my workweek. The name is really dope too.😊

Amazing service and coffee. You have to try the cookies. Their Chai is the best in town. Apparently it's owned by a young lady which is really cool too.

We had ice latte, monthly special brown sugar cinnamon with cold brew. Both were nice. Good vibe, owner seems very professional. Saw people keep coming in while I was there.

Excellent coffee house! We 'discovered' this place spontaneously when the family was returning from a trip to Laguna Beach and I needed to re-fuel on the way back. If you are on the PCH, circa Newport or Laguna Beach and are in search for an excellent cup of coffee and a tasty cookie, then you have to stop by here. There aren't many coffee types offered here BUT the brew was excellent. I am usually not a medium roast person (I prefer dark roast coffee) but they had just poured the last bit out because we arrived circa 5. This medium roast brew had a depth of flavor (which I find lacking in many others) which I appreciated. We also had the OG cookie and it was delicious. Just sweet enough and the walnuts added a nice crunch and balance. On a personal note I would prefer dark chocolate - but that's neither here nor there. We live a bit far but would return to try other cookies, the espresso, and the dark roast. The service was wonderful - one of the best cafe experiences I have had and I love trying new places. I also really liked the modern-yet-not-clinical atmosphere in the shop. Keep up the good work and keep the good brews coming, y'all!
