Omg was it ever so beautiful. ❤️ They keep it very clean. I could sit 🪑and watch the waves 🌊 for hours ☺️

Me and my bestie wandered around the water front and took in the peacefulness you felt here. Very interesting history and architecture surrounds the grounds.

A small park nested behind the city, you'll have to walk a block to get there. At the park, you can visit the arch, or go to the park and walk around. The park itself is small and behind a Newport News Shipbuilding building, but still beautiful nonetheless. Here, you are right along the ocean. You can see some warships on both sides of the park

The arch is HUGE! Didn't expect this to be such a cool place. Live oaks and magnolias surround a park with great history and amazing views of the ships in the bay.

I went on a Saturday afternoon. It was VERY quiet. Probably a hidden gem in Newport News. Nice place to go to clear ya mind. The view of the James River Bridge and Ships is spectacular.

Came here for the 4th of July celebration, and it was probably the best I've been to!! All the food vendors, face painting, and people in costumes were awesome additions!

4th of July concert & fireworks - The people were friendly. The music was fun. The food was good. The fireworks were wonderful! We enjoyed every minute of our visit.
