Exceeded expectations. Rooms were clean and had everything we needed to be comfortable and relaxed. The food was delicious and was presented beautifully each morning. Water and coffee are available all day and night. Close enough to walk to everything but far enough from the noise of town. Definitely planning a return visit.

We absolutely LOVED our stay at Serenity Inn. The inn keeper Lisa is the absolute sweetest and makes you feel right at home the second you walk in through the door. The rooms are spotless and they have coffee and tea available for their guests always. It’s in a wonderful location and in the morning they have complimentary breakfast which is made fresh for you in the morning. I would highly recommend staying here and we can’t wait to stay here again!!

Rented rooms out for my family and finacee for a wedding in downtown Newport. Parents loved it so much they decided to come back for their April vacation and booked before they left. Rooms were very nice and modern yet cozy. The service was out of this world with a fantastic breakfast every morning. The only downside is parking is tricky, but it's tricky in all of downtown Newport. Don't need to drive as almost anything you would want to do in Newport is within walking distance.

STAY HERE! My husband and I have never stayed at a B&B and we were a little hesitant, but I’m so glad we decided to give it a go (the reviews were helpful!) From the room, to the service, to the breakfast- everything was wonderful! Cannot give enough compliments to the warm and caring staff. I even forgot my glasses, and they contacted me and are mailing them to me- that’s above and beyond. We booked another visit before we left, and we will continue to visit at the Serenity Inn!

The Serenity Inn in Newport RI is amazing! My daughter and I had an incredible experience there and heartily recommend it! It's only 2 blocks from the Thames St shops and restaurants, but on a very quiet street surrounded by other historic homes. The innkeeper Lisa was extremely friendly and helpful, as were all the staff. Breakfast was delicious, and our room was extremely clean and comfortable! Such a memorable visit and definitely excellent value! I highly recommend this inn!!!

Lisa our innkeeper was extremely cordial and friendly. She shared so much information with us about the inn and the surrounding area. She made sure we had everything we needed and if not to contact her and she would do what she could to make us happy. In all my years of travel (70), I can’t remember anyone being more accommodating or pleasant. She is a superlative inn keeper . Our rooms were large and beautiful. Dining area was also very nice and food was phenomenal. Rooms come with breakfast each morning and we’re not talking about a cold continental breakfast. This was a made to order, hot breakfast with eggs, meat, toast, etc. There are several choices for coffee, flavored, etc.

We LOVED our stay at the Serenity Inn and can't wait to go back. We had a room with a fireplace, which, at Christmastime in Newport, was extra magical. The dining room was beautifully decorated and had coffee/tea available at all hours and with to-go cups so you could take it with you. They also supplied wine glasses if you wanted to have a romantic evening in your room. Location is great too. The room felt incredibly clean and the bed was comfortable. 10/10 recommend.

This sweet bed and breakfast adds even more charm to charming Newport. I cannot express enough how lovely the whole experience is - the food is DELICIOUS, the staff is so friendly, the rooms and house are beautiful. It is truly like staying at a close friend’s house… but better! And the location could not be better. Thank you, Serenity Inn, for sharing your magic with me!

We had a lovely experience at The Serenity Inn in Newport. The Inn is run by two very kind women who answered all our questions, showed us around upon arrival, and helped us with everything we needed. The Inn is about a 5-10 minute walk from the main harbor area, so it was a very quick and easy walk from all the shops, restaurants, and bars. The rooms were very clean, air conditioned, and had everything we needed. The beds were comfy and the bathrooms were very modern; the showers had great water pressure. I wish I got a picture of the room as we arrived, but it was beautifully made up. The overall aesthetic of the Inn was very romantic and sweet. Parking was available onsite, though at full capacity, parking was not guaranteed on their lot. The innkeepers provided passes to park our car in a nearby lot which was great. Breakfast was made by the innkeepers in the morning, and was very delicious. They asked about allergies ahead of time and they were able to make modifications to the dish on the morning of. Aside from breakfast, they had a table on the main floor with juices, waters, and snacks. Our only regret was only staying for one night. We cant say enough about our experience at The Serenity Inn and can’t wait to come back next year!

We loved our stay in room 10 at Serenity Inn. Maria greeted us upon arrival and gave us a personal greeting, tour of the premises, and brought us to our room. The room was small but the outdoor deck was large and had a great view of the harbor. I enjoyed reading on the couch in the afternoon upon arrival, and we enjoyed a bottle of bubbles on the deck while watching the sunset. The inn had every ring we needed, glassware, ice buckets, etc and access to coffee/tea/fruit water 24/7. A delicious fresh hot breakfast was included and wonderful. The inn had convenient parking and was a quick walk to anywhere we needed. Definitely recommend this beautifully appointed historical inn for a visit in Newport!

We stayed here for a mid-week getaway and could not have picked a better place! The staff is super friendly and helpful, the room was perfectly equipped and clean, breakfast changes daily and is delicious, and the location is central and walkable to pretty much everything. We would stay here again for sure!

My wife and I very strongly recommend The Serenity Inn at Newport, Rhode Island. The service we received was impeccable, the Inn and room were very clean, and just perfect. The Inn keepers, Maria and Lisa, treated us with utmost attention and kindness. They made our experience very worthwhile. The Inn provides very much needed free parking as the area has not so friendly parking. Most of the restaurants and areas of attraction are within walking distance of the Inn. Wish I could give them more than 5-stars on everything. Definitely want to return there.

Such a beautiful bed and breakfast in a very convenient and quiet location! My daughter and I stayed in Room 10, and it was absolutely perfect for us! So pretty and so comfortable with our own private deck with great distant ocean views and the most beautiful sunsets! The breakfasts we had were absolutely delicious and we enjoyed them on our deck. Lisa was so helpful when we checked in and recommended a great restaurant, The Moorings, which we really enjoyed. The rest of the staff were very kind and helpful too. I highly recommend staying here and hope to return again!!

The Serenity Inn in Newport, Rhode Island, is an experience you won't soon forget. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with a sense of warmth and comfort that lasts throughout your stay. The beds are plush and inviting, promising a night of restful sleep. The food is another highlight, far exceeding typical bed-and-breakfast fare. Each meal seems carefully curated to delight your taste buds, turning breakfast into an event you eagerly anticipate. But it's not just the amenities that make this place shine; it's also the details. The water pressure in the showers is superb, making your daily routine feel more like a spa experience. What truly sets this inn apart, however, is the exceptional service led by Maria, the host. Her attentiveness and genuine care for guests turn a great stay into an extraordinary one. From the moment you arrive to the time you reluctantly check out, Maria ensures everything is just perfect. All in all, the Serenity Inn offers a flawless blend of comfort, cuisine, and outstanding service. It's not just a place to stay—it's a place you'll want to return to, time and time again.

We had a terrific stay at The Serenity Inn this past week. Our room was warm and inviting. Maria, Lisa, and the staff were gracious and accommodating. The breakfast each day was outstanding and you could tell it was prepared with care. We love to walk so the Inn was centrally located We never used our car for 3 days. Highly recommended.

I strongly recommend staying at this inn. It's fabulous! I was a little nervous before arriving because I'd never stayed at an inn before and don't know the protocol. However, the Serenity Inn staff made my friends and I feel very welcomed and at home as soon as we arrived. The furnishing is simple and cozy, making it very easy to settle in; not cluttered. The spaces are kept very clean, and I say this as a person with high standards for cleanliness. The area is quiet during the day and at night. The breakfast – delicious! The location is walking distance from the wharf and shopping, and a short drive from several attractions; we didn't drive more than 15 min at any given time. This stay made me love Newport.

Beautiful inn. Just like the name, it is quiet and very Zen. Outside has a great pergola and sitting area. Rooms are big. We had a king with a sofa and large bathroom. Bed was soft and comfy. Breakfast was lovely. They make you whatever you want. Coffee and tea 24/7. Inn keeper Lisa was very accommodating with great communication. Parking in the back included😁 Cons No coffee in the room Shower was warm/hot but not super hot I would stay here everytime I come to this area. Highly recommend!

Room 1 was right in front and had beautiful windows to the street. Breakfast was a large plate of blueberry bread pudding. So loved this place, it was on a perfect little street. Highly recommend! We felt like royalty! Check in was super easy- just needs codes to get inside. We were never bothered and it was like walking into our own house. Off season was perfect in early March.

We stayed at Serenity Inn in January 2023. Their location is good for exploring the downtown Newport area. We were able to walk to shops and restaurants. Our room was spacious and well kept. The staff at the Inn were lovely; they were always pleasant and considerate. On the last day of our stay, we left before having breakfast and they even offered to make us sandwiches for the road! When we did have breakfast, it was delicious and substantial. They also had light refreshments available throughout the day/night in the dining room. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back in the future.

The Serenity Inn was exactly what we were looking for for our weekend in Newport. It had such a wonderful New England B&B style and I was in love from the minute I walked in. The staff were so kind, the food for breakfast was above and beyond what I expected and so delicious and the room was beautiful and comfy. The location is also very convenient to everything in Downtown, with good parking options as well. If you can you should absolutely stay here - I want to go back already!

Wonderful stay! Can't beat the prime location (with parking), with downtown Newport a few blocks away. The rooms were comfortable and tastefully decorated. Breakfast was delicious and coffee bar had everything you could want. Staff was gracious and accommodating. We'll be back!

The Serenity Inn exceeded expectations! We checked in on New Year’s Day for a one night getaway. The Innkeeper greeted us and oriented us to the property and room. She was extremely welcoming and friendly. The inn is beautiful and centrally located. While it has the historical building charm, everything is nice and clean and fresh and not dated. The price was reasonable for Newport even when you factor in that it is the off-season. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise with a choice of blueberry cream cheese French toast bake or an egg, cheese and ham scramble. I had the blueberry French toast bake which is as indulgent as it’s sounds. I hadn’t ordered the eggs because I’m particular when it comes to scrambled eggs. I tasted my partner’s and they were excellent! I look forward to visiting the Serenity Inn again and will recommend it to friends.

I stayed at three different hotels during Christmas week and this one was the best and also least expensive. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean and simply decorated. There were extra towels and a great shower. There was no coffee or tea in room, but hot beverages and water were available in the dining room 24/7. The windows in my room actually opened and the window shades were not crumpled nor dusty. The breakfast was really good. They accommodate different diets. There was a stack of local papers and maps in the lobby, umbrellas if you need. The location was convenient to everything in Newport.

We stayed here for my birthday and we’re so happy and impressed when we arrived!!! It is a beautiful cozy inviting space and super super clean ! I really pay attention to all the details and everything was very clean! The room was exactly like the photos but even better, the breakfast room was amazing super cute and food was delicious and there were a lot of options! I would definitely stay here again and again. The bedroom was spacious and bathroom modern and spotless ( we stayed in room 9) I am very happy we chose to spend our night at this place!

Rooms are nice, breakfast was nice but rotation of 1 of only 2 breakfast options is offered each day. If you stay 3 or more days - you are getting a repeated breakfast. One of our friends does not each eggs. They should offer to make pancakes that day. Since this is a corporate owned B & B, it lacks some of the amenities that most B & B's offer. No home baked cookies for afternoon snacks. No bottles of water to grab upon exiting for the day of excursions. (There is a small refrigerator next to the ice maker on the main floor but it is empty.

Lovely small inn. Great location on a quiet street with an easy walk to Thames Street. Room was beautiful. Good sized with a fireplace and plenty of comfortable seating. Delicious breakfast. Warm and welcoming Innkeeper!

We stayed one night in Room 5, a king bed suite. It was beautiful, with a great view and the best shower head I've ever tried. Parking at the Inn is tight, but parking was available a block up the street that I was very comfortable with. The breakfast in the morning was outstanding, today was Waffles with a ham and cheese egg scramble. Highly recommend the Serenity Inn!

We LOVED our stay! The staff was so kind and helpful. The inn is in a great location and we just walked downtown. About 5-10 min walk. The room was absolutely beautiful and the bed was really comfortable. To top it all off the breakfast in the morning was delicious. French toast with fresh fruit and bacon. My husband and I think we want to make it a a yearly tradition to stay here. 10/10 recommend!

My husband and I stayed two nights at the Serenity Inn and we cannot say enough good things about it. The contactless check in was so easy and the room was immaculate!! We stayed in room 10 which has a private deck. The photos on the website do not do this room justice! The deck looks over the entire harbor and we watched cruise ships and sail boats come in each morning. The weather was exceptionally warm for October so we really got to enjoy it!! The bed is so comfortable, the bathroom was spacious and coffee/tea is available all day. The innkeeper and staff are extremely kind and courteous and they make a delicious breakfast each morning. We walked each night downtown for dinner and it was less than 5 minutes. It is in a perfect spot. We couldn’t have asked for a better way to relax after our wedding. Thank you so much and we will be back!!

Serenity Inn is fantastic. It's located in a charming, quiet neighborhood just a 5 minute walk from all the restaurants and shops at Bowen's Wharf. There is parking for 7 vehicles on-site and overflow parking right up the street. The property itself is great - everything is well-maintained, immaculately clean, and visually pleasing. We stayed in Room 11 which is a King bed room on the 3rd floor. The room was very spacious and comfortable with everything we needed. Bathroom is beautiful and the shower is great! Breakfast in the morning was delicious! Stuffed french toast with strawberries and bananas with sausage on the side. That, in addition to all of the juices, coffee, tea, fruit and yogurt that are available. HUGE thanks to Tania who greeted us upon our arrival, showed us to the room, and was free to answer any question we had at any time. We will absolutely be returning to the Serenity Inn each time we visit Newport.

This was our first time at a bed and breakfast and it did not disappoint! The innkeepers were friendly and helpful, the room we stayed in (Room 2) was spacious and clean with a comfy bed. The breakfasts each morning were incredibly delicious! The grounds were well kept and offered outside seating for the nice weather in the afternoons and evenings when we were there. The inn was located within a short walking distance to restaurants, shops and the waterfront. It would have been nice to have a mini fridge in the room but the one provided in the hall to share served it’s purpose. Overall I would definitely recommend staying here! It was a great backdrop for our anniversary getaway!
